Our toilet had gotten clogged and wouldnt flush and after our home warranty issued out a plumber to come take a look they wanted to charge us an arm and a leg to replace the entire toilet because he said the entire toilet was broken. After that visit I decided to call Joe the Plumber since its right down the road from where I live for a second opinion. They are very professional and polite and sent over a gentleman within the next hour. To my surprise he was able to unclog whatever was stuck for half the price I wouldve paid the original plumber that came out the first time. Im glad I trusted my gut instinct that the first guy was trying to rip me off and called Joe the Plumber for a second opinion and got the job done! This will be the only place I will go to first should I have any issues in the future. Thank you - Rene

Total ripoff. Ive been in the construction industry for the last fifteen years and a project manager/super for the last five of years, so I have a pretty good idea of what things cost. Anyway, back to the review. My moms garbage disposal died and I didnt have time to swap it out myself so I figure Id support one of my local businesses. The cheap ass garbage disposals that people use out here cost about $100 and take you thirty minutes to swap out. I figure Ill end up paying $200, no big deal. They come back and tell me they want $387. All I could do was laugh and hang up. How the hell can you charge $287/hr to do something that the greenest plumber on earth can do. Do yourselves a favor and find a more honest local business to support.

Great Experience!! Im glad I didnt listen to the other reviews. I called and they came over in less than 30 min. Fixed my faucets and looked at my sprinkler system. Louis said he will come back out to check my sprinkler system again and if he can fix it he will but if not he will let me know if I need to call in someone else. He could have very well lied to me and said he could fix it and charge me but he didnt. I appreciate his honesty and willingness to help. Will use them for all my plumbing needs from here on out. Thanks for a job well done and your professionalism.

I spent over $2000 with this company, only to have their employee Rick lie to me and never keep his appointments. They gave me a price upfront to include everything. After I paid, I was presented two subsequent invoices. It was nickel dime stuff they had already been paid for. They held up a major remodeling job I had going for a total of 4 days at least. Never use these guys if you want something done on time and with quality work. Its been over a month now and I am still waiting for them to finish. Never again will I use this company.

Called to discuss and arrange for an estimate to install two unions on a water filtration system. They agreed to look at a picture I took and would call me back to discuss the work. Never heard back on that or my follow up. A $150 - $200 job seems to be too small to interest them. If they look at the big picture, which is I am looking for a "go to" plumber for all my future work, that would bring bigger projects to them in the future. I will post to Angies List as well, where these guys are listed and I am not sure why.

My folks had a hot water heater issue. They came out promptly and had to order parts that came next day. He had advised that the unit he serviced had a terrible track record and gave us an estimate. Two weeks later the tank died and true to his word quote remained the same when we call this morning. Not but two hours later a team was here to install and get the old one to salvage. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THESE GUYS! Clean cut professional at all levels and very personable. Could not have asked for more. THANKS JOE!

These guys really understand my needs. Ive used them on a number of occasions and they never fail to provide anything but top rate service. They arrive on-time, ready to go to work and make every effort to solve our problems correctly and for a fair price. In fact, I called them about a problem I was having with our shower and they quickly told me I needed additional work before I called them for repairs. I will always make Joe the Plumber my first call for all my plumbing needs!

I call Joe the Plumber, leave a message, they do not return my call, but I call them again since I had success in the past. I immediately speak to someone and they say they are 45-60 minutes out from being at my house. After 2 hours I call the plumber back, he goes on to tell me he is at the shop picking up a part and is only 15 minutes away. 3.5 hours later (total duration), I call them and cancel the service call. Just horrible communication.

I actually had a really good experience with Joe the Plumber. It was a "simple" job for a Faucet and garbage disposal install. I was quoted a price over the phone and the only difference in the final price was the cost for the time it took me to get a cord that I needed (in which he waited an hour). The work was done well, I was informed of all the work done and it is under warranty. I will consider using them again.

Two different issues at our place. Both times they were VERY responsive and ON TIME AS STATED which is very important. And the price was awesome on both jobs we had done. 1 was sewer line repair for tree roots and the other was a main line from kitchen sink cleaned out. 70 feet. Great people who provide great service. Ive used them several times and have found them to be helpful, professional, and reasonably priced. Best of all they dont try to sell you a "service package" or push other things on you that you dont need (unlike some other service companies). I highly recommend them.

Joe the Ripper is what we call him. Joe has 3 charges starting at $187.00,$287.00& 387.00 depending on how small the job is. Replace a dishwasher hose 287.00. Replace a faucet cartridge $187.00. All way over priced and when questioned simply reply "thats what we charge". Never again JTR.

They came out and gave us a quote then when I scheduled the work to be done they showed up and said they wouldnt honor their own bid and it would be 30% more. The manager was supposed to get back with me but never did. Terrible service.
