Our experience has lasted all of five days. We moved in on Monday and on Saturday at 7AM we went back to find our unit had been broken into and our items stolen. Now, I understand that is not the facilitys fault, but they cannot answer any questions about their daily walkthroughs, refuse to offer the limited video footage that have (the cameras only point at their things, not the unit. One on the front gate, one on the dumpster, and one on control room). They are requiring a warrant, which fine we have the police involved, but nothing like wanting to be helpful to your customers. Im also seriously questioning if these walkthroughs even get done, since no one can answer those questions. Also, I asked for my monthly payment to be prorated considering I only used five days and am obviously moving out. Not to mention, the sliding piece that locks my unit has been cut open. I was told no refund would be given. This place is fine, as long as no one finds out youre storing anything thats actually valuable. Aside from this situation, there is also a man that sleeps there in a sleeping bag at night.

Furious! I have been paying on this storage for over 6 years and they keep increasing my unit and its the smallest they offer and Im now up to $108 a month. I never complain about anything, just provide the service and ill pay. I live out of the state and depend on this company to watch my belongings for me and they keep letting me down every year that passes. Well, Ive decided to finally grab my belongings in May and yet again another policy has been changed without notice. After being a loyal customer for so long, he had the audacity to basically tell me , "oh well, dont get mad at us if you dont get a notice, we dont have to give you one because its a courtesy, not demanded", which I never knew because its not in the contract. HOW F"N RUDE!! Loyalty has never meant anything to these people. Will, not be doing business with these thieves anymore. Cant wait to grab my stuff. Rent long term at your own risk

I have been at this Universal City Public Storage facility for over 11 years. Since I have been there they have changed managers only twice. Currently, Bruce is the manager. The changes that Public Storage has made to the property are good. They have eliminated people from abusing the trash dumpster, painted the buildings, gave the ashpalt a new coating and made sure that during the night hours everything is visible. I contribute this to Bruce and his take charge management attitude. He is very easy to talk with and answers all your questions in such a way you can easily understand. This facility is located in Universal City off of 1604 & Meadow Land Drive. 78148. Bruce and his staff are always nice and attentive to their customers. Public Storage has a great man working for them. I would recommend this facility to anyone who asks where to go for storage. Thanks Bruce.

This place is not a secure place. There are no surveillance cameras along the rental isles. Your units are open to criminal activity because criminals know that information. A family member was a victim of robbery to his unit. There was no video surveillance to capture the perpetrators. The company has surveillance cameras only to the office and entry point. Their surveillance also only has a 7 day memory. After 7 days, it deletes all video and thereof any criminal activity. From that, you do not have any chance to a case, or identifying the criminals. I also found out from the office, is that Universal City Police do not bother reviewing video concerning theft. So, that right there lets you know that this place is Highly not recommended.

If you are in the Live Oak, Universal City or Converse area and need storage...look no further! The facility is extremely well kept and secure, and a lot of units to choose from. The facility manager Bruce is as good as they get. He is extremely helpful and provides good input as to what would best suit your needs. He even has gone as far as to come out to the unit if there are any issues and help you out on the spot. I have rented storage units before, but this has by far been my best experience overall. Dont look any further, this is where you definetely want to go!

I tend to wait until the last minute to do things and nothing changed while I was looking for a storage facility. I was able to make my reservation online for a climate controlled unit. When I called to confirm, the associate was very professional and helpful. I had a moving company with me when I moved in later that day and he let them begin loading my things into storage while we started the paperwork in the office. That was a big help since they were being paid by the hour! I would happily recommend Public Storage in Universal City for all your storage needs!

I have been to this location a number of times, I have had Bruce , Katherine and Megan to wait on me. All three was very helpful. They made sure you knew everything you needed to. They were very patient and accommodating. I recommend this site to anyone who is looking for a storage unit inside or outside .

I looked online and found this was the most conveniently located storage facility for my needs. The staff was so helpful and friendly. You cant beat the rates either! If you reserve online they give you the first month for $1 and discounted monthly rates on your rent. Id definitely recommend Public Storage in Universal City.

They were very friendly & helpful to our request & immediate needs for a quick move in. I would highly recommend this east side location.

I had my furniture in this location for about 4 years. They have great storage units when i finally went back for everything ..my furniture was still in the same condition as the first day. The manager in this location is very kind and helpful. This location is quiet and has great lighting outside.

Public storage was great! So easy! I immediately got a call and they answered all my questions. Cheapest place around and I researched them all! When I came in the office Bruce was super helpful and the process was very smooth. Love that Im not locked in. No hidden fees! I recommend this location!
