Have had some shingles missing off my roof for some time. Went on Home Advisor and had some Contractors / Roofers contact me. The first people went up on my roof and then told me all I need was to replace the shingles and only quoted me that. I asked more than once for an estimate to replace my roof and they pretty much ignored me. Eric from NVB was the second person to come out. He went up on the roof, checked it out, did some measurements and explained everything to me so I could understand it. He told me he would e-mail me a proper estimate that evening and he did. After two other contractors came out, I decided to use NVB. I liked that they had a great BBB rating and with all the checking I did, never saw anything negative about them. I called Eric and told them they had the job. He told me my shingles would be delivered on Monday (7/7/14) and they were. He told me that he and his crew would be here on Wednesday and that it should only take 1 day to install the new roof. Eric sent me a photo on Facebook at 4pm saying they were finished. He posted photos of the job and it looked good. I got home Wednesday around 6pm and thought my new roof looked GREAT. No debris or trash in my yard, or my driveway. Even my neighbors complimented me on the look of the roof. I wouldnt hesitate to recommend NVB to anyone. I think they did a great job and everything went exactly as they said. Thanks NVB.

After the 3 feet of snow in Winter 2016, we noticed internal leaking in our home that pointed to a compromised roof. We contacted NVB to assist us with an insurance-claim estimate and repair. Every step of the process was professionally handled, politely done, and explained thoroughly to our satisfaction. We were assisted through every step of the process. All questions, no matter how small or silly, were fielded and explained. Everyone was prompt, had a professional, competent look and demeanor, and did excellent work exactly as promised. The owner made a couple of extra recommendations that were affordable and sensible (he was not up-selling us just to squeeze a buck out of it.) He explained all the reasons in detail, and we had veto power if we had wished it. The interior repairs actually looked nicer than the rooms originally did! You cannot even see a single flaw in either ceiling now. Everyone was gentle with our belongings (some we moved aside, some were delicate or antiques). They were in and out for the room repair in a day. We had no issues being able to communicate clearly and correctly with the owners, insurance people, or repair workers. I hope our roof holds for decades to come, but I wouldnt hesitate to call this company again, should we need them. You can trust them to do the job correctly, the first time.

My wife and I were introduced to NVB from the work they were performing on a neighbors house (siding and roofing), and knowing we were in the market for siding replacement, and seeing the quality output next door, decided to solicit NVB for a bid. Eric was very straightforward with what would be done, as well as what didnt need to be done (we were on the fence about the roof) and even pointed out some weather related damage to consider for a claim. Up front, he mentioned that he would do all the leg work with both the insurance company and our HOA, and that any claims not accepted wouldnt be worked or charged. He said it and he did it; we didnt once have to deal with the HOA, and the only interactions we had with the insurance company were a handful of confirmation phone calls and claims e-mails. Even better than receiving quality work over a short period of time from the NVB team, Eric himself came on-site (and off the clock) after all the work was completed to address a potential collateral damage issue from the siding installation (later inspection from both Eric and a knowledgeable independent resource confirmed that there was no issue from NVB). This was very reassuring. Overall, we were very pleased with the timing, legwork, price, and follow-through from NVB. Thank you!

We had our dream home custom-built in 2000, and after fifteen winters, it was starting to need some TLC near the roofline. NVB took all our needs into account, gave us an estimate, then worked with us to break it down so we could understand where our money was going. Once we hired them, they showed up when they said they would and worked hard to complete all the agreed-upon work to our satisfaction. We had them remove and replace a large amount of exterior trim close to the roofline, complete a lot of exterior painting, rehab our two exterior porches, and install an extractor fan in our master bathroom shower - a project that involved drywall, painting, and electrical work. We are very happy with the work NVB performed and wanted to make sure we had lived with the repairs & improvements they made for several months before posting our review - which we have now done. Thanks to the whole crew - job well done!

This was a simple replace rotten wood on an end Townhouse job. 3 weeks between work being done and cashing in on initial check (same day) Problem 1. No follow up from my handler only answered calls which I placed. Problem 2. Expressed my concerns, on missed rotten wood being replaced, my handler ( who said he lived in my neighborhood) took 10 days to provide a face to face. Problem 3. Promptly collected the balance of the original job then discussed how this 1 piece of rotten wood was not was not part of the original job Problem 4 Stopped returning my calls and the company states my handler is "indisposed at the moment" Problem 5. I believe this was undertaken as a "side job"using company resources so my next step is small claims court I presume,,,Frustrating !!!!

We had a roof that failed after 14 years because it was improperly installed by the builder; frustrating to say the least. When I contacted NVB, Eric came out the next day to give me an estimate. He helped identify why the section of our roof had failed (improper installation-high nailed shingles) and inspected the whole roof for other wind damage/faulty installation when most other estimators would only pull up a satellite image and calculate costs. Eric promptly responded to questions (even when he was traveling out of town). We had researched and gotten estimates from several other companies and in the end selected NVB to do the repair. We are happy with the results and would recommend Eric and NVB to anyone looking for roofing work.

Eric Bradley and his crew just installed a new roof on our house and did a terrific job!! Id gotten six estimates on the roofing, and it was amazing how wildly they varied. Not only was NVB Contractings the lowest of the six, but in discussing the project with Eric, I had the sense from the beginning that theyd do the best job. I was not disappointed in the least! They were very timely and efficient, and the finished roof looks great! They also did a great job of clean-up afterwards. This was an especially significant issue with our house, since we had two layers (6000 sq ft) of shingles to be removed. Id recommend them to anyone, and theyll be at the top of my list in the future for other projects.
