Ive never experienced such horrible alteration work or customer service is my life. They quoted me a price to hem a long dress and then charged me almost double to pick it up. I was told, "This is a long dress." Since they pinned it, I think they should have noticed it was long when they first quoted me a price. I picked the dress up, and one side was at least 2 inches shorter than the other. They told me to come back the next day to talk to the manager. I did that, and she asked me to try the dress on. When I did, I was told, "I cant hem this dress. Its all uneven." SERIOUSLY? I wasnt given any money back. I am on the verge of trying to get money for the price of the dress, which is not wearable and was a 270.00 dress. The Manager actually yelled at me when I began to become agitated over the problem (after my 4th visit to the store, each occurring upon her request to come back when a different person was available to help me). She said, "I will have you deported!" Thats a very strange comment since I was born in the US and havent ever lived anywhere other than the US. Id strongly advise finding a different cleaners and alteration service. This is the first time Ive ever disputed with a service provider, and Im floored to think that anyone would run a business like this.

If you value your hard earned money, do not do business with Lansdowne Cleaners on Promenade Dr in Leesburg, VA. They overcharge! I brought in two Rayon/Viscose/Spandex sundresses to be hemmed (only a 1/4 to 1/2 inch). A simple cut and sew as the material was not expensive nor were there multiple layers. After being pinned, I brought the dresses up to the counter. The saleswoman stated it would be $52. Thinking that price (for Northern VA) was not bad for two alterations in which a basic hem was done, I told the lady I would be back later in the day with two more! I went to pick up my order (now 4 dresses) on 9/6/2016. The saleswoman at the counter told me my total would be $208!!! I was floored! I said, $208? I was told $52 for 2 so the other should have been the same for a total of $104. She said "No, it was $52 per dress!!!" The owner Young Oh was not willing to rectify the matter refund the $104 overage after multiple contact attempts. Am filing complaint with the BBB. Update: Services not rendered. Dresses werent hemmed to proper length and are uneven! See photos.

Went to a few others in this area and liked this one better than the others. Service is good, friendly staff and the prices are comparable and a little higher than others but Ive learned you get for what you pay for. Ive taken my Zegna shirts elsewhere and the buttons are always broken, not this place. Young, the owner suggested to hand press my nicer shirts for a more polished look and to protect the buttons from breaking. Looks like they fix clothes here too because there are some fancy looking sewing machines in the front of the store.

They ruined a sweater. First claimed that I had brought it in that way, which is ridiculous. Why would I bring in a sweater with a quarter of the bottom ripped off? And how would a place as stingy as this not notice it? Then they tried to low ball compensation. Then they still had the gall to try to charge the cleaning fee. Worst customer service ever. I will never go back.

I have used Lansdowne Cleaners for years for laundry and dry cleaning services with no problems. I recently took in an expensive suit for repairs, which were completed without any visible flaws. All in all, Ive been very satisfied.

Just as other reviewers say, I found this place overcharges. It doesnt take much research to find a place much cheaper with the same or better quality of service.
