I have been a member for 35 years. I have always had good service when I needed a road call until yesterday. I had a flat tire in Tappahannock Virginia at around 5:00 p.m. I called AAA and was told a technician was dispatched in Tappahannock at 5:18. I was also told that I would get texts advising me of where he was and when I could expect him. I waited till around 6:00 and since I had recieved no updates, I tried to get back with a human being to find out what the problem was. Finally at about 6:40, I got to talk to a dispatcher. He said that they had sent an update at 6:36. I was on the phone trying to reach them at that time and had not seen the update. This guy told me the technician was 26 miles away and would arrive at about 7:30. I asked where he was coming from that it was taking from 5:18 to 7:30. He said Hampton Roads Lock and Key. I said, "you are sending a man fro, Newport News to change a tire?" I wondered why they could not find someone closer than 120 miles. He said that because Tappahannock is in their Tidewater division, they cant send anyone from Richmond or Fredericksburg. He didnt know why they couldnt find someone in Williamsburg, Glouchester, etc. Soooo, my grandson and I sat in a car with the motor running to keep warm for 2 1/2 hours while a guy drove from Newport News to change my tire. Apparently, they dont have enough people to answer the phone which causes long times on hold and they dont have enough service people to respond in a reasonable time. I was told that someone was going to call me today from customer relations. I havnt heard yet and it is 8:05.

Ive been a AAA member since 1986 and Im thrilled that this facility has opened. I brought my car in today to get a second opinion after I had my car inspected by a shop who claimed that I needed over $400 worth of repairs made. AAA confirmed my gut instinct that none of the repairs needed to be made; however they did take care of a few other items that came up. They took the time to explain and show me what needed to be done and as far as I can tell, did a great job. I appreciate their honesty which Ive come to expect from AAA. The facility is very clean, offers complimentary coffee and water as well as other amenities AAA members have come to expect such as maps and tour guides. Keep up the great work!

I hadnt been over to Willow Lawn in a while and I was surprised to see so many new places. They have a lot of new restraunts to try out, like the Noodle Co. They also have some great new shops. Some are chains and some are local. I like the mix. I loved this new little furniture store that just opened up named Renew 4 You. They have hand painted furniture, used furniture, and accessories. Its a fun little store with an ecletic mix. They said they would even custom paint anything I wanted on my furniture. What a great idea!

Echoing several sentiments similar to below, I had an outstanding experience using AAA Glenside for my car care (oil change). Not only were they offering a great special for current members, but they finished my oil change in RECORD time! I came Friday to drop it off for Saturday AM service; Michael Hart called me ~1 hour later on Friday afternoon to say it was complete! Fantastic service, clean and nice facilities, and welcoming employees. I was beyond impressed by this branchs professionalism and customer care!

Had a terrible experience with AAA.We have been a member for years.My wife was to rent a car from Hertz and I payed for a week for her on my AAA card.When she went to Hertz to pick it up she found out that AAA put the car in my name and my wife could use the car because it wasnt in her name.She went back to AAA and there manager said he would get back to her in a couple days but so far hasnt done anything about it.Also Hertz was no help to explain how the foreign car works.VERY DISAPPOINTING

This is a brand new (March 2017) service center. Ignore any reviews prior to that date. Michael Hart, the service advisor, was pleasant and gave an honest (I think) assessment for a fair reasonable. There were some new technicians in training but they appeared well supervised. The car center was spotlessly clean. The tire problem (slow leak in two tires) appears to have been resolved. I would definitely recommend this car center for out of warranty repairs.

Could not have had a better experience. Top shelf facility with quality people. Service advisor Michael Hart was awesome. Honest and fair with great integrity. Our story: Driving back to NJ from Georgia and blew a brake line on my truck. I stopped in several places before finding this one and thank god I did. I am a member of AAA and now know to look for one of these facilities whenever in trouble again. You wont be disappointed

This is average at best, and there was nothing that made this stand out from the crowd. We were the only family in the shop and there was trash on the floor and in the booths. Most of the yogurt machine was either empty or not frozen. The hot fudge dispenser was also empty. The guy behind the counter said all of three words to me. Just very unimpressed.

This place I amazing! We had a tire fall off van and the tow truck driver "country" was awesome. He had the van on the truck and to the location in an hour. They closed at 7 pm but open up and brought it in when we got there a few minutes after 7 then worked on it first thing in morning. Cant say enough about the amazing treatment! Thank you.

I first called in an attempt to get information for a vacation. I was referred to someone and transferred to their line, no one answered, no one called back. I called back and got the samething. Then I tried to stop by, it was 5:30 on a Tuesday, all the lights were on, there were people inside, the doors were locked, no one even looked up!

The staff here is incredibly helpful and friendly. Mike (Asst Mgr) always goes above and beyond to take care of anyone who walks in the door. Definitely suggest using this location for their auto needs!
