I went into the car care center right when they opened at 7am Monday morning to have them look at my car. I knew that I was leaking coolant and needed that fixed, but the bigger issues was that my car had some electrical issues with starting and randomly cutting off on the road. I purposely got to AAA as early as possible in order to get my car looked at, dealt with, and returned asap. The guy behind the counter seemed like he litrlaly could not have cared any less about what I was telling him and kept trying to cut me off by saying "yea well check everything out". I left the facility around 7:15am Monday morning. I did not receive any phone calls or updates all day. Fast forward to Tuesday (the next day). I called at 11am to ask how my car was coming along. The guy who answered the phone said that he had no clue and there were no notes or updates in the system. He said that the technician was eating lunch but would call me back within the hour. The hour came and past and I still got no call. I waited until 2pm and finally called the location and no one answered. I left a message and waited. At 3pm I decided to go to the location in person and see what was going on. I walked in and the guy behind the counter (same guy as Monday and who I talked to on phone) made eye contact with me and immediately looked down at his keyboard. I walked up and asked what the deal with my car was and he said "oh I was just about to call you". He said that there were no problems with the electrics and they ran a diagnostic test and found that I needed a new radiator cap. IT TOOK FROM 7AM-6PM, AND 7AM-3PM TO FIND OUT THAT I NEEDED A RADIATOR CAP! Then the man behind the counter said that they would bring the car in and get that done for me and call me when it was ready for pickup. Now, at 5:35pm, 25 minutes before they close I called in because I had not heard anything from them. The same guy answered the phone and said "oh yea your car has been sitting here. I was just going to call in the morning and you could get it then. I told him that I wanted my car now if it was done. I had to rush in and got my car at 5:59. A minute before they close. I honestly seriously doubt that they did anything at all with my car and I just wasted 2 whole days and my money. I WILL NEVER USE THE CAR CARE CENTER AGAIN! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND ANY AND EVERYONE TO STAY AWAY. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE

My husband took his car here for service. Upon entering the store, there was no greeting, "how can I help you" or anything. The representatives (middle age or older males) just looked at him. Then when my husband asked if this was the correct location of the building to have his car worked on, one of the men just shook his head, yes; still no words. They did not say "what can we help you with" or any inquiry as to what was needed. At this point my husband told them what he believed to be the problems. He was told a diagnostic would be ran and they would proceed from there. It was later in the day so we left the car overnight. The next day we did not hear from them and when my husband called no one answered. The following morning he called and the car was not done yet; they promised to do the diagnostic and call him back. By midday, no call so he went back to the facility and was told they were swamped, so they could not tell him when they would get to it, or even give him an estimate!! He still had to pay for the diagnostic ($109). My husband decided not to leave the car. The customer service and lack of communication were the biggest problems with them! I really would have preferred not to have even paid for the diagnostic; after-all they should not have even done it if they could not foresee a plausible time frame for beginning work on the car! I guess we were at fault for evening leaving the car after the initial encounter (no acknowledgment or attempt to assist without prompting). Poor Poor service!!!

Ive had my cars repaired and maintained here for the last several years... Since November 2006 when they opened. If you are an AAA member you receive a discount off service. Ladies day is Wednesday and oil changes are heavily discounted that day but arrive early. They also host a Girls Garage quarterly to show the ladies how to maintain and understand their vehicle. The waiting area is clean and roomy and I was able to use the complimentary wifi while I waited. There is free coffee/cocoa at this location and TV. It is in walking distance to CVS as well.

I have had 3 of my vehicles serviced recently at AAA in Hampton. All contacts and conversations with the service managers were polite and professional. The repairs were completed in accordance with stated instructions and estimates, and were finished on time. No complaints. I would recommend AAA for maintenance for anyone who does not want to go to a car dealership, or risk work from a small repair shop.

The service is always great here! Ive been getting my car serviced here since they opened and Ive never left disappointed. The service manager Derrick is always kind and helpful! I cant remember the technicians name (Im sorry if you get a chance to read this) is always kind when I do get to speak to him and he always goes the extra mile to ensure my car is in its best condition.

Great service quick and on time. Have used these guys off and on for years only because they are a bit of a drive from my house. They are my go to people for when I have a pressing or involved car issue. Great service team and Carey (SP?) was a great manager to work with. Extremely pleased with value of service.

I just had my dodge serviced and told them to put my brakes I had they were silver but they wanted me to put gold and I said ok so then I put my brake pads back in my truck and they stole them not very happy I am gonna make a complaint and tell people not to go there steelers
