No place should be expected to be perfect and Im glad others have had great experiences with gbsc. I had 2 decent experiences with great bridge service center before they ruined my week and nearly wrecked my car. The last time i went to them it was for a transmission flush. They failed to refill ANY of the 13 qts they sucked out of my 1995 Bmw 7 series. I turned back after initially driving away. I told them it felt like the transmission was slipping and that the computer had a failsafe that forced shutoff. They tried to tell me I didnt know what i was talking about. Well actually the service tech Matt Lerman didnt know how to operate the BG flush machine. It should have been obvious that the machine collected nearly 13 qts of old atf fluid without dispensing any fresh fluid back into the vehicle. In addition to that the service manager didnt know how to check the atf level in a vehicle that doesnt have a traditional atf dipstick and happens to have been sucked dry. They refused to acknowledge even the possibility of making a mistake. They then tried to say my car must have had a preexisting transmission issue. This was completely false. I took pride in maintaining my vehicle and the transmission was running properly before they got their hands on it. I lost out on the money paid for the "service" plus what it cost to deal with and rectify the mess they put me in. I had my car towed back home from the auto zone up the road and I ended up having to add a total of 13 quarts of fresh fluid to my transmission thru the pan and only 5.5qts at a time til the whole system inc torque converter was full with a hand pump via the fill check plug, which is under the car. I was lucky my transmission survived no thanks to the great bridge service center. I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. This was the worst experience Ive ever had with any place of business. They would have destroyed my transmission and it felt awful to basically be kicked off the lot when I was just asking them to do right by me. Its an experience i wont forget. This occurred back in 2010 and since that time whenever I need a state inspection or something above and beyond what I can do in my garage I go to the guys across the street at the mobil (used to be BP) station theyve been great to deal with. The folks at GBSC say theyve been in business for decades well in the last six years theyve been given chances to make things right and regain my business but they have done nothing so may I suggest that u go across the street as well for your car care needs.

3 experiences in last year. One was a flat that needed a plug. They knocked it out in 20 minutes. The following week I noticed the same tire was going flat again. Took tire back to shop and they identified another puncture. The mechanic said since them nor me knew if it was from the same event or not that it was no charge and an easy fix. No problems with my tires. Two noticed engine light on and did a quick diagnosis via auto zone which said too rich. Tried seafoam but nothing. Got an appt. with GBSC and they identified it was a bad power pack on #4. Repair completed in a couple of hours. Three. Dropped car off for loud road noise when driving. GBSC called and told me it was the rear hub bearings. Asked how much and mechanic said that back brakes needed done as well and worth combining the work and cost would be around $600-700. He then asked me who did the front brakes and I told him that I did. He told me that I could do both the hub bearing and brakes on my own if I as so inclined and that it was easy enough for a home for mechanic. Great service no over selling and honest. Cannot be beat.

We stored our car at Atlantic Yacht Basin over the winter. We arrived back in May by boat to find it had some problems. Its an old car so it wasnt unexpected. We took it across the road to Great Bridge Service Center and explained the problems (brake lines were leaking, and we needed it looked over). Were not from the area. Its discomforting to have to rely on strangers for this. Its so easy to be taken advantage of. But nothing like that happened here. Chris was outstanding in calling us and letting us know what they were finding - he made 4 calls over 2 days - who could ask for more than that? He realized that it was an old car and we didnt want to spend a lot of money fixing it. The work they did was exceptional and the final bill was very fair and reasonable. If I lived in the area, this would be my go-to garage for any car issue. These guys are honest, capable, and just nice people to work with.

I love GBSC ! I have been taking every car I have owned for the last 25 years to Chris and the gang and have received the best service, advice and recommendations possible. Chris has never "steered" me wrong! Most recently, I took my new 18 year old Mazda Miata in to have everything done since the car had been in storage for a long time. Chris called me and said the belts only needed adjusting and all fluids were fine, inspection was complete and, since I am a senior, they would come pick me up. The bill was extremely reasonable and I will continue to take my "everyday" Explorer and my new old "toy" car to GBSC because I trust them completely.

After several years of state inspections I recently had a needed repair done, (U-joints). My vehicle was dropped off on a Monday afternoon, diagnosed and fixed by the time I was off of work the next day. The technician who worked on my vehicle called me several times to explain what he found, what needed to be fixed, and informed me of some problems I might have down the road. I felt they were very open, honest, and not looking to rack up as many repairs as possible. I will definitely be returning to the service center for all my repairs in the future.

Always honest with us, which is a big concern with auto care. My car had an issue that would normally spell death for that model because its nearly impossible to repair due to Mazdas short sighted design. The owner found a tool from Ford that solves a similar problem in their models and he made it work! Thats going the extra mile. Then, rather than upsell us on more repairs I needed, he suggested I drive it around to make sure its working aka worth putting more investment into so we didnt waste money. Honesty cannot be undervalued.

I came in for a state inspection and was treated very poorly. People who came in some time after I arrived were taken care of before me and I was left to wait on my inspection much longer than they amount of time they told me. They wrote me up for over $500 worth of repairs which were not needed. This service center is trying to make money off of people, I would not recommend this place to anyone. Very dishonest people.
