I have purchased 3 computers from Superior. The first computer lasted me for 4 years with-out a glitch or hardware failure. The second was a laptop. 2 years and still running strong! The 3rd computer I purchased was a nightmare! The Techs could NOT figure out what was wrong with it. So after months of trials, failures and frustration, I asked them to build me a new one. They did build me a new comp free of charge but was only happy with it to a point, the hardware was not what I wanted/requested, and a month later it had a hardware failure. I have built computers in the past and I know my hardware and most of the signs of certain hardware failures. This one pointed to the MOBO and I asked them to check it out, but I dont think the Techs took me serious! A few weeks later I picked up my comp, they told me they replaced a bad RAM stick and it was running fine. I got home, plugged it in and the damn thing kept doing the same thing it was doing before! I dont even think they looked at it! I became fed up and decided to order a new MOBO, CPU and RAM and told them to send the old MOBO in to be fixed. I cant tell you exactly how long it took to get the new gear in, but I can tell you that it was longer than a month. They never called me about the MOBO that was sent back. I had called about it several times they keep telling me that it has not arrived from the manufacturer, then about four months later it was found in one of their other stores! How long was its sitting there? They used to have great customer service! But as of late the feeling is they are willing to work with you, but dont really give two flips and a flop about you. They just seem to do what they need to do to get you off their backs and out of their store. I dont think I will be doing business with this company again but then again they are far better than the pirates at PC Laptops. Advice to Superior: If you are so damn busy, hire more competent techs and bring back your great customer service!

Superior computers is where I go every time I get my laptop repaired. Although they may take long, its understandable. Their quality is great, depending on who you talk to, and they will help you out (for a price of course), and build along with you. I first had this experience when I went to the Syracuse store. I had some plans to build a desktop computer, and they were amazed. I chose all the right parts, and they said they would order them for me. My dad asked if I could build with them, and they said yes for about 25$. Considering it was about 1,250$ in parts, 25$ is pretty cheap. When I worked with them, they showed me how kind they were. No matter what store I go to, they are great (Although I have only been to the Ogden store and Syracuse store). They help me out every time I have a problem. Questions about parts? Just walk in and ask a few questions, and theyll help you out. There are some downsides though, the main one being price, the second one being time. The amount of time it takes for some things is kind of long. I have a power jack on my laptop that needed fixing. I brought it in three weeks ago and it still hasnt come back. I dont understand how, unless you solder it wrong or something, it can fry the motherboard. The prices are kind of bad, but mainly when it comes to just looking. 25-50$ just for opening the computer? I understand you guys need money, and I dont manage the buisness myself, but come on! Oh well, this place really beats calling customer service, Ill tell you that. Theyre great, and every computer Ive brought to them has actually been fixed, over time.

They offer lifetime support but in reality all they will do is wipe your computer without consent and only load half your programs. They are dishonest and rude. I have never seen such an unprofessional way to run a business. I took my computer in to get tuned up and they somehow ruined my CPU. They said I took off my CPU and wiped off the cooling grease then put it back on... They probably forgot to put it on when I bought it and wont admit it. I had to buy a whole new motherboard from them for about 200 dollars. Nothing was wrong with my CPU until they looked at it. They are not rated by the BBB. They have no reason to treat you better. They wiped my computer without consent and now I have to re-buy Microsoft word for $140. I wrote them and they accused me of stealing it, then continued on like a child trying to blame anyone but themselves. Their computers are over priced and their service is horrible. Now a year later they voided my warrenty and wont fix any of my computers because I wrote this rewiew, that isnt even legal... a company cant void a warrenty because of review. They can try and sue if it was false but it is not...

I have many computers I got them all before I found out about Superior Computers. I have updated parts in all of my machines one desktop and one laptop and even some family members computers. I can honestly say that because of the quality of the parts they use and the service they provide I will never go anywhere else. Chad and the guys at all the superior locations will give you the best every time guaranteed. I know this because you get a fair price on parts and labor no gimmicks or tricks. They always have some sort of special going on through Facebook. So even if you are like me and didnt buy from them the first time, they might have a coupon to help you out of a tight spot. When my machines finally go down... Im going to superior where its more than just a name... Its a fact..

IF I could give 0 stars I would. My laptop screen broke so they repaired it under warranty. The screen broke again because they used electric tape to hold the connection together! When he went to plug it back in, they fried the motherboard and the screen so they had to order both parts! They had it over a month and replaced the screen with some crappy off brand screen that has a terrible viewing angle!!! They never called to tell me when I would get it, they actually said every week I would get it next week and I actually had to ask for a call when the parts came in. This is a crap repair and a crap company. Theyve totally devalued my laptop. AVOID REPAIRS HERE...worthless, I shouldve just done it myself. At least I wouldnt have fried the motherboard.

I am always trying to find better deals but I keep cming back to Superior computers. I upgraded the hard drive in my PS 3. I did a lot of research about what hard drive I needed and how much it would cost. They came in with the best price for the exact drive I needed. They also showed me how to turn my old PS 3 drive into an external hard drive. Sure you can find better prices elsewhere but you dont get the same quality. They dont sell poorly made hardware. On top of that, if you buy something that does not work, they have a good return policy or they are good about fixing it. I dont think I will be going anywhere else for a while.
