There to pick up my dry cleaning. I had 2 other customers in front of me; and soon there were about 8 customers behind me. i did NOT have my ticket with me nor could I remember the exct day I dropped off my dry cleaning. The female owner could not locate their copy of my ticket in their ticket turn style. I she looked at my credit card to ensure the spelling. She still could not find it. She asked that I step aside so she can help her other customers. I did not like it but I did. She looked through the turn rack looking for my items. She could not find. She finally said "oh well, they do not have my items" I told her they must be there can she continue to look. She became beligerant with me saying that she is trying to "help" me, as if she was doing my a favor. She pulled her other customers into the situation trying to get them to vouche for her and the dry cleaner. This was very emabarassing as I felt she was trying to make a specitcal of me. I asked her what she was looking for when she was going throught the turn rack. She said my name. I asked if it was possible they mistakenly put the wrong ticket on my items and could I look as I could recognize my items. She said they "do not make mistakes there. They do not have my clothes!" The coverstaion admitingly became heated. She turned and looked on their ticket turn style and asked what my phone number was again. This would have been at least the third time I am telling her this. My ticket was right there. There was a type O with just one letter off the correct spelling. Not error enough not to be able to not recognize my name. Not once did she apologize for her MISTAKE. She even said "this is how you people are in this country, appreciate nothing"!! It was a vey ugly situation and I do not recommend ANYONE using their services. There are too many dry cleaners in the area to have to put up with this kind of unprofessionalism.

Ive used Unik for about 3 years now...and Im now searching for a new cleaners as theyve now damaged at least 4 items. I shouldve switched after the first instance, but kept going back b/c they are very conveniently located near my house. 1st item damaged - my absolutely FAVORITE black sweater - they SHRUNK it! I asked how that could even happen as it was suppose to be DRY CLEANED...they offered to stretch it - but that only made it worse. Never offered anything for it or apologized. 2nd item was another sweater that was stretched out too much while cleaning and looks 2 sizes too big! 3rd - that same sweater had a beautiful pendant on the front (that was sown on) only for me to find out that it was missing after having it cleaned. Owner said shed look for it...yeah right. 4th (and final) damage done to another shirt that had beautiful beadwork on the front - as I attempted to wear it one day after just picking it up, ALL of the beads are ruined and some even MISSING! The fabric even looks torn in a few places. I have NO idea how the heck they can be so careless and damage items as they have, but that was the absolute LAST draw!

Warning, warning this dry cleaner is a hell of a mess We switch because we were looking for a closer cleaner then what we had, but this was adsolutely a bad decision. When I pick up my stuff person there said my husband favorite suit was return, after minutes trying to figure out what she meant, I found out that the suit my husband loved had some kind of smear gum cleaner lady said, but it was actually an iron mark apparently they put on iron on it and burned it, and told her it was not there when I drop it, but no way she understood and took responsability of it at all,talked to owner/manager and did not even help so I was mad because they are so irresponsible and damage the suit my husband loves, so when I came home I told my husband about it and he started searching through, there was a shirt that was not done and they did charge for it also and the pants were wrinkle in one side, they only did one side of the pants, etc, etc bad, bad and bad dry clean. Please be wise and learn from others mistake if you want to be smart go ahead. I will be reading your experience next time.
