I WILL NEVER EVER GO BACK, DO NOT GO HERE! I went to the school two weeks ago for a hair cut, and its so choppy and uneven. I wanted a bob and its just a mess. I figured maybe if I got it colored it would make it better. I showed them a picture with blonde streaks. They said it was an ombre and continued as such when I told the girl I didnt want it briaged or whatever its called. She did an ombre, and it turned out orange, and she missed a whole section of my hair, and I have never been this upset in my life. The pictures are posted on their facebook page. I paid $51.00 and walked out screaming of sadness because I looked like a five year old went crazy with scissors and bleach on my head. They made me pay full, and told me to come back the next day to fix it. I couldnt go back there. I went straight to a store and dyed my own hair because I couldnt go around like that. I cant believe they left me like that. I didnt get a sorry, nothing. They said it looked just like the picture. I called the line to complain and no response. WORSE hair salon IN THE NATION! I had Nikky and she did a wonderful job on my hair. She had Phil as her learning leader and he was so helpful. I had just past shoulder blade length hair when I arrived, when I left, I had a mid-length pixie cut, just like I wanted, had my hair colored (its so gray and Im in my early 30s) and a hot pink streak in the front, just something fun. She was wonderful with color and so easy to get along with, I found her to be hilarious and very easy to talk to and I am normally very quiet and we were laughing and teasing each other the whole time. I got this done January 10th and cant wait to go back at my 6 week mark this weekend. I may be going shorter! The appointment was a little on the long side (about 5 hours from start to finish) but I barely noticed and only because after a couple of hours my husband starts calling me going "are you on your way home yet?" I am also not one of those people that freaks out about hair, I kept telling her when shed get a little nervous, its just hair, it will grow back if something happens. Nothing did, I love my new do and I <3 Nikky!

Worst experience ever!! Asked for simple blow out of my natural curly hair, two+ hours later and 6 applications of product my hair was a giant frizzy mess. No instructor ever came to tell her what she was doing wrong, using wrong brush was #1, no communication and then was asked "is that what you want" NO...then the girl starts in with more product and hot flat iron, she still left kinky frizz underneath the totally stick straight flat ironing! I know Paul Mitchell does blow outs I saw it flash by on the giant TV screens multiple times! The music was LOUD glaring techno, flashing screens and 2 hrs of watching other "students" goofing around and hearing their personal conversations..it was a sensory overload! The student frizzing/damaging my hair told me she was ready to graduate and kept trying to sell me PM products to fund a trip for her. I understood going in they are students BUT I have gone to a different school/student salon in town and got a beautiful full bouncy smooth blow out in 40 minutes from wash to finish.

I just want to let PMTS know what an amazing experience I had today. You see I am on some pretty icky medicine and it has started to take its tole on my hair. This morning I woke up to find a couple of handfuls of hair on my pillow. While showering I noticed even more coming out as I washed it. I contemplated most of the day and decided to come in to just have it all shaved off. When I came in my 11 yr old and I were greeted and I explained why I was there. We had a seat to wait for our stylist (my son shaved his head too). Then out came Ms. Tanis. This young lady showed me such care and compassion. I cant even begin to tell yall what a difference it made in my life today. I closed my eyes the entire time, she constantly spoke to me and gently touched my shoulder to let me know it was all going to be ok. Then she did my makeup. I felt like a movie star. The staff and students at PMTS are top notch!! Thank you Tanis, AJ, the stylist that did my sons hair and Lacie. YALL ROCK!!!

Love this place never had a bad experience always get tons of compliments on thier awesome work on my hairstyles and the price is so RIGHT love this place cant say enough good things about it!! I truly appreciate the wonderfully tallented individuals at this place I tell literally EVERYONE I know to come here. Im from southern California and have had my hair done at everywhere from schools to expensive salons and out of everywhere Ive ever been this ones the very BEST in the industry (this includes ones Ive visited in Hollywood, Las Angeles as well) and Baltimore Maryland. This place is friendly professional and everyone here just oozes artistry and talent...im totally surprised its not somewhere else like New York its THAT GOOD keep up the great job and I will MOST DEFINITELY BE RETURNING : D

I have been here several times, the girls have always done a fantastic job. I made the mistake of going to another salon and the lady ruined my hair or so I thought, I went to the school yesterday for an all over bleach, knowing it probably wouldnt come out how I expected (since I had red in my hair last) however I was given jaden as my stylist and between her having the patience to bleach my hair then go back and color it to her staying after the time she was supposed to just to make sure I was taken care of. Then the service leader I think theyre called I have always had maddie come over and I have learned to trust her very much. She has not let me down, I will continue to go to the school from now on. Thank you all for doing an amazing job on my hair!

Ive been getting my hair done here for years, Ive paid insane prices at high end salons but some of the best haircuts Ive had to date have come from students at this salon. The only reason Im giving these guys four stars is due to a learning leader named Donna, do yourself a favor and do not let her anywhere near your hair. She absolutely butchered my hair. Almost six inches cut off when all I wanted was some face framing layers and a little more volume up top. I had "layers" that she had cut that looked like steps. On top of that she was very deceitful and curled my hair so I didnt notice the mistake she had made until I straightened it a week later. I went in today and had an awesome student named Melody fix it and it looks amazing now thanks to her!!
