Diverse Diva Weddings and Events

I absolutely adore working with LUX Catering and Events! They are an incredible catering company to work with. Kelly, Christopher and the rest of the team are so friendly and professional. They are creative and willing to go off the beaten path to create what their clients envision. Also, as a fairly new wedding planner in the market, Christopher has taken me under his wing to help my company grow. He has given advice, introduced me to other vendors and offered to let me shadow them for an evening to get a better sense of what they do and how they work. I took advantage of that opportunity and man!! They work hard! They are also extremely efficient, professional and very well organized. They understand it takes a village to plan and execute a successful event and their willingness to collaborate and partner with other vendors is commendable. I am in awe with how environmentally conscious they are. From utilizing clean energy to the point where their buildings leave virtually no carbon footprint, to using compostable disposable plates and utensils, to sourcing local, organic ingredients as much as possible and composting all their waste for other businesses to use...I am impressed at their commitment to the environment. On a personal note, when my mother passed and we needed to plan the wake. I wasnt able to think straight and I asked Christopher if LUX could help. The event was mere days away, and he planned the menu, and decor for me. His team setup everything for us and we didnt have lift a finger and could spend time with our friends and family. He really did come to my rescue, for which Im eternally grateful! Of course, I would be remiss if I didnt mention their food and presentation which is delicious and impeccable. Those meatballs! That artichoke dip! Oh man, now Im hungry. Their food is absolutely on point and their versatility of style and cuisine is unparalleled. I cant recommend LUX enough! They are amazing!

I had my wedding designed, coordinated, planned and catered by LUX Catering & Events and to put it simply, they delivered a dream wedding for my spouse and I! From beginning to end, the whole process was easy, straightforward, enjoyable, and perfect. They truly understood our wedding theme and vision, took our ideas and made them even better and more beautiful than my husband or I could ever create. When we saw our venue the morning of the wedding completely set up and decorated with flowers absolutely everywhere it was literally like stepping into a dream! Our coordinator was Kelsey and she kept a meticulous eye on details, timeline, etc. The bridal party, including the bride and groom had practically no worries! This isnt even including the food!! The food was absolutely to die for! It was definitely the best meal of my life (so far). The dessert (white chocolate globes filled with raspberry and rose mousse with sponge cake) was the best dessert of my life! Everyone kept commenting all night about what a dream wedding it was and we are STILL getting comments about what an exquisite wedding it was, even from complete strangers. LUX made everything so lovely and easy for my husband and I and our families - it will forever remain in my mind as the dreamiest day of my life, thanks in large part to the expert help of the team at LUX Catering & Events. I wish I could relive the day over and over again. Thank you Kelsey, Chris, Don and the rest of the amazing team at LUX Catering & Events for creating mine and my husbands dream wedding, we will never be able to truly thank you enough!

We have used Le Croissant many times over the years and have found them to be reliable, creative, easy to work with and willing to go above and beyond. Our most recent event was a four-hour reception that had approximately 1,800 guests. This event went from idea to fruition in just 11 days. At no time did anyone at Le Croissant hesitate to step up. When our event planner declined to complete the event, Christopher Sanchez at Le Croissant stepped in and became our event planner, arranging floral, furniture, and layout, not to mention the six-foot-tall wedding cake as the centerpiece of the event. He went so far as to find lighting to make the cake glow so guests would notice it from the moment they stepped through the door. Le Croissant brought the perfect amount of food. We had many, many people complement the food and how much was available. When we were promised street tacos, we expected a tablespoon of meat on a 3-inch tortilla. What we got was a healthy ladleful of pork that melted in your mouth. The food has always been delicious and extremely creatively presented. The team knows “wow factor,” making each event we’ve worked together on a true experiential success. I heartily recommend Le Croissant without hesitation.

I cant even begin to explain how wonderful our experience was working with LUX Catering. I had been working with another caterer prior to finding LUX and every interaction I had with that caterer left me feeling awful. The other caterer was terribly rude to me and I was really down trodden about being able to find a good caterer on such short notice! At the last minute (literally like a month before the wedding), we were able to find LUX and the weight was lifted from our shoulders! First impressions are everything, so when I walked up to our first meeting and they had a welcome sign addressed to me and my family, I was beyond ecstatic! We worked with Kelsey G. in preparation for our wedding and with every meeting attended and email sent, she assured us that we would have everything we wanted while staying within our budget as well. Kelsey really listened to what we wanted and was able to create the perfect menu for us. On the day of our wedding, everything was absolutely perfect from the food to the service! The whole LUX staff was so friendly and they really helped to make our wedding day perfect and memorable! I would choose LUX as a caterer over and over again after having such an amazing experience.

Overall very unimpressed with our whole experience with LUX catering. The planning was chaotic and unorganized and the day of our wedding was even worse. Our tasting was perfect, however the execution at our wedding was nowhere near the same plating or quality. One of our appetizers (street tacos) which at our tasting were sitting on a lime wedge and closed with a closepin. At the wedding the tortillas were dried out and laying flat on a tray, no lime, no closepin. Servers were chaotic and unorganized during dinner. They had no idea who ordered what, none of the vegetarians got their meals on time and 2 tables did not get served until about the time we were cutting the cake. For a company that does much larger events then our 160 person wedding we expected much better service than we received. We spent an outrageous amount of money with this company and felt like our wedding wasnt worth their time or effort. I would not recommend LUX catering to anyone.

From planning to execution, this was one of the best experiences Ive had working with a caterer. Kelsey was incredible, she took the stress out of the process and managed many of the details Im used to having to do myself. She had great suggestions when it came to finding a venue that suited our needs, planning activities during the event and creating the perfect menu for our discriminating crowd. There werent any surprises, missed deadlines and the end result exceeded my expectations. The compliments keep coming in from the attendees on what a great time they had, how good the food was and how much they enjoyed the venue. Ill being calling Kelsey for my future catering needs and am confident that our next event will be just as smooth and enjoyable from start to finish!
