It was worth a 12-hour 780 mile drive from Michigan to purchase this unique vehicle! I wanted to replace my 2003 Olds Silhouette which had 282,000 miles and lots of troubles. I looked on the internet for 2003 Olds Silhouette vans with less than 100,000 miles and there were only 4 in the entire USA! I ultimately chose a 2003 Olds Silhouette with 76,000 miles, no rust, no issues, etc from Suttle Motors in Newport News, VA. In my opinion, GM made a huge mistake by discontinuing the Oldsmobile line. The Oldsmobile is far superior to the Pontiac (which GM dropped in 2007) and the Chevy line in terms of soundproofing, lower road noise, more luxorious options and generally higher quality. This van can get up to 30 MPG when driven on the highway at 65 MPH. It can comfortably transport 7 people plus luggage, or with the seats removed it becomes a moving van! Jim Russo at Suttle Motors was extremely helpful as I reviewing my options. My initial first choice was another 2003 Silhouette located in Nebraska with 49,000 miles, but when I discovered that it had rust underneath I moved to the vehicle that I ultimately purchased from Suttle Motors. Patiently, Jim took the time to take photos of the underside of the van and sent them to me so I would know what I was buying. We agreed on a price and he agreed to take my other 2003 Silhouette van in trade sight unseen. Because I lived so far away, Jim let me put a hold on the van so it would not be sold until I could come and look at it in person. Suttle Motors dealt very fairly with me through the entire sales process. I found a co-pilot and drove that van almost 800 miles, leaving at 7pm on 1/29 and arriving at 8:30am on 1/30. By 10:30am we were on our way back to Michigan with the new van and got home by 11pm on 1/30! Yes, I am a confessed road warrior and am proud to say it. I have had many family adventures with my old van, and we had been the only owners. But I now have an even better van and am eager to build new memories over the next 10 years! I hope that someone else enjoys the remaining life of the vehicle which I traded in, as we travelled an average of 25,000 miles per year (mostly highway miles) and visited all 50 states (the van did not come with us to Hawaii or Alaska) and all of the Canadian provinces from Quebec westward.

WARNING DO NOT GO HERE!! Steve Davis and Ray Hogge lack integrity!! I brought my car here after I was rear ended in an accident. I was called to pick up my vehicle when it was finished. Drove from Gloucester to get it and when I started the car it sounded like there was a helicopter flying over. I didnt even take the vehicle and just left it there to be fixed and let them know it sounded like the exhaust was causing the noise. Got a call back later the next day saying they made some adjustments with the exhaust and it was ready. Again it was making a noise; this time I brought it home because it was after hours and I needed the car. I looked at the back end of the car and noticed the heat shield for the exhaust was lose and flapping around....causing the noise. (Not sure how the mechanic didnt notice it the first 2 times) Scheduled to have it brought it again and showed Ray what was wrong. (want to point out getting ahold of Ray at this point wasnt easy.) Was supposed to get a rental but they didnt have one ready (even though they new what time I was coming ahead if time). Had to take the car and bring it back 3 hours later. Again had to leave it over night. Got the car back the next day and I didnt notice the sound. Drove home but the car still didnt sound right. This time I crawled on my back as far under the car as I could go and noticed that there was a tweak in the exhaust pipe and it was leaking from where 2 pieces of the exhaust come together. I took pictures for proof. Had the insurance set me up with a different repair shop since my faith and trust in Ray was gone by this point. The new shop put the car on the rack and noticed that the exhaust was bent in multiple places. Had to replace the entire thing. Suttle charged for replacing the exhaust but clearly didnt. Suttle also never once offered to compensate me for my multiple trips to and from Gloucester or for my time that I wasted. I called after to talk to the manager Steve Davis to inform him of the bad experience. He said he would look into it and call me back.....that was 3 weeks ago. Pictures of the bad exhaust Suttle tried to pass off as good below.

This was my 2nd purchase from Suttle! The first time went smooth when I bought the Saab 9-3 convertible. I thought everyone did a good job that I talked with. However, I dont understand why I had to wait 3 hours for delivery. I noticed that my name was wrong on the paperwork, and new forms were printed up in only about 5 minutes. A thorough car wash would take about 20 minutes or so. A trip to the gas station would take another 10 minutes. We agreed on the deal at 12:30 and I didnt leave the dealership with my new car until 3:30. I didnt see many other customers there on Monday, April 17 to justify the delay. I got my car just in time to catch the downpour, flash flood and rush hour traffic. The new car was not even filled up with gas at delivery so we had to go to the gas station as my first drive in my new car. On the test drive it was nearly empty, at delivery it was halfway full, so someone had to put in some gas, but not enough to fill it. There were errors on the paperwork for my name, my work phone number and for the initial delivery mileage. The initial delivery mileage was 192, and the paperwork was wrong in the dealerships favor by about 70 miles, which I noticed when I got home to review the paperwork. This may affect my time under warranty. Also, Im struggling trying to find out how to use the CUE system and how to use it to see the trip odometers when I drive. The garage door openers dont seem to work. Chad the salesman and I tried to program it at my house. I looked at the manuals, and searched on YouTube, but still havent found the answers I need. This was an additional option on the sticker for $1,025 and Im not sure what the added money covered, actually. Is this normal for Cadillac dealerships? I love the car and was glad to meet Rhonda in the service bay. She showed me that the dealership appreciates its customers by greeting me with a handshake and a smile and offered to order the trailer hitch included in the deal right away. She didn’t want to keep me waiting. Keep her!

I recently bought a car from Suttle Motors and the initial experience was not a good one. After voicing my concerns and issues with the customer service I received to the sales manager Mike Williams, I must say he went beyond the call of duty to make sure I got the car I wanted and that I was completely satisfied with my purchase and Suttle Motors. He was polite, professional and more than accommodating to me at all times. He is the sole reason I decide to still buy from Suttle Motors and not tell of the beginning experience. Then I met Robert Morris from the service dept. Robert knew nothing of the problems I had in the beginning and there was nothing to mend. When I tell you I received the absolute BEST service from Mr. Morris! I have a loaner from the dealership while they fix a minor detail on my car (Which Mike had brought to my home in Virginia Beach so I didnt have to drive to Newport News). I had a blow out in the loaner and couldnt get a tech out with road side assistance to fix it. They wanted to tow the car to the dealership and leave me stuck at work. When I spoke to Robert and told him that this is what road side assistance offered, he immediately went to find out what he could do. After exhausting all possibilities, Robert called me back and told me that HE would drive to my job (also in Virginia Beach...about 10 mins from the ocean front) with another car and pick up the car with the blow out. That was awesome! He was awesome!! What great customer service!! Robert was very polite and professional as well. He is the reason now that I will continue to use service with Suttle Motors. Great job Mike and Robert, I want you to know it is recognized and appreciated. I just cant leave this review without saying Mike Worlin is the WORST salesman I had ever seen in my entire life. Im sure he wont last long. Stay away from this guy!!
