I had been going to this Tires Plus center for a few years now, and they were friendly and helpful at first, but after two bad experiences in a row, they no longer have my business. I had asked them to rotate just the front two tires, since they were a lot newer, and my car is FWD, and after assuring me they would, they did a standard rotation and rotated my worn tires to the front. This was forgiveable. Now, a few years ago I had ordered a 3-year free alignment package, and so I came in for an oil change, tire rotation, and alignment check. They claimed that I had never ordered an alignment package, so instead of arguing, I asked if they could just check it for me and not perform service. The rep wouldnt take that for an answer and kept stating that he would check it but that if the alignment was off he would just perform the service (without asking me). I pushed back a little, because I just wanted him to check it for me, but he wouldnt listen. When my service was done, he said that my front tires "are toast" because my "alignment is all out of whack", and though the tread is pretty worn down (because they rotated inproperly the last time), I know that there is still a decent amount of tread on them. He quoted over $1000 to replace ball joints on my struts and for tire replacement. I refused, and asked him if he could at least rotate my tires, and he refused, saying that it wasnt safe and he couldnt let a car drive off with tires like that... but when I refused the services again, he gave me my car back, with unrotated tires (it would have been a lot safer with a rotation), and said something along the lines of "you know youre going to have to get this service done before your next safety inspection." I just passed my safety inspection 3 weeks ago. I feel like he was just trying to scare me into paying for some overpriced automotive service. This Tires Plus center used to be decent but I feel like theyve become dishonest over time. What a shame.

Not taking my vehicle back to this place anymore. They saw my pregnant wife and seemed to think that this gave them license to embellish and exaggarate the condition of my tires and my Unbalanceable wheels. According to the guy at the counter, the tires could not be balanced. He also stated that one wheel was so badly bent, that it was rubbing against the backing plate. There is no such thing as a backing plate. There is a brake dust shield, but that has a bunnys chance in hell at rubbing up against the wheel. But I digress. At this point, I am speaking with the salesman. His explanation of what a backing plate is vague and laughable at best. He proceeds to try to sell me at least one wheel and four tires. He did not have the price for a wheel, stated that they were working in getting a price. During our conversation, I found a aftermarket replacement wheel, a copy, for $120 shipped (Thanks Google!) Since they couldnt get me a price for the wheel, I declined everything. "Well, do you at least want to get the tires changed out?" I was perplexed and asked, "I thought you said the wheels could not be balanced?" The response included a suggestion that I was putting my pregnant wife in danger. I curtly declined all services and asked them to send my wife on her way. The local Costco said that the wheels did show damage, but not to the extent that they could not be balanced. They also said that the wheels had been balanced already. I would assume that Tires Plus attempted a balancing, hence my second star on my rating. The tires did need replacing because of a condition called feathering (Check google to get down on the jargon) I got my tires there, as they came out $75 less, out the door. Costco membership for another year, goodbye to Tires Plus.

Yesterday I had my car serviced for an oil change, tire rotation and I had a brake lamp replaced. Oil change and tire rotation were $24 and I was quoted by the front clerk that the brake lamp was going to be $17.99. 2 hours later I receive a call from Seth, I assume he is a mechanic, he said the brake lamp needed to be replaced and I also had a license plate bulb out. When I asked him how much it would cost to replace both Seth said $5.99 for each bulb and $40 for labor a piece to replace each bulb. That is far from what I was quoted originally. When I said no, Seth quickly changed the price down to $20 per bulb for labor. All together I spent about $80 to get oil change and replace 2 bulbs on my car. Bad thing is they didn’t rotate my tires. This is the second time I have been there for and oil change and they didn’t rotate my tires. When I called in after I discovered that the tires had not been rotated, the sales person said possibility they didn’t rotate these tires because the tread might be too low or some BS like that. Don’t you think they would have tried to sell me 2 new tires if that were the case!!! Service there is ok; price for oil change is ok, but check for prices and quotes when you go there because they will try to rip you off!

I never leave reviews for any business but this has me so upset I made a special effort. My truck was running rough and I pulled into this station and left for them to look over. They reported back that the entire exhaust system needed replaced and that both catalytic converters were plugged and all four O2 sensors needed replaced, total cost over 4K! What they were saying didnt add up so I cross checked their diagnosis with another mechanic. Turns out that $80 for new plugs and wires and I was on my way. So all I needed was a tune-up!!! Then just a week later I took the truck in for my annual emissions check and it PASSED! A vehicle with plugged catalytics would fail for sure. These guys tried to rob me blind and they argued and challenged me when I questioned their diagnosis. This is my 2nd bad experience with these guys, I WILL NEVER GO BACK and tell everyone I work with to avoid the place at all costs!

I went in to get a quote on 4 new tires (I had bought my tires here in 2008 and they wore out at 40k when they were supposed to go to 60k). The guy at the front desk, Vern, was extremely rude with no customer service skills (I am a 29 year old female and was treated with immediate hostility). He looked at my tires without speaking any words of explanation and just said he wouldnt adjust the cost for the 60k warranty. I asked to speak to the manager, Steve. Steve waked my car with me and provided explanations on how they were wearing and even discovered a razor blade stuck in one tire. He was professional and curteous which is the only reason im giving 2 stars instead if 1. I told him my experience with Vern, and was just met with a blank stare. I cancelled my appointment because I just couldnt give them my business after how rudely I was treated.
