I had the worst experience of my life at Massage Envy Clarendon/Arlington. I have had repeated cancellations without notice by the front desk. I understand that things come up, but I would appreciate a call or e-mail before I get there to find out my appointment has been cancelled. My sessions also ALWAYS start 8-10 minutes late even though I usually arrive 10 minutes early. I never get the full hour that I pay for and that is just bad business. On my most recent trip and the reason for this review is I was treated very poorly by the staff here. I came in for my appointment and was given a new massage therapist. When we sat down to get the session started, she wanted to ask me about myself and my injuries. I told her nicely that everything is in my file and that I would just like to get started. She told me she did not want to read the file, she would rather hear it from me. At this point I got a little irritated because what is the point of keeping information on file in the first place? I was also just looking forward to finally having a full hour long session, but this didn’t happen. Once she noticed that I was a little irritated, she told me that she was not going to do the massage for me. At this point, she went to go talk to the manager and when I came out to the lobby area, the manager came and told me that they were going to cancel my membership! I never asked them to cancel my membership, and I find it extremely rude that they basically kicked me out when they are the ones at fault here. I will never return to Massage Envy in Clarendon nor would I ever recommend any of my friends go there! Complete and utter embarrassment for a business. Now I know why they have a 1.4 star review on google plus as a company!!!

I had a really great experience. So I had a facial and a full body massage. I forgot who was the person who did my facial like her name. But her hands were very angelic very delicate very soft she explained everything step-by-step we talked a lot the afterwards part I felt like I needed to sleep because it felt so relaxing and I was like in another world. The dude named Wilbur for my full body massage excellent performance! We talk so much he gave me good advice he also gave me a bottle of the lotion so I fully recommend best Massage Envy experience ever! All step by steps great explanation this was my first time going to this Spa. Or Spa in general. I give this Massage Envy a excellent review. They gave water even though I felt like I wanted to like fall asleep most of the time because I felt like I was in my own little world of relaxation. Although I would like waterfall noises better but other than that I loved it!

Well, I have not made it in yet so this is just a review for trying to make an appointment. I sent a request for appointment in on Saturday and it is Monday at 3pm and I still have not heard anything back from the Spa even though they were open yesterday. They were supposed to have a Veterans Day special and not only am I a Veteran but my husband is currently deployed to Afghanistan. I ended up calling and the lady on the phone told me that they have been swamped and that if it was for the special, they have been booked up since Wednesday. They could of had the courtesy to call or email to tell me it wasnt available. She also never asked me if I would like to rebook on a different day, just sorry and goodbye. Hopefully it is a good experience once booking an appointment but just the start of it all makes me not want to even try again.

If I could give this place a zero I would! I scheduled a 90min deep tissue massage, the same massage Ive gotten at massage twice a month for close to 8 years! The therapist refused to do it because I have fibromyalgia! This is the most ridiculous thing Ive heard of they state its their policy?? Why then do I always get them back home and one already in Virginia in another location? I know my body, my illness, and you should never again presume to KNOW what someone needs for their BODY! If YOU have concerns get a waiver for adults to sign! Thanks for ruining my day!

the clinic is always clean and the front desk makes sure you get your full time, the therapist there are wonderful, the bathroom are clean and always in function, the managers are always there to help you with your problems with your membership or anything else, example if you lost something. the front desk talks professionally and clean and they make you feel good walking out. the managers respect and help theyre employees.

A loyal Massage Envy customer and was pleased to find this location to be extremely helpful on the phone when making my appointment, welcoming when arriving the center, and most importantly a high quality massage. Ive lived in the DC, Maryland and Northern Virginia area for the past two years and this location has been by far the best.

I went and saw Carl. If you are looking for a deep tissue massage then this is your guy. He really knows his stuff and has been involved with sports health for a long time. It might sound funny but he knows how to communicate with the muscles. My back feels amazing and Ill definitely be going back to continue therapy with him.

Customer service is terrible. Ive been trying to get my membership transferred for months. They want me to do their job, then even when I do their job, they dont give me the rate we agreed on. Ive had good experiences with other Massage Envies and am regretting transferring my membership to this location.

Always professional, friendly and great service! The therapists are knowledgeable and experienced. No complaints. Love the variety of options, services, therapists, and hours. Deep tissue was amazing, worked out all my knots and problem areas. The relaxation Swedish massages are a monthly must do.

I made a Deep Tissue massage appointment with Yadira for my tighter than tight boyfriend and he was better after the first time! What an elbow she has! So highly recommend. And David at the front desk is so helpful too. Kudos!

Good massages, variety of therapists to choose from. Cost pricey unless you have their subscription plan, then not bad. This pricing structure is the reason for the 4 star rating.
