Update: I had to replace my 30-year-old furnace. This company knocked it out of the park. Josh and Tex totally reworked the layout, re-piped and refitted all my lines, and basically eliminated any stress I have over my home. Its gone. This newly retired Army guy can rest easy tonight. Josh also hooked me up with a nice service plan so theyre going to come out twice a year to check on things, do tune-ups, whatever. Im so happy I went with this company again. Original review: I recently purchased a 107-year-old house that had obvious plumbing issues. I contacted Friendly Plumber to have a kitchen sink snaked since water and detritus wasn’t draining. They sent out a master plumber named Justin who not only solved the issue quickly, but also did a courtesy inspection of our entire plumbing infrastructure. The thing I appreciated about Justin was he took the time to explain in detail the history of our old plumbing, and why people used the material they did when it was installed. He proceeded to educate me on current municipal codes, pipe sizing, material, and why he recommended a replacement for our system. He was so matter of fact, and at no time did I feel he was pushing a sales job I felt he was being up front and honest. I thought he expressed genuine interest in his profession and what a replacement system would do for us. About a month later when I was cleaning the area around my furnace and water heater I noticed new corrosion around a couple of joints. My spouse and I were worried about a catastrophic failure heading into the winter. I didn’t even think twice about my next step. I contacted Friendly Plumber and requested Justin by name. He was at our home within the hour. I decided to go with a complete system replacement starting from the city main line. It was a huge project which he managed expertly. His crew was comprised of a journeyman named Paul, two apprentices named Mike and Brett, and crewman named Jeremy. Paul was the consummate professional patiently answering all my questions about the project, and explaining in detail problems he encountered and measures he was taking to ensure we got the best products emplaced available. He identified a previously installed sewer line that was literally upside down; had he not cared about what he was doing that could’ve been disastrous for us. He even showed my wife and me the old lines which were oxidized and filled with hardened sediment. I honestly felt the lines could’ve burst in the near future had we not replaced them. Anyway, I never felt at any time Paul was going to shortcut me. Mike and Brett were awesome. They were affable and at every step of the way if they identified a deficiency they would talk to me, explain in detail the problem, and discuss with me what the best solution would be. Mike even went as far as replacing my kitchen sink faucet, which wasn’t in the contract, simply because he spotted a leak originating from the seal near the handle. He just wanted to ensure I got the best he had to offer, and I feel like he delivered. Mike and Brett may be apprentices, but frankly they’re operating at a professional level. Finally, Jeremy was great at being their go-to guy. I didn’t interact with him much, but from what I observed he was the consummate teammate, and pitched in without complaint. He had excellent composure for a young man on a hard job. I cannot express strongly enough my gratitude to these guys. The peace of mind I have now far outweighs the cost of this project (which I think was reasonable). Thanks again Justin, Mike, Brett, and Jeremy for a job well done. Friendly Plumber is lucky to have you.

My husband and I are simply blown away with the service we received from Friendly. We returned to our home in Park City at midnight after a weeklong trip to Michigan for my father-in-law’s funeral to find our 19 year old furnace wasn’t working. I called Friendly first thing in the morning and they sent Jarom out at 11:00 am, just as they promised. After a short inspection he showed us exactly what was wrong with the furnace and unfortunately it was the most expensive part that could possibly bust. Since it was a builder’s grade furnace that had pretty much reached its expiration date we decided to replace it. Jarom took measurements of the house to determine what size furnace we would need, walked us through all of the grades of the Coleman furnaces they carry and explained the differences in great detail. Still, we wanted to do some additional research on the internet before making a decision and a told him we would contact him within an hour. After reviewing all the pros and cons and reading customers evaluations we called Jarom to tell him we had decided on the Coleman 96% 2 stage variable and April Air steam humidifier to replace an old Nortec model we’d had. He said he’d have the equipment delivered that afternoon and said he would try to get a crew to install it later that same evening after completing another job in Park City. He called later to confirm they could. Jarom, Justin and Josh showed up around 7:00 and were done with the furnace installation around 10:00 pm. We had agreed to have them return 3 days later at 8:00 am to install the humidifier, which they did. And they didn’t run our credit card for the entire installation until after the humidifier was also installed. In summary: the crew was extremely knowledgeable, efficient, polite - and clean! They totally cleaned up everything after completing the work. We had previously used Friendly for some tricky plumbing work and were equally impressed with the work and crew. I would not hesitate to recommend them.

What can I say about friendly plumbers? They are just that, friendly. Brady and Wes felt more like friends which I think is a great quality for a company to have. I also felt like they were an advocate when our homeowners insurance adjuster was telling me things he had no training in and had no business discussing with me. They confronted the insurance adjuster which was a little awkward but definitely appreciated. I felt like they were genuinely concerned and a true advocate for me. The adjuster asked to look at the invoice for the plumber and continuously said "wow that seems like a lot, doesnt that seem like a lot to you?" This was not only inappropriate and none of his business but also irrelevant since the plumbers had already begun their work. Brady and Wes offered to stop working so I could get a second opinion. I declined this offer because aint no body got time for that! I trusted that they were charging me a fair price. We also had Jarom come out and take a look at our furnace which surprise! More bad news... when it rains it pours right? He discovered same major issues with the furnace and legally had to shut her down! Soon we could have carbon monoxide leaking thought our whole house and with two little girls running around my house, That is not something I want to mess with! We do not have the money for a new furnace on top of the pluming we just had done and when I told Jarom I was just going to reach out to Ellen he said "whos Ellen?" WHAT??!!! Bless his little heart. <3 We have been hoping for the best with the weather but so far it has not been on our side. Winter is coming... (snow on Sunday) We have space heaters in our rooms keeping us warm at night. We have set up a GoFundMe if yall are in the giving mood hit me up ;) All in all I have been pleased with the staff at friendly plumbers. The only thing negative I can say is they forgot to clean up some of their messes but my house was an absolute pig sty so Ill let it slide.
