Would not recommend EVER unless you hate the person and want them to have a damaged home. Mr. Rooter techs attempted to install a damaged water heater in my home but luckily my husband caught them and asked why it was so beat up. The Techs lied and said they bumped it (never heard a loud thump was in room next to them) so the install took twice as long because they had to carry it back down from the attic and go get a NEW water heater (like we paid for). Then the techs disconnected my AC incorrectly and did not reattach the condensation line so once we got the AC back on BAM water damage down stairs. A contractor was eventually sent out by them but the work is satisfactory I can still see water spots and lines in my ceiling where they tried to hide the damage. SO SAD! Because I have been calling and emailing trying to get someone to my home to fix the crappy contractor work but no call back. Going on TWO months and no call back. Oh did I mention they put work fans and a dehumidifier in my home that ran 24/7 for a few days so my TXU bill was through the roof. No offer to compensate!! DON USE!! Just read that the Owner responded and she has been provided the wrong information by her employees. Your team worked with the Mata family I was present each time a Mr. Rooter tech came out except when Walt came to see the initial damage. Your tech DID NOT immediately return any water heater. Galvin and his helper took the water heater into my attic in the Houston Summer heat and began to install it. It wasnt until my husband went to peek on how things were going that he said why is it all beat up. That is when your tech said he could take $50 off since it was damaged. Another tech an older gentlemen came to my home and informed my husband that there are several damaged/dinged up water heaters at the warehouse and if a tech can sell it for a $50 bucks off they get money in return. HMMMMM! How would I know all this if Galvin would of done his job right in the first place??? NO ONE was contacted immediately...how do I know OH because I was able to get about four quotes from different companies to fix the damage Mr. Rooter did before any one from MR. Rooter came out!! We called Walt and he even informed my husband that Mr. Rooter had not been in contact with him yet! We only had Walts number from the older gentlemen. There was NEVER a final walk through. Not from Mr. Rooter or from Walt. A couple showed up to my home did the crappy repair and Mr. Rooter and Walt disappeared and have been avoiding us. My husband has called several times but no one returns our calls. I am glad you saw the pictures and while it may be satisfactory to you this is not your house. IT IS MY HOUSE AND THERE IS STILL DAMAGE!!! We also noticed that our light fixture is beginning to rust from where the water dripped down. I hate to put Mr. Rooter on blast but you said so yourself YOU HAVE NOT RETURNED MY CALLS EVEN THOUGH I CALL EVERY DAY. Walt the Mr. Rooter "professional contractor" by the way works for you so he will agree with who ever signs his checks! Please feel free to call me or my husband tomorrow so we can stop having these public discussions that only make Mr. Rooter look bad. I will be updating my complaint with the BBB to inform they about the light fixture damage. And if we dont hear back from you by the BBB time frame I will be happy to take you to court because I have all my records and phone records to show Mr. Rooter has never contacted me other than to take my money!!!

DONT BE TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF BY THIS COMPANY!!! I called and asked if Mr. Rooter did septic inspections for home closings and they said that they did. So I scheduled an appointment for the next day. They showed up and I reconfirmed with the on site representative that what he was providing was what the underwriter was asking for, and he said yes. He said he would do this and that which didnt mean anything to me as I had no idea what was involved in a septic inspection and them being a major company and not some fly by night Joe the plumber business, I TRUSTED them. Anyways, the representative did whatever he did which seemed to be slightly more than what my home inspector had done. He gave me a "report" and went on about his day. I submitted the "report" of the "septic inspection" that Mr. Rooter gave me to my broker. A couple of days later I got a call back from the broker and he said their "septic inspection" was really a plumbing inspection (checking for leaky faucets, leaky pipes, etc...) The home inspector I hired three weeks ago had done that much. The only thing Mr. Rooter did additional to what my home inspector had done was run a camera probably 50 into the clean out. My broker advised me what Mr. Rooter had done was not even remotely close to what they needed. I found out from the next company I called (the one who WAS able to provide what I REQUESTED, a SEPTIC INSPECTION) that in a septic inspection they are checking the flow rate of the septic, capacity of the septic tank, functionality of the sprayers, etc... not whatever non-sense Mr. Rooter had done. I called and asked Mr. Rooter for a refund based on the fact that they didnt provide the requested service and they refused. They said "they did perform services at the residence" which I guess technically is true, they did do something, just not what I asked for or needed. I have now paid Mr. Rooter for a septic inspection (which they apparently didnt really perform and refuse to refund my money) and I also had to pay a legitimate company who knows what theyre doing to come and perform the septic inspection. Mr. Rooter is incompetent and they certainly should not be sought out with the confidence they are "experts" in their field! Youd be better off picking up a day laborer at your local hardware store or on craigslist. AVOID MR. ROOTER COMPLETELY!!!

Hours and hours to fix a leak in the bathroom sink and it still leaks. Sold us a faucet for a ridiculous price and accused me of breaking the faucet so it was not in warranty. Very nice young technician who has not been trained properly. He had to come back after not being able to fix the leak the first time and ask for help and no one came back with him so he tried again and I had to call for the third time and he took several hours to install the third part and it still leaks. Anxious to hear the owners reply since their bad reviews are always the customers fault. I know exactly what happened here and will not use them. Forgot to mention the guy hooked the hot and cold up backwards. i got my response from the owner and it was exactly as I predicted. with some slight variations of what happened of course. First the faucet was not customer supplied it came out of their truck. my young tech told me it was never necessary to remove the filter on the faucet i guess he has never owned one that doesnt get mineral deposits in the filter. Wonder why there is a filter on the thing. I was not ugly to the kid who didnt know what he was doing just totally dumb founded. I had to go get him out of his truck to get the lavatory to drain. He made a motion to pull up the plunger rod and I told m him I had and he came out and after another 30 minutes got it fixed. After all it is as i said and I recommend googleing them to see the many complaints all over the country. These people will say and teach their people to treat the customer like they dont know anything. And again what kind of certified tech would hook the hot and cold up backwards.
