Its alright, but I have some things to say that they could improve on. I brought my laptop in to replace my badly cracked screen, everything was taken care of swiftly and a week and a half later I got my laptop back. Though Im not the most patient person I wish they would have sent me more alert texts to let me know the progress so I wouldnt feel forgotten, like saying "your computer has been shipped to our Layton facility-weve ordered the parts and they should be here within 3-4 business days" things like that, you know? But anyway, I got my computer back and when I turned it on it had been pinched too hard or the screen a dud or something- but bottom line it had a few dead pixels so I went back the next day, went to the front desk and started to explain to the girl my problem-to which she interrupted me in a sort of "please dont be angry at me, be angry at him instead tone." I work in customer service and I know what its like to be her and I truly hope I didnt seem angry or anything but I just didnt like her interupting me like that. Its really a small thing though. BUT I didnt like having to come back and now since I have, Ive been waiting about 2 weeks for my second repair and have not been contacted at all which is why this rating was prompted. I understand sometimes the job doesnt get done the first try every single time but I would have appreciated it if they double checked it before contacting me to pick it up.

I have been a loyal customer of Starwest Computers since 2002 and use them for personal and business needs. I consult for some small businesses and I have outfitted an entire architecture firm Blalock and Partners with 8 workstations which saved them thousands of dollars compared with Dell workstations. I really enjoy the personal and working relationships that I have made with David Jones, Lindsay Jones and their awesome computer technician Travis who has bailed me out a couple of times when I was overburdened with computer problems and needed an extra hand. They are always helpful, prompt, courteous and friendly. I always refer Starwest to others that have computer needs and I have never heard of complaints of those people. It has always been a positive experience. Yes hardware fails and hard drives crash but that is just the nature of running computers systems. Starwest will always be there to help! Great job my friends at Starwest Computers!!!!

I took our computer to StarWest to have it serviced. We had mal-ware ads that popped up on every web-page we brought up and it eventually made it impossible to maintain our Wi-Fi connection to the Internet. StarWest was exceptionally professional and thorough in the way we were treated and in the way the problems were resolved. We thought we may need to replace the Wi-Fi card in the computer to enable us to reconnect to the Internet, but by removing the virus and adding Mal-ware software to prevent this problem from happening again, it resolved the problem of our Internet connection. We will definitely be back. The thing we like about StarWest is that they sell computers for competitive prices and they service them locally. We would not have to call India or some other off-shore service center to help resolve potential problems with the computers. We heartily recommend StarWest - 5 stars!!

StarWest Computers has helped me twice now solve problems that I couldnt figure out on my own. Both times, the fee has been quite reasonable, especially considering that having a functional computer is a necessity and mine was useless to me in the state it was in when I left it in their care. Theyve always been courteous and friendly -- never made me feel foolish for needing their expertise. Its possible that not all of the technicians can fix every problem, but they have enough experience among them to tackle just about any problem. My computer spent about a week in their shop this time, waiting in line for its turn for their attention. Sooner is always better, but I believe "first come, first served" is fair to everyone.

THESE GUYS ARE A-M-A-Z-I-N-G ! i have just recently delt with STARWEST COMPUTERS they took such good care of me and my computer they were very knowledgable and helped me to understand what was wrong with my machine they kept me updated on its progress and took the time to explain the repairs with me i also found them to be VERY competitive with their prices, i would recommend them to anyone in need of repairs or a new computer and GREAT personal service i will DEFINATELY be going back when I need a NEW machine . . .THANK YOU STARWEST ! ! ! !

I walked in the front door with a computer on the fritz...and was immediately helped. Within literally 15 minutes I was out of the door with the problem solved (one of those problems that was impossible for me to figure out - but easy for them). Because it only took them a few minutes, they didnt charge me anything...(who does that?!!!) High recommendations for a business that provides such amazing customer service. I will certainly be going back when I have my next problem.

Im really happy with the quality and service, plus fair prices here. When my laptop was too expensive to repair I bought a new one from them. They loaded all of my files and most of my programs onto the new machine. I have to get Windows 8 but they configured it so it works just like Windows 7. They spend a lot of time talking to me to find the right blend of speed and storage for the price. I love working with people who really know the product and care.

I bought a laptop from Starwest over a year ago and I have really loved that laptop. Anytime there has been a problem which are far and few between STARWEST has been happy to help. Their customer service has really bent over backwards to give me the best product and satisfaction. There are a lot of computer stores around but nothing compares to STARWEST. I will never regret buying from STARWEST! Anyone with doubts go try it out for yourself!

Make sure you get EVERYTHING in very clear writing! Do not take there word on anything. Even with things in writing they will attempt to twist it in there favor. All is well when the sale is being made, however when once the money has changed hands, they become Dr. Jeckyl / Mr. Hyde. Service leaves a lot to be desired. They are very very quick to charge $60 per hour on anything, even if its there fault. Buyer beware!!!

When my computer crashed, I wasnt sure what the best place to take it was. Then one of my coworkers mentioned he goes to StarWest. Man was that the best advice hes ever given me!! They are the best at both professionalism and overall overall caring about customer satisfaction, not to mention their great prices! I will for sure be going to them from now on with any of my future computer needs. Keep up the great work!

I stopped by their Bountiful location today unaware that they had yet to open for business and found the door unlocked with three employees setting up the store to open next week. Despite the fact that they have yet to officially open shop they where willing to answer my questions and help me out. I certainly intend to return if and when I have future need of help and would certainly recommend them to a friend
