took my friends compact car to have it washed, waxed and detailed, was there for more than three hours waiting on a compact car,....... when i saw the car was finished, i had to get the receptionist because no one was letting me know the car was finished, the receptionist walked outside with me and talked to the manager, his name is Carlos and i watched him from a distance get the message from the receptionist that i was waiting for him to look at the car together before i left and he walked off and started helping other workers on other cars, a second customer had seen what had happened and let me know what he had done, i answered, "yes, i saw what happened, i saw what he did", i got Carlos to get himself to my friends car, when i looked inside the car, the vacuming was a bad, the wiping of the windows was worse, i would have got a better wash if i would have taken it to some high school kids at a Sonic Drive In car wash, when i talked to Carlos about it he wanted me after more than three hours of waiting to leave the car there longer when i said i am out of time than he wanted to know when i could bring it back i told him this was not my car and i needed to get my friends car back to her, i called The Wash Tub less than 2 hours later and talked to Carlos on the phone, i asked him why he disregarded the message from the receptionist about myself waiting for him at my friends car and caught him lying to me saying he was looking for the keys at another car, i answered back, i saw what you were doing and you were not looking for any keys than i asked him why would you be looking for the keys in another car anyways? Carlos did not know what to say, he than started talking about some thing else acting as if he was concerned about what happened by asking what could he do to make what happened right, i said return my $127.99 back and i am never coming back to The Wash Tub in New Braunfels, again Carlos did not say any thing, he kept trying to give me extras services for the car i did not want, why? this is the third time in a row i get bad work from The Wash Tub, i answered all i needed after $127.99 and 3 hours of waiting was good work and more being this car belonged to a friend, it was not until i said i was going to write about what happened on Google Reviews for every one to read and know about The Wash Tub in New Braunfels than to the The Wash Tub Main Office that he started talking about refunding the money, i told him because i have to go to that extent of writing about what happened to get my money back now i do not want the money and am going to go through with the review on Google and letter to The Wash Tub Main Office

I had a good experience here a couple of months ago and have been meaning to write a review about it. I had accidentally left a bottle of home brewed beer in the back seat of my brand new car and in the heat of the summer it burst, spreading shards of glass all over the car and saturating the back seat with beer. It SMELLED! After being turned down for the task by Clear Blue Car Wash, I took the car down the street to Wash Tub and asked what they could do. In their offense, the deep clean hot water extraction package was very expensive, but in their defense, they were willing to manually adjust the price in half to only do the back half of my car. That was very cooperative of them. They also were careful to disclaim that the process may or may not even work for the beer, which is no easy adversary. I decided to proceed. They went through with a standard cleaning and careful vacuuming of the glass, then proceeded with the deep clean. After this, the manager approached me with chagrin and admitted that the process was not very successful and the beer smell was still strong. He asked my permission to hold my car a bit longer in order to try some less orthodox "house-hold" remedies to see if anything else would help. He assured me it would be at no extra cost. Over the next 45 minutes, I watched as 4 or 5 employees, along with the manager himself piled in and out of my vehicle with different machines and chemicals. I admittedly have no idea what they were doing, but my great impression of this place was made from the fact that they would not give up on the task at hand until they were satisfied theyd done everything in their power to fix the problem. The manager periodically approached me with updates and words of encouragement. When they were finally finished, my car smelled 90% better; a fact that I was satisfied with but they were embarrassed by. I wasnt even expecting perfection (it had been an Imperial IPA beer, VERY smelly). Bottom line is that it wasnt the cheapest place, but they were extremely oriented towards customer satisfaction and were ready to bend rules and think outside the box to handle an odd situation.

Currently not very impressed with The Wash Tub...my wife and I had the car washed here Sunday morning. When we picked the car up, I immediately noticed two significant scratches in the drivers seat. When brought to Joshuas, a manager, attention he said hed be right back and walked inside. So I waited about 10 minutes before going inside after him. He told me there was an issue with their camera system, so he needed to get in touch with the corporate office, and would contact me by the end of the day. He did not. So at about 11 on Monday morning I called, and spoke to Keith since Josh was not at the location, who told me he would contact Josh and have him get in touch with me. Just before 3 I called back and spoke with Keith again, who said he spoke to Josh just after hanging up with me earlier and that I should have heard from him. I got the number to the location at which Josh is working, and called but he was on his lunch break. I hope that I can come back to this review later, add a few more stars and positively revise. We shall see

With all the rain weve had and the fact that I have traveled through mud and clay due to all the construction work in New Braunfels, my car was beyond dirty. I pulled into Washtub on 46 and talked with Crystal who was a ray of Sunshine, happy and big smile ... She said not to worry they would take care of it. Do not know if she is a manager or not, but she followed up with me even out to the front line to make sure I was satisfied...she looked over my car thoroughly gave her two workers on the line some tips on lean down look under the edge of the car...stand back and look you cant see that lower edge under the doors from too close...my car looked like brand new when I left. I was blown away with the care and attention to detail...usually Im the one that has to say you missed a spot...not at this Washtub...dont know your last name Crystal...dont know if youll see this...But THANK YOU...it made my day to see that employees still care as if its their own business!
