I am very happy to have found Simmona and Van at Colonial Auto. I was somewhat discouraged after attempting to purchase a truck even with a prequalification at another dealership. We visited two other dealerships before driving through Colonial, talked with one they didnt have much of a selection and the other I didnt even get out. Driving through the lot at Colonial we met Simonna. Right away she was so positive and very receptive as I was telling her my goals. She immediately invited us to test drive possibilities that could meet them afterwards she introduced us to Van for the financing. The whole experience was very comfortable and positive. I was surprised there was no usual back and forth with this person and that one. To get me where I wanted to be was done on their end working with my financing and actually they worked for me and got me better terms then the bank first responded with. I am now a proud owner of a brand new show room floor 2017 Nissan Frontier 4x4. I am so thrilled Van did so much for me without needing to be asked to. All the other employees there are super nice and to further add to my exciting moment they stayed well after normal hours through hail and rain to make this moment happy. I will be back there for any other vehicle needs in the future! Thank you Simmona, Van, and others. I appreciate your help and time away from your families to work with me.

I originally went to Colonial Auto because my son bought his car there and he and my husband liked the salesperson. My first impression of Simona J. Holloway Warren was good. She listened to what I was looking for in my 1st new car ever. She seemed honest, knowledgeable, and like she truely cared about helping me. She was not a "pushy" salesperson. We test drove different cars. She made notes of what was important to me. Simona is really a people person. She is warm and caring. She went out of her way to meet me on a Saturday and a Monday, Martin Luther King holiday. She found me the color I wanted with the package and accessories that I wanted. We developed a trust and friendship that I never felt at any other car dealer in Charlottesville. I went to every dealer in town. I liked a few other cars that I test drove elsewhere but no one was as sharp as Simona, and I felt good about Colonial Auto too. Everyone was so nice. I met several of the front reception ladies and they were all pleasant too. When looking at Simonas wall of photos, I saw other friends of mine that bought from her also. After over 25 years of selling cars, it is obvious she is doing something right! I hope the new Nissan stands up to its name. I assure you Simona stands behind hers!

We bought one Electric Car the guy who sold car to us was a big liar, he told us so many things including that we are going to pay $120.00 a months and that they will give us 8 years warrantee. and we give them $2000 down payment, but they told us they have to order car and we have to wait 5 days. after 5 days we got car but then everything was deferent now this guy told us we need to pay $350.00 a months, but when we told them why they said that was a small mistake? nothing we could do because they refuse to give our money back because they told us now because we put title car is used and we have to pay them $5000 to return car. When we connect charger the charging cable was bad and we got big surprise when we ask them to give us good charger they told us we have to pay $900.00 for new charger because charger is not covered by warrantee which is not true and we end up buying new charger from home depot We report BBB and everybody but no help. Dont buy Nissan leaf electric Car if you dont have your own house because rental property will not allow you to connect 240 V charger in your house or apartment and you cant use A/C or heat because you will end up without charge. in night time head light will also eat your charge.

Well, I went in for one problem (possible slave cylinder issue) with my manual transmission. On Monday the service Manager could not duplicate the issue and was able to shift freely after test driving. However, several other things were found and I approved the repairs. When I picked up my truck a week later, I noticed a groaning sound when I shifted. I hadnt even left the parking lot. I turned around and had the on-duty service manager take it for a drive and experienced the same groaning noise. It didnt seem too serious so I said I would drive it for a few days to see if it would subside. On Monday, I called the original service manager and explained the situation from Saturday. I asked to check with the on-duty manager from Sat. to get the full story. Well, I am still hearing the groaning sound, sometimes more acute than others. I am somewhat disappointed that this matter came up after being told there was nothing wrong. It is now Tuesday night and I still have not heard from the service manager regarding this issue. I hesitate to bring it back and be out of a vehicle for another extended period of time. I will take it to some other mechanics for more opinions.

Bob Kemp was the first one who approached me at the door. He proved to be very understanding of my needs. I felt no pressure when talking to him and he answered my questions honestly establishing trust immediately. I had decided on the price and the vehicle prior to visiting the dealership so Warren Polson had agreed upon the price shortly after Bob Kemp invited Warren to discuss the purchase price. Paul Limbacher quickly began preparing the paperwork then Scott Draper took over for Paul to finalize the paperwork and get my signatures. While I was signing the papers Paul dispatched the car to the detail shop. Bob Kemp drove the newly purchased vehicle to my house because I had to drive my other car home. This resulted in the fastest and most painless experience I have ever had. I would recommend Colonial Nissan of Charlottesville to my friends and family. Below is my original post from several years ago and I wanted to add an additional positive review: I have been bringing my Xterra to Colonial for years to be serviced and it has always been top notch. Several weeks ago I purchased a 2016 Nissan Frontier SV 4x4. I cannot say enough great things about the folks at Colonial. Everyone in every department has been so helpful along the way and the sales process could not have been more smooth and straight forward. I will continue to purchase vehicles from and have them serviced at Colonial. 5+ Star rating. Original Post: I always have my Xterra serviced here. The staff is both friendly and knowledgeable and service is always expedient and done correctly. I have also experienced better pricing and more accurate estimates with Colonial Auto Center than anywhere else. From oil changes to more in-depth service, I have always driven away extremely happy.
