We have had our children at this center for the past 6 years, and over that period have seen so much improvement in the center from the previous management (which might explain some old reviews that may not have been positive). The center is clean, organized, and welcoming. The classrooms are particularly spacious and have a lot of natural light. Aesthetics aside, what is really important to me in a childcare facility is the staff and their relationships with the children. Over the years we have really gotten to know the teachers and administration at this center. What I love most is the daily exchanges we have about how how the day went and how our kids are developing and growing. It really feels like the teachers and administration at this school are part of my village, and act as additional parents in raising my kids during the day. This was especially true when my youngest was an infant. As most parents know, this is a hard age to leave your baby, especially after maternity leave. The infant teacher showed so much love to our daughter that I truly felt like she was a second mom. The staff cares about the well being of each child and are flexible enough to adjust to an individual childs needs. My oldest daughter was well prepared for Kindergarten both academically and socially and my youngest never ceases to amaze us with what she is learning. The curriculum - which includes creative play and crafts - keeps my child engaged and looking forward to school. The teachers have a knack of balancing a structuring and nurturing environment and the love the kids have for them is evident. The relationships we have made and the trust we have formed with the staff keeps us feeling great about where the kids spend their day. I would highly recommend this center to anyone. In choosing a daycare facility for your child, take the time to talk to current families and get to know the staff. It is easy to get distracted by a "fancier" center, but what really matters is the people.

Moving to Virginia was a tough decision for our family and even more so on our children whom had a lot of friends in their school in GA. Meeting Alli, Jillian, and Kristen I knew this WAS the place for us. The 2 year old room was warm (although cold temp wise bring a sweater) and inviting. Ms Leslie and Ms Briana are absolutely wonderful. They are patient and had my "independent" 2 year old boy potty trained in no time. The Pre-K Team is probably one of my favorite set of teachers of any grade I have gotten to meet. Ms. Niala (sp?) and Ms. Tamen have hearts of gold. They are kind, patient, loving and approachable. Their mix of teaching and love is something that has not only taught my son Pre-kindergarten (which he is ahead of ALL of his Kindergarten classmates) but taught him that learning is fun and to have a passion for it. If you are lucky enough to get your children in this class, they will be more than prepared for "big-kid school"

I am aware of the several-years-old bad reviews about this center when a Google search is conducted. The management and rest of the team has had a complete overhaul since then, and it is now a wonderful center. I have had my children there for over a year now, and wouldnt think of switching to another center. The center is very clean and well-kept. They have a great learning program; my school-age daughter learns so much but has so much fun. My toddler son has so much fun playing all day and has learned new words, sign language, and adores his teachers as much as he adores us! The staff is so friendly, and it is clear that they all truly love the children as their own and have passion for what they do. I hate having to leave my children while I work all day, but I am put so much at ease knowing that they are being nurtured with as much love and fun as I could give them myself.

We did not had good experience at this particular Kindercare Center and took our kid out after 3 days. Any kid when starts pre-school for very time needs lots of love and affection to help him/her transition from cozy home environment to outside world. Teachers were like machine with no emotions as such. Kids love cheerful and bubbly teachers not those teachers who are working just to earn money not for love of kids. Administration does not know what they doing. All in all I can say thumbs down.

Oh my goodness, where do I even begin? The directors and staff at this center are WONDERFUL. The center directors, Alli and Jillian, are so welcoming and very involved with the parents and children. My daughters teachers, Mary and Rebecca, have treated my daughter as their own from the moment we were enrolled. The center is clean, safe, and cheerful. The staff here have become a part of our family and we couldnt imagine taking our child anywhere else!

I have had both my daughters enrolled in the Broadlands location and they both absolutely loved everything about this place. All of the staff are friendly and treat the children like one of their own. The environment is clean, not out dated and is very inviting. I would highly recommend Kindercare of Broadlands to anyone!

My 3.5 year daughter has been going here. Great location, with nice and friendly staffs. However it is nice to have a bigger indoor open space for winter days, to facilitate kids move around, rather than keeping them inside the room. For spring and summer, the open play area is nice enough.

My daughter started going to Kindercare since she was a toddler. Now she is Pre- K. She totaly loves going to school and love all her teachers. Her phonics and writing skills has improved a lot. I totally recommend Broadlands Kindercare to new families.
