When the home builders put up my basement insulation 9 years ago, little did I know, they ran a nail right through my main water line...fast forward to yesterday, the nail had finally rusted enough to allow water to spray out and flood my basement. Im really good at turning the water off but not very good at splicing new line in. I was at the mercy of Speirs and they delivered. In just 2 short hours after calling, Clay came out and had the line repaired in about 10 minutes. He even rebuilt a leaky hose bib on the outside of my house since he was out. Best part and the reason I feel compelled to write a review is that I was not taken advantage of. I have 3 kids and need running water. I was clearly not in the power position and easily could have been charged an arm and a leg but was not. Clay was very professional and understanding and I only paid for the repair that was needed, not some insane markup due to my situation. That level of integrity is what turns people into life long customers. THANK YOU!

Did the work, super friendly, no complaints there. Just make sure you get a WRITTEN estimate or quote because once they bill you they will NOT honor any verbal estimates. This wasnt your normal clogged drain job, it required a mini excavator and some real work so I was apprehensive and wanted to get a quote in case I needed to shop around. I had to ask 3x for a ballpark quote and once I got it, I approved the work to begin. Then a week later when I got the bill it was 33% more than the TOP END of the quote. I understand that things happen, but there was no communication or warning that we needed to readjust the quote or expectations. Also I had no paperwork to prove what they quoted me, so I guess in the end it was all my fault for not covering my ass. Either way it was bad business and I will go elsewhere from now on.

Experienced a large water leak at my small senior housing complex in Salt Lake. After dealing with a crappy, well known plumbing company with no results on a Saturday, I called Speirs Plumbing. Left a message, but wasnt really expecting anything to be available until at least Tuesday. Richard was at my office MONDAY MORNING shortly after receiving a call from their lovely office gal, ready to dive in! He had my water line fixed and running in an hour! I will never, ever schedule with another plumbing company for my home and office needs. They have gone above and beyond for me multiple times in the past 6 months. (Should have just called them in the first place, hindsight). Between the office staff and the guys on the road, this is one fantastic company.

Ive had two experiences with this company professionally and they both have been great. The first time the plumber tried to save me money and it didnt work, so he did it the hard way and I wasnt charged for the time he put in trying to fix it the easy way to save me money. Second time I was told it was going to be a few days, they showed up the next day and fixed everything perfectly for a reasonable price. Few companies have this kind of integrity anymore and Ill definitely be using this company in the future.

They arent one of those one-size-fits-all service companies that will try to sell you everything under the moon while theyre there. Give them a try, you wont be disappointed!

I had to get my water heater replaced last week. After calling to a few different places, Speirs was the best price. The plumber was knowledgeable and quick. He didnt try to "up-sell" me or find "other problems" like other companies have tried to do to me in the past. I will definitely use Speirs again and would recommend them to anyone.

These guys are fast and fair. I have had other companies do drain cleaning for me a they always charged much more than seemed fair. Speirs Plumbing is honest and very fair on price. The tech really understood plumbing and had years of experience. I wouldnt go with one of the largest companies ever again.
