I called Triple A to give me a bid on a flood job for a basement where a pipe broke. I had previously owned a carpet and restoration company for almost 18 years and sold it a couple of years ago, so I knew exactly what equipment was needed and for how long. The young man who came was cocky and initially treated me like I was a run of the mill consumer until I schooled him on what needed to be done and how long it should take. Long story short, he said I needed 52 air movers, multiple dehumidifiers, 3 E TES units and other equipment for a week to two weeks to dry the floor! Not only did a job of less than 1,000 square feet total not call for an insane amount of 52 air movers, but I have personally dried jobs 500-800 square feet larger with less than 10 air movers and a couple of E Tes units in 24-36 hours max! They tried to say the equipment rental alone would be over $4,000! I can buy 40 air movers for that! At any rate, I told them to hit the road. Not only that, they only do a surface drying, instead of a carpet float with something like E TES which can dry the carpet in many cases in 24 hours if the water is extracted properly prior to drying, which in turn also minimizes additional secondary damage from extended moisture remaining. They clearly COMPLETELY overcharge their customers for way more equipment than they need, because equipment rental costs them almost nothing at all after the initial purchase. So it is HUGE margins... My suggestion to all other consumers: Get multiple bids (at least 3) before moving forward with work with any restoration company. ESPECIALLY if paying out of pocket. I called another company and they recommended 12 air movers. What is the huge discrepancy? Either uneducated adjusters and bidders here, or greed on the part of the company, or both! But buyer beware...

GHETTO classroom. The folding chairs are painful to sit on for longer than 20 minutes. The table is flimsy and shakes with every little movement. The books that are on loan to the students are molded. Equipment is old and falling apart. The only mannequin we have used has a leg is not attached, her mouth is torn and so it has been tapped closed. The sheets for the beds have rips on the seams or are too small. Oxygen tubing is old and the style is not in use any longer. Linda is a terrible instructor. We either read quietly to ourselves from the book for hours while she does whatever on the computer or we watched outdated CNA/Police/Firefighter/factory movies from the 80s and 90s. She did not explain procedures such as how to take a BP. Instead she told us to start taking vitals and expected everyone to just know how to do it. She is rude and condescending. When ever someone does something wrong she yells at them or belittles them for not knowing what they are doing. However if she would show or explain how to do it, perhaps it would not be done wrong. She did not explain how to use a gate belt, just that we need to use one. She brags constantly about how quickly she can do something or how well she does something but never shows us how to do it. She is horrible! 20 students and each paid $350.00. That is $7000.00 income for just one class. Why then can they not afford to update their equipment and provide sturdy tables and more comfortable chairs?

I would not recommend AAA. All they care about is money, not customer satisfaction. They contracted out the work, squeezed the contractors for the best price, and we got shafted. It was a nightmare. The job involved fixing a broken pipe, removing cabinets, replacing a hardwood floor, and reinstalling cabinets. Insulation was wrong size for wall. The hardwood floor joints have uneven gaps. The cabinet guys used screws so long they went all the way through to the finished side. To top it off they overcharged us and charged us for work they didnt do. In the end the job was over $20,000 and we paid them for the work they did. When it came time to settle up, they billed us for $5,000 and wanted to be paid within the week or they would send us to collections even though our account was current. In the end, they acknowledged we were only in dispute for $600 and sent us to collections without reviewing the charges with us. Owner employees VERY RUDE Avoid AAA save yourself a nightmare.

Thank you, thank you, thank you! Ive called AAA restoration multiple times with my sugar house home for a variety of problems that have occurred while being here, the biggest and most horrific is when my house flooded. I was terrified of how much damage it had done to my home. But the staff at AAA has a fabulous way of putting my concerns at ease. They sent out the best guys to work on my home and made me feel involved throughout the process. Not only did they bust their backs for me but it was done faster than I could have imagined. The prices I was quoted for the water damage was GREAT, never did I feel that it was greener on the other side. AAA restoration does it all folks and if you want a professional, hardworking, organized company helping you with your flood then call them! No questions asked, kudos and a HUGE THANKS for being a helping hand in an awful situation!

AAA Restoration has been cleaning our home for years. I have always been pleased not only by the service given by AAA Restoration, but also that I can call at any time and they will have someone taking care of me as soon as possible, even if I do not have an emergency. Their Carpet Techs are awesome! After they have finished cleaning my carpets, I love my house again. I have also used AAA Restoration when I had a flood due to a water line busting, while I was out of town! you could not imagine how much water had entered my home. These guys held my hand thru the entire process. It was so nice knowing that these guys are trustworthy and honest, Thanks to them they saved all of my family pictures. We could not have been treated more professional and the service was outstanding. I would highly recommend AAA Restoration. Thank You!

If you are not sure if you are responsible to pay them, DO NOT USE THEM!! Our condo was flooded by our HOA sprinklers. Before I even let the guys in the door, I told them we are not paying. They said that it should be the HOA who pays for it. Well our greedy HOA didnt help us at all. The workers were nice and easy to work with (maybe thats how they get you). Dallas was cool. BUT one day they called me and started talking very rude to me like I had been evading their bill for two months. What the heck?! We still thought they were working with the HOA! They started threatening me with collections and all this stuff! THIS WAS ONLY THE FIRST TIME THEY HAD CALLED ME ABOUT BILLING! They talked to me like I was trying to con them out of money. We paid them as quick as we could and said good riddance!

Waking up to find your basement is covered in 2 inches of water is not my idea of a start of a good day. We immediately called AAA Restoration to see what they could do. Their customer service representative, Shaunna, was assuring and polite and said she would get someone out right away. When she said right away, I had no idea that the technicians would get here in only 45 minutes. The techs, Dallas and Kafusis (spelling?), were very professional, polite and QUICK. A day after the flooding I can not see any damage to our walls or floors. I have no reservations giving them this well earned 5 and would recommend them to all my friends. They were EXTREMELY respectful to my wife and 19 year old daughter. Jeff West Jordan
