If I had to pick one word to describe my experience dealing with Albemarle Courier company, it would a tough to choose between unprofessional and incompetent. After failing to show up for a scheduled delivery appointment (confirmed appointment earlier in the day), Albemarle ignored several of my phone calls before finally answering. I was asked by the representative to "hold on", and he proceeded to put the phone down on the desk and have a full blown conversation with a co-worker about several non work related issues. I listened for 10 minutes while they spoke about everything from parenting to their weekend plans. Finally, someone picked up the phone and stated, "Oh shoot youre still here, huh," as if it was his desire for me to hang up in frustration. I was then told that an appointment was never scheduled (it was) and that I was flat out of luck. He used several condescending names in reference to my customer and told me that he would have to wait until his scheduler came in at noon to do anything. If youre considering using Albemarle courier company, DONT.

I have never been treated so unprofessionally. When the company for which I work asked to cancel our service, not for any fault of Albemarle Courier Service, we were immediately dropped. We thought we were being gracious by giving a week and a half notice, but our deliveries stopped. I called to inquire and was told someone would be right over. No one ever came. I called again and the same empty promise was made. The third time I was told by Mr. Foster, "You fired me so we are focusing on our current customers. " I asked to have our key returned. Again, I was told the y would get it back to us. That was in February, today is April 19 and we have not received the key or any explanation. Several phone calls have been made and emails have been sent, but nothing. We were satisfied with the service they provided, but Mr. Fosters attitude when we had to terminate the service was worse than rude.

I used many moving companies due to my job so I’m relocating a lot and that is why I also seen the horror of depending on movers. Most of the time movers cause delay and lost valuable stuffs plus damaged and broken things are common. So, I do have a fear of relocating but due to my job I have no other choice and I have to relocate frequently. However, when I used Albemarle Courier movers to move to North Carolina the experience was a complete reverse and surprising. This time the movers who were very polite did perform as if it was their own move. They delivered on time, handling my belongings with great care, moved all the goods without a scratch. They also helped with storing my belongings. I was pleased with the staff as well. Overall, I had an good experience dealing with Albemarle Courier and I have every reason to recommend this Movers.

After requesting a receipt for services several times and then being told to back off, I told them it was not professional to tell a customer to back off and Curt Foster told me to F Off and it was therapeutic for him to tell me that....I suppose he is the owner. Thank goodness my husband is a police officer and I will be contacting BBB

Great experience and great people to work with. We had an extremely important shipment that needed to get to DC from Gordonsville VA in less than 3 hours; and they pulled it off during rush hour. We contacted them at 4:30 pm and the driver was waiting at our location at 5pm. Would definitely recommend.
