I live two blocks away from Mimis and have been going there every 3 weeks since I discovered them! Each time, Im treated like a princess. Complimentary drinks and snacks, super friendly staff, and quality service! I checked this page tonight to see when Mimis closed, and while this page lists 8pm, they actually close at 7pm. I arrived at 7:45pm, and began to walk away, but the manager cane outside, stopped me and welcomed me in. An hour later, I now have great nails for an interview and dinner date the next day. Mimi herself did my nails with a smile, and kept thanking me for coming in. I initially felt TERRIBLE for keeping them an hour past close, but they were so gracious and accommodating - and quickly made me feel at ease. While the prices may be a little more, its completely worth it in my opinion. The shop is spacious and clean, and the staff couldnt be better. You get what you pay for. Mimis is customer service at its finest. I highly recommend Mimis. You wont regret it.

I rarely take the time to review if I have a positive experience, but they are SUPERB! As soon as you walk in, you are always greeted by the same chivalrous gentleman and he always opens the door for you on your way out. They offer complimentary drinks and snacks. Sometimes theres a wait, because theyre just so busy because they are awesome, so I would definitely recommend calling ahead. They are reasonably priced, especially for this area and the salon is very clean. I have never been disappointed with their services, professionalism, or cleanliness. Ive taken friends and even my boyfriend. They are awesome, and highly HIGHLY recommend them!

The lady who cut my nails were flinging all of my nails everywhere and at me. I got a french shellac and the white is now turning yellow?? ..Its been a week.. Theres bubbles and cotton ball strands underneath the paint of my nails. I went here because I read how long the polish stays on for and bc we have the same name but did not enjoy my experience at all. And more importantly, my nails look terrible. Im only considering giving the stars bc there was an adorable puppy there and the lady who painted my toes didnt make them turn out too shabby- not great, but what can ya do.

I had high hopes for this nail salon. I was greeting by very friendly staff but once the actual pedicure/manicure started it was all downhill. The women doing my pedicure had long nails and kept scratching me during the foot massage, she cut my toenails very aggressively and also too short that my big toe hurts. Then the worst happened, as I waited for my nails to dry, she began clipping her toenails right in front of me using the same utensils she had just used on me. I was utterly disgusted and had a horrible experience. Never going back

They have the best customer service youll ever receive at a nail salon. Youre greeted with a smile and drink when you enter. They will provide flip flops for you if you forget to bring your sandals. They will add money on your parking meter so you dont have to leave. You may have to test out a few technicians if youre picky, as not all are equally as talented, but that is the case with any salon. All in all you wont be disappointed with Mimis Spa!

AWESOME!!! Best customer service in town. They pride themselves on remembering who you are and what you like...that is hardly found these days in the service industry. Whats even better for me...its two blocks from home. AND the gel manicures really do last 3+ weeks...Ive never had that happen anywhere else, and its consistent every time. Thanks Mimi!!!! You are definitely the best :)

Everyone is treated like a VIP. Complimentary wine, tea, or water. No skimping on the massages during pedicures. Large selection of polish colors. Only crowded during peak weekend hours. They even brought out a cupcake with a candle when a patron mentioned it was her birthday! Exclusive spa treatment at local nail salon prices. Manicure and pedicure for $45.

MY SHELLAC MANI LASTED 3+ WEEKS! I got a Shellac manicure on February 20th and it is March 15th and it STILL fully in tact. Of course my nails have grown and I need to get them redone, but I have NEVER had a Shellac mani last this long. I am definitely going back Mimi Day Spa! Not only is it quality nail services, they have amazing customer service as well.

A zero would be more accurate. The buzz from the cheap wine and the smooze smile dont fool the quality customer. Go to Cocos on Wilson; quality product with lasting outcome quality service. I live above Mimis and will gladly walk the extra blocks for quality service.

Amazing service everyone is so nice and they do a good job on the nails: regular mani, gel mani, and regular pedi! Complimentary champagne and wine. Plus they give you a bottle water at the end which is so sweet. The owner Lee is awesome!!

I love Mimis! The service is friendly and they never rush you. Decent prices and great place to go with your friends. The complimentary wine or hot tea is a nice touch. Try the hot paraffin wax treatment, its great!
