A recent incident has inspired me to write up a review. I never immediately submit a review until I get a complete feel on the business. I bought a 2013 Ford Fusion Titanium back in December of 2016. The process was smooth and they worked with me to get into a "new" car. Sam was great on filling me in and meeting me in middle grounds. I asked for the carfax and it showed no red flags. The previous owner took car of the car very well. Oil changes, checkups, etc. The whole nine yards, they did it. So of course, I wanted the car. I signed the papers and drove away happily. Fast forward to present time and unfortunately, I cant say that I feel the same way as I did before. A few days ago, i was going to park my car at my job and my brake had no resistance whatsoever. First thought in my head was "I just got this. What the hell?". So I got out of the car and checked around for the problem. Founding out the problem wasnt hard because there was brake fluid all over the front passenger side tire and ground. Anger and confusion set in fairly quick. Confusion because I couldnt understand how a brake line would bust at 66k miles. I called my father to get some feedback and he had the same confused tone. We talked and he told me to talk to the dealership because brake lines shouldnt fail before 100k miles. I called them and they said that its probably because moisture probably set underneath the line and rusted at the joints. What was also stated is that they could only look at it if I got it up there to their shop. Understandable. But they wouldnt budge on helping me out with a tow truck or giving me a car to hold me over until I figured out what the damage total was. I wasnt looking for handouts, just some understanding. So my father volunteered to fix it for me. He has repaired car issues of mine in the past so I told him to do it if he didnt mind. I bought the brake line piece and he installed the new piece for me. NOW this is the fun part; my father was bleeding the brakes to get the air out of the braking system and he went to the front drivers side to check and bleed the line... he found a similar problem. The line had huge bulge that was ready to burst at any second. At this point, my dad was saying "They didnt inspect this vehicle. They know damn well they didnt. Take it back to them tomorrow morning and let them sort this stuff out.". So I did that exactly. I drove it to the dealership and talked to a guy at the service shop. He too was also surprised that a line had busted at 66k miles but then I told him that the drivers side had a bubble in the line and it was ready to go also. That threw him over the edge. He then told me to pull the car up in front of all the other waiting customers (which I apologize for doing) and he would look at it when he could. I had to be at work within 3 hours of that time and knew he wouldnt be able to do anything at a proper time. I told him that. He directed me towards Sam to see if he could do anything, which he did. Put me in a Chrysler 200 until they found the issue. Before I left, I went to talk to an employee by the name of Eddy to see what was going to happen as far as expenses because I felt that the dealership was at fault. I told him that I understood that pieces are subjected to faultiness but it shouldve been caught when they supposedly inspected it. Plus, it wasnt just on one side. He then tried to evade and not take responsibility of saying the dealership messed up. He decided to say that I was driving it for a year already (Got the car back in December 2016) and I should expect that type of thing. I dont even think he believed the stuff he was saying himself, honestly. (I forgot to mention that my father was sitting beside me while this guy was blowing smoke) We all chatted back and forth for a bit and the conclusion was that he would have to wait to see what was all wrong before he could promise anything. So we left it at that, I thanked Sam for supplying me with car and went to work. They ended up calling me back saying it would around $400 to fix it.

I spoke to Marty Smith the Online Sales Manager when I was inquiring about the 2010 Dodge Ram that I was interested in. At the same time I mentioned to him that I had a price point I need to reach and if that if it wasnt possible to reach, I needed to know before I would even consider driving the 1 hour distance to test drive. He said that he would run the numbers and if he could make it work he would call me back. Approx 1 day later he said he called and stated that he could make it work and to come down. I was delighted! So I made the 1 hour drive and was even more delighted as the Ram Truck had more options then were listed online. The only problem with the purchase came down to a dent in the bumper of the 2012 Jeep I was trading in. After some careful negotiation the dent was not going to be an issue. Not only do I thank Marty for a very easy and simple sales experience, I would also like to thank the other members of the staff for providing an easy transition into a new vehicle. To save time I would like to mention Jessica Wharton the Title Clerk for their store. Not only does she have one of the best customer service attitudes I have ever encountered she was extremely patient with me obtaining the emissions test that USAA required for VA titles. If it wasnt for her and her efforts I would have had to spend hundreds of dollars and countless hours with USAA to obtain a clear title through VA DMV. Jessica you rock! To anyone reading this review, I dont care if you are 5 hours away. If you are in the market for a car or truck it will be worth the time and money to visit Chrysler of Culpeper for that purchase! - Tim

Just bought a 2 year old Corolla from Sam at Chrysler of Culpeper. This was the first placed we started looking for our daughters first car. As it turns out we could have saved a week of wandering around at other dealerships and just stopped looking after we found the Corolla. Every place we went to there was always something just wrong enough with the car (or salesman) we went to see that we moved on to the next place. A week later we ended up back at C of C just to compare the Corolla to everything else we had seen. We knew we had to make an offer on the car because it was quite frankly, the cleanest vehicle we saw with the fewest flaws in the price range we were looking in. I really want to thank Sam for being so very patient with us as we jumped around from dealership to dealership looking at other cars. He checked in only twice through out the week which was greatly appreciated. Some of the other salesmen we dealt with called twice a day every day and when they started getting obnoxious I politely told them we had found another car and were no longer in the market. Sam was a complete pleasure to deal with. No in your face hard sales. He knows how to read and handle his customers as he handled us perfectly. It was refreshing to be left to do our thing and not hover over us while we inspected the car and made our decision. 5 stars to Sam and Chrysler of Culpeper. I will always make sure I check their lot first the next time we are in the market for another new or used car.
