January 29, 2017 My experience with this auto shop was insulting, unsafe, and inconsistent. Basically, I knew I was having trouble with my brakes, but could not afford the entire payment up front, and was worried about my safety driving the vehicle. My mother has been getting her car work done there for about 5 years now, and we personally both have known the owner for more than 6 years. My mother is friends with him on Facebook, and We even lived with them at one point. My mother contacted the owner, and told us to bring my car by to have it checked out, and we did. When we got there, I explained that my financial situation was a bit tight, and asked if I could do a payment plan. The two gentlemen at the desk were extremely nice and helpful, and told me to apply for their online payment plan program. I have bad credit, so I was denied. However, the two nice men at the desk insisted on keeping my car there overnight, and would have the front brake pads and rotors replaced along with servicing my calipers by ten am the next morning. They mentioned themselves that its a safety issue, and insisted I shouldnt drive the car, so we would work out a written payment plan when the owner, Jeff Foley, came to the shop in the morning. They even joked about me cleaning his house in case I didnt go through with a written payment plan. The estimate for the brakes was $484. I was so relieved! I was excited about being able to drive safely and not having to worry about my bad brakes on my car. However, in the morning around 8 am, I reviewed a phone call from the owner Jeff Foley, saying the payment plan was not an option for me, despite what his front desk managers told me the evening prior. He claimed he couldnt afford a three month payment plan for the small amount of 484, because of corporate taxes, which he said are due in APRIL. Im not trying to put anyones personal business out there, but I know his house is one hundred percent paid off, and his business is booming and expanding, and has a very solid financial status for him and his business. Im 23, I work hard for my money, and its not doable for me to fork out almost five hundred dollars for car maintenance. I am offended that he denied me because he knows Im good for my word, and my mother offered to "cosign" on my behalf, so to speak. If I were you, I would not want to give my business to someone so stingy that lacks the least bit of compassion - especially after the front desk managers told me differently.

When I needed to get a pre-purchase inspection on a Honda CR-V 2005 I was considering, I looked around for a good shop near Fairfax Honda. I called several in Chantilly and other Virginia localities, but fortunately I was referred to Circle Auto! Michael very clearly explained what the inspection would entail: 1. a full and detailled examination of the vehicle: engine, transmission, gears, brakes, tires, steering, alignment, windows, headlights (down to that tiny light in the glove compartment!) 2. an emailled report with pictures 3. a price that was competitive with garages in the vicinity. A salesman from the dealer brought the car to Circle Auto and, due to a time constraint at the dealership, Michael processed it the same day, despite the fact that it was already mid-afternoon. Jeff Foley, the owner, then took over. I got a call and an emailled report at 5pm. Jeff walked me through the report step-by-step. He told me about issues with the brakes, tires, and a cracked intake boot. When the dealership offered to replace the brakes, I called Jeff back to verify the work to be done. He gave me a vital piece of information: dont let them replace the brakes without replacing the rotors! This must be an eternal truth of automobile maintenance: thou shalt not put new brakes on old rotors... Well, I called the dealership back, and they agreed to change both. Amazing! I felt very confident making an offer on the car because I knew all of its issues and how much they would cost. Michael and Jeff armed me with what I needed to fight the "Big Bad Dealership." When my CR-V needs anything from an oil change to new tires, I know I will take it to Fairfax Circle Auto!

What a great group of guys at Circle Auto Repair. I had a major problem that was created by another so called repair shop that listed some amazing things on their site. It took them literally three weeks in trying to find why my car was losing acceleration. You talk about frustration. I was so frustrated with the going back and forth and excuses I literally called a tow truck and took my car out of that shop. One of those excuses why they could not continue to work on the car is that the owner of the shop decided to take a vacation without announcing to his manager that he will be away for a week. I had to wait an extra week for him to come back to approve some parts needed for the car which turns out it didn’t needed those parts because the problem was mis diagnose . The next day on a friend’s referral I took it to Circle Auto Repair in Fairfax, Va. Jeff and Mike was fantastic working with me to solve the problem. With the proper tools that they have they diagnosed that it was the oxygen sensor. They worked on it and got my car back on the road in three days. They drove the car and consulted with other car professionals and got it right. Three weeks after I had my car the car runs like a formula one racing car. Not a bit of hesitation. These guys live and breathe cars on a professional level and I trusted them with my fairly newer car and these guys literally saved my life. I would recommend Circle Auto Repair to anyone who wants to get the job done right. Thank you again Circle Auto Repair a thousand times over. You have a new life time customer. MW Falls Church, Va.

Overall great service. Went into the experience weary, since I just started looking for a car repair shop around the Fairfax area, and I have no regrets about going to Circle Auto Repair. All the staff were professional and extremely helpful, going out of their way to help me. The most difficult part of the ordeal was finding their shop! When I arrived, I was promptly helped and was given time to explain the issues I was having with my car face to face with a technician as opposed to simply filling out a piece of paper and dropping the keys. I was assured I would be taken well care of, and I now am going to be a loyal customer to Circle Auto Repair. They even gave me a complementary ride home from the shop. Within a few hours of dropping the car, the same day I was called back with a complete diagnosis and had all the costs broken down to me in segments, so I could decide what route to take in repairing my vehicle. They offer low costs with a great warranty, which definitely is a plus, knowing Im insured for all the work that they do. Jeff, the manager of the repair shop is extremely friendly and definitely will go out of his way to make your experience the best possible. Due to an erroneous error, the keys had gotten locked in my car, and he stayed after hours to make sure we could get my car back up and running the same night that I had dropped it off. Overall speedy work of great quality at a fair price with friendly and sociable staff. I definitely would recommend you stop by and check it out if you have any auto repair needs!
