Packages are frequently delivered to our neighbors house and we frequently receive our neighbors mail as well. Its a constant exchange of mail between neighbors here on our circle; its the joke of the neighborhood how you never know where your mail will end up! 4 times in the past week tracking information shows packages were attempted delivery but I was here waiting and no such attempt was made. Tracking also says notice was left, but no notice is ever left. All of these packages are supposed to be guaranteed 2 day delivery via Amazon Prime. As long as tracking shows attempted delivery, Amazon considers that a fulfillment of their promise to get it to you in 2 days. So apparently USPS is just marking these packages as attempted delivery so they dont fail to fulfill their contract with Amazon. Just last week carrier took a package that wouldnt fit in the box and balanced it on the open door of the mailbox and wrapped a few rubber bands around the box, the door and the flag to make sure it didnt fall off? I was in the front window watching carrier attempt to strap this package to the mailbox, because apparently coming up the driveway to knock on the door was too much work. Just 3 weeks ago I was expecting a certified letter and I watched the carrier drive up to mailbox, put mail in and drive off, and when I went out to box, found a slip that said Sorry we missed you!". So again, carrier too lazy to come down driveway and knock on the door, so I have to go to post office to retrieve package, which had time sensitive documents in them, which were then a day late. If the carrier does come up the driveway to leave a box or package on our steps, oftentimes they will leave all of the paper mail (flyers, envelopes, etc), just balanced on top of the package. So when I come home, I find the wind has scattered my mail all over the yard, and I am left scrambling the gather everything up, wondering what actually blew away that I will never see! All of these incidents and plenty more over the years, have been reported to USPS, and they continue to do nothing about this carrier. I wish there was a fee I could pay to have everything shipped via UPS or FedEx instead of USPS, Id do it in a heartbeat!

Last week, we received 3 yellow slips in our PO Box saying we had 3 packages waiting. This was expected because we had ordered some stuff and had tracking numbers saying the packages were at the post office. The fat brunette woman behind the counter said she could not find any of the packages. She only looked for about a minute. The next day we went back, the same woman looked for less than 2 minutes, came back and said she couldnt find them. The following day, we had 3 more yellow slips in our PO Box. Another woman looked for less than a minute and said we didnt have any packages. The next day, a different woman found 1 of the 3 packages. Then, we had another package come in and got 3 more yellow slips. They still cant find those 3 packages !!!! It has been another week. Those boxes contain Christmas gifts for our kids. I am not happy.

Id give it zero stars if it were an option. Tried installing a box so I could receive mail and got authorization from the "acting post master" to install in a specific area. A week later the box was installed, but carrier refuses to deliver. Turns out the new post master doesnt approve of location. Wants it installed in a different location on property I dont own. In the meantime they return every single piece of mail sent to the address. Im also told the carriers pay is determined based on the number of steps. Doesnt seem to make any sense to me. They also will not allow the carrier to exit the vehicle because they might get hit by a car or fall down, the carrier isnt permitted to turn around because they might cause an accident. Never had problems with a post office anywhere else Ive dealt with.

Delivered my package to wrong address ! I ordered an item from Amazon. I got a tracking #. First, it said it was at the post office. I went there. There was a yellow slip in my box. I went to the counter to get my package. The clerk could not find it. I went home to get the tracking number and it said my package was delivered while I was inside talking to the clerk ! That is BS. I never got the package. Amazon wont refund my money because they say the item was delivered. These guys suck.

Several times weve experienced incoming and outgoing letters or packages having virtually disappeared, stuck at this facility for weeks. Sometimes it can take 2 weeks for just a simple letter to make its way thru here. Absolutely horrendous operations, never experienced anywhere else or at any other time with the USPS.

I mailed a package in Lebanon and discovered I sent it to the wrong person. I called the White River Junction post office to see if I could catch it before it leaves for New York instead of California. Woody was able to find it when it came in on the van from Lebanon. Thank you, Woody, that was extremely nice of you!

If you are in the mood for getting wrong mail, or no mail at all ....Well then this is the place you are looking for!!! It is horrible, and the "Customer service" is the worst. Seriously this post office is miserable.
