It was very stressful at first when we needed to look for a general contractor to build our new office. We are blessed as we have found Cook Builders online. Not only is the project done, but Nate Cook has made it a very pleasant experience for both of us. Nate would meet with us weekly plus anytime upon demand. He was attentive to our needs and to the details of the construction. He would give his true opinions and shared his expertise in the entire construction process. We also found all of Nate Cooks subcontractors very professional (e.g. cabinetry, flooring, electricians, plumbers...) . In summary, the whole team at Cook Builders is made up of decent and very honest people. They provided quality work as well. We were able to relax and just waited for the jobs to finish in a timely manner; even though the project called for more than 6 months of waiting, it went by fast! We had 8 general contractors to bid our project, and Cook Builders fell into 1 of the 3 lowest. P.S. Nate Cook never ask us to write a review for his company (maybe he realizes that we are overwhelmed with our move. :)). However, I decided to do this because we feel that there might be people like us before--stressing out in searching for a contractor... Hopefully, the information can be helpful.

I have known Cook Builders for many years and have always received honest feedback and great advice which always saves me time and money on projects like building homes, basements, decks, landscaping, etc, They have always been willing to go the extra mile to help out. They will make sure the job is done right! What I like most is their easy going and honest approach to doing business, that really helps me trust they will do what they say will do! I just call them and talk to them like a friend and take care of things.

This contractor has not paid for a floor installation job in over a month. Has excuse after excuse and will not return phone calls even when a voicemail has been left. He has taken the draw from the bank months ago for the job and still no payment. At the start of the job refused and argued over the amount of the deposit and still gave a check for much lower than the amount of the deposit even though he had taken the draw already. Please get references and a signed contract for this company.

I havent had work Done by them. However I have done work with them. I have worked with their web guy, and provided services for their site. Just from talking to them they seem like really stand up people. Always honest, always paid on time. all in all, great company to work with. I hope to work with them in the future.
