I took my car to MAACO to have the front fascia and hood repainted. It was badly chipped. The owner (Steve) "guaranteed" his work and promised it was in his best interest to have a happy and satisfied customer. He explained it would be sanded all the way down and repainted with the highest quality paint. 1-year following their work, it looks exactly like it did when I brought it in. He (Steve) now claims that he does not warranty against rock chips and infers that I must be doing something different than everyone else on the I-15 corridor. Even a simple-minded person could deduce that either every car in Utah should look like mine from "rock chips", or the paint job that he performed was not done well and has just peeled and chipped back to the condition it was when I initially brought it in. Bottom line, I wasted $1000 at this business and my car looks exactly like it did when I brought it to them. I would not take your car to this business if it was the last paint shop on the planet.

Maaco Americas Body Shop @ 8411 Sout State Street Sandy Utah Proved to be UN-AMERICAN Quality Lied to my face after Believing in Quentin Behm....The $299 television Advertisement was FALSE ADVERTISING and BAIT AND SWITCH Did Body work in excess of Five DAYS they ruined the Body work in PREP, Broke a Part would not fix it left FOUR AREAS WITH MAJOR FLAWS AFTER BONDO AND PRIMER WERE WET SANDED TO 400 grit with professional sanding tool...I Will recomend them to the Better Business Buereu FOR FAILING AT THERE PROFESSION....This is why America is Falling to pieces, Because UNWORTHY BODY SHOP QUALITY IS CALLED GREAT BY THE SHOP FOREMAN Find someone ELSE THAT WILL PROVE REPUTABLE NOT MAC CO SANDY THEY DONT DESERVE TWO AS The Receptionist was kind and friendly, Quntin started out kind until they have your vehical, The Body Shop Manager lied to me right to My FACE...and did not care about a Complaint.

I brought an old car here to get a new paint job. Not the works, just wanted it to look nice. It does look nice, which is what I paid for. The only reason it didnt inspire 5 stars is because, being a 1 stage paint coat and everything, it looks like the painter didnt put excessive care to it, and came out with orange peel and excessive paint buildup on one side. Not a big deal, that kind of stuff can be buffed out, but had they noticed and done it, that wouldve inspired a five star review. Other than that, their customer service is really good, they got the color right, and their prices are unbeatable. It has to be the to-go place for someone who buys cars in bulk, i.e. a small car dealer buying cars from an auto auction, and wants them to look good saving a chunk of money. And a bit of run-off and orange peel aside, my car does look good.

I did a complete paint job on a 1970 Chevy C10 truck and couldnt be happier with how it turned out. I would definitely recommend Steve and the SLC Maaco crew to anyone. Now for the particulars. If you have ever tried to get paint quotes on a classic car or truck, it is a nightmare. I called probably 20 body shops that had at least a 4.3 google rating and only 7 said that I could bring it by for them to look at. Of those 7 body shops only Maaco gave me a reasonable quote. Everyone else was $20,000 or more. Steve told me he would get it into the body shop the day after dropping it off and it would be done within 3-4 weeks. They stuck to their original price quote, and it was done within the quoted time. Everyone told me not to trust Maaco with my classic...I would disagree with them.

Well I can only say one thing about this company and that is ...that they do great work! We had our 1937 Dodge painted here and it looks wonderful! They did the best job ever, took time to make it perfect! Plus they did it for 1/4 the cost of other shops we contacted! Stephen is a great guy to work with and he made sure we had a beautiful car in the end! Only took them 3 weeks and now we are ready to "cruise"! Dont hesitate to take your car here, if we can do it with a vintage car anyone can! Thank You Maaco!

If i could give this location no stars I would.... I would recommend anyone and everyone to stay away from this place. the owner steve is nothing but a crook and a fruad!!! They will qoute you a price and when you go back they will hack on additional charges and they dont have to explain there selves because of there crooked contract they have you sign. please take it to any other location and avoid this one at all cost.

What a great place! I took my car into them to get a quick estimate on fixing some body damage. It only took them about 15 minutes to give me the estimate, which was lower than the other 3 Id received. I left the car with them. It only took them 3 days and it looks great! Youd never know there were any problems. I would highly recommend them.

took my 1993 jeep in they painted it the wrong color but i did like the darker green so i left it as is but they also told me that the body work was fine and they would do a pre - prep to make sure all was good a year later the rust *( cancer) is coming threw the paint not sure it thats under any kinda warranty but over all im happy

Having sent my sons 944 to be painted with Steves team at Maaco, all I can say is wow! they did a great job refinishing his car and he gets looks wherever he goes. They were timely, professional and they beat the competition for price and value. Would use them again for our other project Porsches.

I had my 97 Expedition painted at MAACO and I got the very best paint job they had. I wanted a different color and it looks great! I had other estimates for more than twice as much, but I chose MAACO. This is the 3rd vehicle they have painted for me...All of them still look great!

I brought in my 57 Ford and it had rust on the left fender and a bunch of other places. They told me itd be done in a week. I got it back, and it looked beautiful. It still looks good, and the paint job was a reasonable price. Id recommend this place for its good staff and quality.

GRAT JOB MAACO on my 80 Mustang!!! Had them paint it using their "Economy" option, and it turned out like a "High Dollar" paint job. Also they painted my Grill and Headlight Bessels at no extra charge. Thanks so much, I WILL recomend your service to others!
