Awful delivery service and awful customer service! Once again they delivered a package and left it out where it was soaked in a rainstorm and ruined. I made three trips to the office to try to get reimbursed for my losses, filled out paperwork, and finally spoke with a supervisor. I was told that as long as it is not raining at the moment they deliver a package, they will not put it in a plastic bag even if the weather forecast is for thunderstorms that day. They could have placed it in the door rather than leave it out in the open. Very poor choice if you want to avoid long lines or use self service when the post office is not open. You frequently cant weigh items or purchase postage as their scale and postage vending machine is often broken or out of service for "regular maintenance". You would think that you could go into the lobby of this post office and purchase postage or weigh a package anytime (like you can in the mailroom of any private company). Not so at this post office. They only have one scale (an electronic scale) that is frequently broken and it takes them a long time to repair it. You would think that they would add a postage vending machine so you could buy stamps or add a second scale or have a mechanical scale since their one scale is often out of service. Customers shouldnt have to drive to another post office to do basic things like buy a stamp or weigh a letter or package. Also, if the scale gives you incorrect information when it is working, they will send your package back to you if it has insufficient postage. Priceless! Their motto should be "Were the post office, we dont care because we dont have too".

This place is a joke. Counter staffs are OK generally, but other staffs wandering around the lobby, they are really rude. I once dropped a package that I couldnt fit into the drop box. Some staff in the lobby area (no idea what he was doing) he got my package and threw it to the bin about 10 ft away OVER the counter, and said, see? easy! WTH!!! That lady who also wanders around the lobby, she is the one who always refuse to help and rude. Overall, this place is worse than Walmart, too bad this is the only place to go. Oh and dont ask them anything, they will always belittle you and try to EDUCATE you even when you are right.

I have now lost 4 packages that came through this post office. Flat rate boxes are constantly not stocked in the self service area. I just recently called about a package that was marked "undeliverable as addressed" even though I have pictures of said package with my address written legibly and correctly on the label, they took my information and tracking info and said I would be receiving a call... That was a week ago.

Buncha gooks and ragheads work here that barely speak English, It took a half hour of sign language trying to communicate with one of the ragheads before I realized it was a futile effort and just had one of the white guys that work there get my package using the tracking number which took FIVE minutes once he took over, what do you know... FIRE THE NO SPEAKYS!

Horrible experience, purchased a money order back in May, shipped Expressed Mail and somehow it got lost in the loops. Now I have to wait 60 more days (its now July) just to even hear back from claims. Never again will I purchase another M.O or ship with them period!! If there was a NO Star (0) I would select that for a rate review!

VERY RUDE. Whenever I went to complain about things, the very first thing they said is not "sorry" but things sounds like "It must be your fault, none of my business." Later, it turned out that it is their fault, still they didnt say sorry. Instead, they EDUCATE me how to make things easier for them.

Rather useless after hours, came right after closing for self-service and flat rate boxes were out of stock, printer on the only self service machine was out of service making it useless. Employees should refill and fix machines before leaving for the day, do they have a manager?

The personnel are very friendly, BUT the mail delivery is terrible. It comes late in day, and packages are not delivered as scheduled, as when it says "out for delivery" many, many times it never arrives until a day or two later.

Just came back from applying for my passport, and all I can say that the Customer Service rep (I think her name is Renee) and her supervisor have gone many extra miles for me :-) Words are not enough to thank them!!!

Apparently the grinch that stole Christmas. Package reported as delivered, but its missing. Recipient reports that many presents have gone missing this year.

I go often there and they never restock mailing supplies and when they do it has such a poor selection. The people that works behind the counters is great!!

Went to apply for passport, it was quick and easy, the lady helping was very friendly, had an appointment at Herndon Main Post office... it was a disaster.

Decent post office, quick and simple service for shipping mail and packages. The line can be long on busy days but come early to avoid the line.
