We called Daniels Plumbing after a co-workers recommendation to diagnose a leak on our toilet upstairs. They came, drilled a hole on our ceiling in the kitchen directly downstairs and found no problem and determined that the leak was from the base of the toilet. The description they put in the invoice is "Found glue joint was bad at toilet flange, replaced flange and reset toilet". For this amount of work, they charged us $625!! My husband and I were not at the house when they came so my father-in-law thought he needed to pay which he did using his credit card. We found this to be unfair given that they worked on it for only an hour and a half and the cost of the materials is minimal. I called the office 4 times and I was only told the owner will be calling me back. The next day the owner called and told me he will talk with the technician and that the office will call me back to let me know the outcome. As expected, they never called me back so I called the following week, and they said they will credit us $150. After checking, they actually only put back $100 into our credit card. When asked why, they said they never told me they were going to credit me $150. This is a complete lie. They also told me it was their number 1 technician that came out which I think is irrelevant to the issue of them overcharging. Any good plumber will not charge $300 an hour to replace a toilet flange. We think this is an unfair charge for the amount of work performed and especially that they left us a hole in our ceiling that we now have to get fixed for another couple hundred dollars. It is unfortunate that we have to resort to other avenues to make their bad practice known simply because they were very hard to negotiate with. They are quick to respond when called for work but are definitely not easy to talk to (if you can even get to talk to the right person) after the work has been done and they have received payment. We feel we have been taken advantage of by Daniels Plumbing and because of this we will never go back to them nor will we be recommending them to anyone.

I have never really had any plumbing problems before, or if i did, they were minor and i was able to handle them myself or with some self taught google-ing. I have houses in Spring and Houston and one day the water heater in my Spring house decided to go out. I read about fixing it on my own, but thought i would call a plumber for some quick advice on fixing it solo. I wasnt even planning on having anyone come out. I called a few places like Roto-Rooter and Milton Frank, but they were not going to give me any help without charging me to send a plumber out. I kept looking and saw the Daniels Plumbing link. I called and got a guy named Mike who i strongly recommend. He walked me through the entire process asking for nothing in return, until I decided I just could absolutely not do it myself. Mike came out himself and installed my new water heater. I didnt want to risk the same thing happening in my Houston house, so I asked him about that and he went out the same day and replaced the water heater in that house as well. We built a great relationship, and I will be for sure going back to Daniels Plumbing for any of my future plumbing needs. I wanted to write a review to get a smaller company like Daniels Plumbing on the map. Family owned and great people to work with, they gave me the best price I had seen on any water heaters around. I highly recommend.

I called Daniels Plumbing on Sunday, August 17 in the morning and actually spoke to a real person. I could not get another plumber out on the weekend. I called several different companies and continued to get the answering service. I was told that the on-call plumber would call me back, but to no avail. We had water running down the back of our bathroom wall from an AC issue in the attic. Water was coming up from the carpet and pad in the closet. Mike (the owner) came out and temporarily fixed the issue so that we could start to dry out and function in our home. Monday morning Thomas came out and corrected all of the problems that the AC contractor left behind. I couldnt be happier with this company and with Thomas. He was friendly, professional and knew about plumbing and how AC systems/plumbing systems and drains co-exist. He had things fixed in quick order and was very reasonable with pricing. Thomas and the other employees are great people to work with. In the office, Jodi called to let me know when he was coming and to make sure I was available. I highly recommend Daniels Plumbing. Thanks Mike and Thomas!

We needed a plumber yesterday (Sunday) with a problem that needed to be fixed right away for our tenant. We suspected it was the main line to the house that was the problem (that it was), and I really did not know what plumber I could trust. Our tenant needed this fixed right away because they couldnt use the tub, sink or toilettes. We called, he answered, and then he made it to the house within an hour and fixed the problem with a flat charge. No emergency rates and no surprises. He also sent me the receipt to my phone for my records. Other companies we called charged $150 emergency rate and could not give me a ballpark idea of what price we could expect to pay. Glad I kept calling down the list before committing to a higher price. We would have ended up paying nearly double. They did not charge emergency rates, and he told what I could expect to pay for him to fix the problem. Other companies kept telling me it depends, and they would have to look first and this would have been on top of their $150 emergency rate. Our last experience was with John Moore; they ripped us off, and we obviously wouldnt use them again.

I was very pleased with Daniels Plumbing. After speaking with a friendly and informative operator, I was able to get an appointment the same day. She also answered some of my questions and even had the technician call me with further information. The operator also let me know when the technician was coming, and gave me a 20 minute warning call before he arrived, so I could continue with my day. When the technician arrived, he was friendly, professional and knowledgeable. He explained the procedures, and gave me a very affordable price before he began the work. After completing the job, he educated me on ways to prevent future plumbing problems and answered all my questions. I felt like he genuinely cared about the work he had done. If youre looking for a plumbing service thats prompt, friendly, affordable and most of all professional then you should call Daniels Plumbing! Sincerely, Annette Chuckran

Called Daniels Plumbing to come out and fix a pin hole leak in the plastic line that supplies water to the house. I had already dug down to the leak which was in a 90 degree elbow. Daniels did show up on time. All they needed to do was replace one 90 degree elbow and about 4 feet of pipe. They needed about $10 worth of plastic pipe and maybe 30 minutes to fix the leak. They quoted $450 to fix the pin hole leak. To say I was shocked at the quote is an understatement given it was a easy quick fix. Unbelievable. I said no thank you and immediately called another plumbing company. The other company quickly came out, replaced the faulty elbow and replaced about 4 feet of pipe. All done in less than 30 minutes. Price $200. So before you call Daniels I would check with other plumbers for a better price.
