These guys are truly great. Knowledgeable, helpful, and very amicable! I would highly recommend, and heres why... After stopping by another computer repair shop in the area that was closer to my house and having a bad experience in regards to price, arrogance of the staff, wait time and more, I decided there was no way I would leave my laptop in their hands. Off to Google maps I went to check out other computer repair shops nearby; little did I know, I would stumble upon extreme micro! I always drove by the place and never thought twice about it, but when I stepped inside Ross was there to greet me nearly every single time. Their willingness to explain the problem in terms I could understand made me feel very welcome, their fast turn around time and modest price made me a loyal customer. Furthermore, after the solder on my power supply jack went bad roughly a month or so later, all I had to do was call them up and it was ready to rock and roll in 3 days! No hassle, no run around, just honest and great service! While inside I also saw the products they sell, and theyre pretty sweet! Next time I need anything remotely related to computers, I know where I am headed first. Couldnt be happier with my experience at Extreme Micro!

Great service! I had a Dell tech replace a couple of failing fans in my laptop. Within minutes after he left, the monitor started flickering and went black. I figured there was a loose connection somewhere. Even after three hours of begging on the phone, the technician refused to come back to check his work and Dell wouldn’t send anyone out for at least another three to four business days, so I took my computer in to ExtremeMicro instead They popped it open and talked about what might have gone wrong. I left it with them at 4 PM, they let me know it would be looked at the next morning and the cost per hour of labor along with how long it would take to order parts if that was necessary. I got lucky, after I left a spot on the bench opened that day, and by 5 PM they’d found the problem (a pinched connector during the fan installation… not surprised at all) and fixed it. They were very clear communicators, friendly and professional, and also saved my own work deadlines by squeezing in the repair so quickly. Definitely coming back to these guys next time I have a problem.

This is my 1st choice goto for 1) assembling components I bought and turning them into a computer, and 2) repairing my computer when something goes wrong like an automatic Windows update. Woke up today to a black screen - computer freaked out during the night and wouldnt boot. Couldnt get it to boot. The guys put it on the incoming table, used their software toolbox on it, and presto, it was booting again just like old times. Best part of all? They said the fix was too easy and therefore, "no charge". They are always very generous with the amount of hours you actually get charged for. If they are multitasking and the wall clock says 4 hrs, good chance, youll only get charged for 1 hour of actual tech time. I completely trust these guys and will return to get my next system built.

In December 2013, my husbands Lenovo laptop screen was smashed while traveling. Extreme Micro ordered a new screen and replaced it within two days. Great service! Then in April 2014, the new screen went black. Called Extreme Micro and they said to bring it in. It was the first time Extreme Micro had a replacement screen "go bad." Lenovo would not send a replacement screen (which was under warranty) until the "bad" screen was sent to the factory. We needed a functioning computer faster than that. Russ ordered a new screen overnight and replaced it at no charge! I paid for the overnight delivery which was worth it. I have found the staff very knowledgeable and helpful on both occasions. Would most definitely use them again.

Great service! Their techs can be a bit on the typical computer nerd side, but thats how you know theyre authentic - not like the dressed up Geek Squad that are just a facade. I brought in my custom computer I built after it was fried from one of the nastier storms this summer after I had exhausted every other diagnostic I could do at home to figure out why it wasnt starting. They spent a good chunk of time checking the system to figre out if it was bad RAM, CPU, or motherboard. They ended up being able to narrow it down to the mobo while I was there, and sent me on my way. Didnt try to upsell me on their services or component shop. I really appreciated them being able to take time to look at my computer on the spot though!

I am the owner of an IT consulting company in the Valley and have been using Extreme Micro exclusively for systems, parts, and components since 2007. I have previously used other local companies for these items and have been let down by those other companies. Not so with these guys. They are PROS. Excellent customer service, quality products, honest, reliable, dependable...I cant say enough about them. They bend over backwards to make sure their customers are satisfied, and we are. I continually run into other IT consultants in there all the time, and if us nerds shop there with smiles on our faces, they must be doing something right! Dont waste your time going elsewhere...these guys are all you will need!

The people at Extreme Micro are extraordinary and I highly recommend them !!! As busy as my schedule is, I felt compelled to write a review about extreme micro, because of the extra ordinary level of service that they provided me. I took a computer to them with tons of personal pictures on it. They tried for three days straight to retrieve the pictures through multiple methods and they were succesful. We hit a snag at the end and I was not able to get a corporate password from my company and even though it was my fault, they did not charge me anything because they could not retrieve my pictures. NOBODY ELSE GOES THAT FAR to provide a service. I will go to them for all my computer needs going forward.

Seriously love these guys. So honest and trust worthy. They helped me with an easy, inexpensive solution when all my USB ports on my Lenovo laptop were failing. A few months later I went in because my friend gave me his 2011 Macbook Pro that the screen had stopped working on a few years back some months after he dropped it. Had literally been used as a paperweight. Even after it seemed that surely it would be destined as a desktop with an external monitor, Dave, their in house apple wizard, came up with a creative solution and got the thing running again! I would, and will, continue to come in here for any and all computer issues that I run into in the future. Cant recommend these guys enough, honestly.

I have taken my computer here twice, once for a keyboard issue and once for a cleaning. Not only are their prices outrageous but they give you the run around and their target day for when my things would be done was passed by 2 weeks BOTH times. I COULDNT believe that they did the same thing the 2nd time. They will lie to your face and then blame it on the shipping companies. They have 0 professional integrity and they should take business classes. They also claimed that they couldnt get to my computer because they got less work done one week because windows 7 came out......are you serious? I dont care if it takes 2 weeks, just dont tell me 2 days, tell me 2 weeks!!!
