the first time i tried to go to initial appointment I was treated very poorly by one of the onsite managers there called scott, I was going through marrital issues and a lot of stress financially and I had to keep canceling because frankly it was a bad time in our life to be talking about it. The representative manager who set up the appointment called me again to ask why i was making excuses! And i tried to give a vague explanation that it was bad timing in our life. THen he was rude and unprofessional to try and accuse me of saying i was making excuses trying to not go and i was prejudging them. I was really offended by his unpprofessional approach in my personal life. I told him nevemind i was not interested in there stupid program. But they still gave me my free 3dyhotel stay. they didnt require anything. i told them no cuz i just didnt want to bother with them. But then a couple months later, the quality people called and asked why i hadnt yet received my free gift. I told them of my bad experience and they apologized and tried to make it up to me with more free gifts. I told them i would give them another chance for the extra gift. So me and my husband went up hesitantly to listen to there promo. And it turned out it was okay and it seemed like an amazing deal. 159 a trip and for optional 385 for only years you go. It is a sweet deal. So we took them up on there offer since we are major savvy discount shoppers and we know how much most things cost at discounted value already. they didnt pressure, and there is no red tape of impossibility and NO they didnt require you to buy a certain number of anything in a year. whoever wrote that review is mistaken with the details or is thinkin of a different program. this isnt a timeshare, its better. I like how there is no pressure to buy, they help you out with any questions and they dont require all this surprise cash it is how they say. I like that you can go whenever you want where ever you want. And i dont pay the yearly fee twice and i dont pay unless i wanna go on vacation that year. So its all up to me. So in the end, everyone at the slc offic was friendly, funny and it did take forever for them to get the point but i think this is a good deal, so try to be forgiving of rude, forward, unprofessional men on the phone cuz once you get to know them, they treat you like family....still holding a grudge on scott though.. Ill be back to write a review on the product if it actually works all there discount hotlines and cruises and stuff!

Sounds like we may have been there very close to the same time as Esquire (the other person who rated this on Apr 5) as we attended a presentation at the end of March. We heard about it at the Utah state fair this past summer and went in to attend the presentation in order to get the "free trip" for attending the presentation. They do give you a week long stay at a condo, but they actually do not give you the trip out of "their inventory" as they say. Once you get the "free trip" they give you a little pamplet that is from "TimeOutVacations", we had some issues with when we were planning on using the trip so we contacted TimeOutVacations in order to try and figure it all out. We were told that Time Out Vacations was part of GTN, but it is actually CGI, which we found out after the fact. The problem with their "free trip" is that there are tons of hoops to jump through and you are only able to go on the trip during "non-peak" times. Anyway, the guy that presented knows how to sell and did his sales pitch very well and I can see why people fall for it and buy. Also after the 90 minute presentation you are taken into a room with your "individual sales consultant". They do all they can to get you to sign up there (dropping the price, adding perks, etc.). What they offer may be great for some people but for most it is way too expensive and illogical. Also, if you really want to purchase something like this, check on the internet to see if anyone is selling their membership. After I went to the presentation I was curious and looked around and found a few people selling their $5k-$10k membership for around a thousand dollars. Just like you can find timeshares for pennies on the dollar you can find these memberships as well.

We sat through presentation nearly 2 years ago. We had to turn them down because the timing to make such a large purchase was not right for our family situation. They promised us a vacation at one of THEIR resorts as a result of coming in. We started receiving paper work from a Casablanca Express (3rd party trip organizer...) We paid the necessary tax and a small deposit. They sent us 3-4 forms that we had to fill out and quickly return or everything would be voided. We jumped through all of the hoops and finally had plans to leave to New York. We were excited and purchased tickets to see a Broadway and made other such plans... It would be a 3 day trip. (Tuesday- Thursday). They called us today to finalize our itinerary. They said we would be leaving late in the evening on Tuesday and would return EARLY in the morning on Thursday. The best part is that they booked us into an ECONOLODGE (in the Bronx)..... It blew my mind. That is NOT what was explained to us in the presentation. They then offered us an "upgrade" if we wanted to pay another $600.... or they could refund us any money we had sent them and not go on the trip. Absolute joke!! I have a call into Global Travel Network who are trying to rectify this. If they can hold true to what was explained to us, I may be willing to update this post... Update- They worked with us and paid for the upgrade which included a little nicer hotel in Manhattan, and better flights so we no have 2 full days in New York. Im still disappointed in them misrepresenting the trip in the presentation. If we had known that it would be an "Economy Trip".

I just got done with my second week with global I have been a member since December of 2015. I noticed that the bad reviews on Google for this company are all from people who didnt even buy the product. I wanted to make this review to let people know that this is a great product if you buy it and use it. When we went to the presentation we were skeptical as everyone is. There was a lady named CJ who gave us her personal cell number and made herself available anytime to answer questions and to make sure our experience was enjoyable and worthwhile. I felt comfortable and I did not feel pressured which is very different from other presentations I had been to in the past. Our first week was at grandview in Las Vegas and we were treated great, the condo was great, and amenities were awesome. Even though we dont own at grandview the staff there treated us like we did. Our second week was in Lake tahoe at heavenly summit village. Again the front desk people welcomed us warmly and treated us like we were direct owners even though they knew we were not. If you travel a lot and especially if you have kids or a large family this product is a no brainer. We are currently looking into spending new years eve week in Fiji or in Colorado, both of which we have already confirmed are available for us to book.
