Would rather rate this salon as okay, could be much better. I want this salon to survive and be sucessfull, the location is very convienient for me. The location: Great, the apperance Clean modern, very nice. My issue: there seems to be dissension among the workers. And they dont mind sharing that information. The music was the issue when I was there, Need more upbeat music, that seems to be an argument amongist the employees among other things as I was told during my haircut 1.5 hours after I arrived. On this particular day that I was there, there were 3 people working and a lobby full of clients, with a minimum wait of 1 hour, which is unheard of for Great Clips, even if you dont log in on line.I watched 2 people walk out. I use to go to the Chesapeake Square location (3 years), I may be going back, it is a shame this location has a lot of potential. I go for a quick haircut without any drama. Dear owner, please dont allow your employees to ruin your business. P.S. the owner was no where in sight and no one seemed to be in charge.

Been to this shop three times now. Service is always friendly and generally very quick. Different stylists each time. The cut is always good to very good, unlike some other places, they do a good job of layering the hair. They keep your preferences in their database, so they dont have to do 20 questions to figure out how you like it done. Cost is average for a male haircut. Ill keep going back till they give me a reason not to. Update: Still going here, and for the most part its been a great place to go. I use the online app now to check in so I usually dont have a wait. Occasionally they offer a card with 5 haircuts on it prepaid for around 10 bucks each, that is a great bargain.

I brought all the guys of my house here for their April haircuts. If you want fast results, this is a place! I found both ladies waiting on customers to be cold to all customers (young and old) and uninterested in their job. I hope that these two are not the only technicians on staff, or this place is in trouble. Our stylist sent both of my guys out the door without quality cuts - oversights even after I pointed them out, in the chair! Frankly, I do not think she could discern what a nice cut looked like on a man. She did notice the boys scalp issues and inquired what shampoo they were using. Its a shame she did not finish the haircuts with attention I was paying for.

I am so sick of this place. my favorite stylist,tiara, worked here since i moved to the area and now she is going to work in Yorktown. But every since the old manager, Donna left, every time i call or come by theres some girl with an attitude because I want to know tiaras schedule and Im sick of it. Whoever owns this place needs to get rid of these rude females. I should be able to request anyone I want. And quite frankly, I havent seen anyone cut better or provide better service. This salon was way better with Donna and tiara, the skinny white girl, and maria. What a shame

HORRIBLE. I WILL NEVER GO HERE AGAIN. Nikki spent no time on my hair. Not to mention, she wasnt very friendly. More importantly, I felt like I couldve done a better job hacking it up with child scissors. It was uneven. I went back in two other times, the last time I had Donna cut it instead. Its better, still not great. I feel like I wasted my money. I will never come here again. They do not know what theyre doing. At all.

My stylist did a great job, but its so hot in there. I was sweating just sitting in the chair. I can only imagine how bad it must be for older people or those with health problems. Get a new AC!
