I have an 06 Dodge Ram 2500 Cummins and unfortunately I had to experience replacing the infamous transmission. Although excepting the fact that my wife and I had to spend a good chunk of money right at Christmas time was going to be very difficult. The guys at Deisel Power of Va made the process as painless as possible. They were absolutely a pleasure to work with and I would highly recommend this repair shop to anyone with any make and model. Thats right! These guys are top notch professionals on just about anything with wheels! I will without a doubt be using these guys for all of my automotive needs! took my truck in to get some burnt wires repaired and primarily pinpoint a short in the harnest that had been racking my brain. they repaired the burnt wires and called me and told me i needed a $1700 dollar injection pump installation done. so i had the truck towed back home. (another $55) took 5mins. found the short. my question would be if i had spent the $1700 in un needed repair. what would i have been told then when it did the same thing. i dont know about there work overall being the first time i ever took anything to them but their electrical skills are not the greatest. i was told i brought it in for burnt wire repair not no start diagnosis???? this confuses me did i not want my truck to run or something???

Take your car, family truck, work truck or diesel vehicle of any kind to Diesel Power. Yes, they are experts on diesel engines...but they do all the maintenance on all of my family cars. I was referred to them by another ecstatic customer and now I go there every time. Diesel Power of Virginia is a great shop for your diesel truck! I had electrical issues and needed my oil changed as well as a fuel leak fixed. I made an appointment and everything was fixed the same day. The problem ended up being the batteries. They let me know promptly and fixed it right away and I was ready to go. It ended up costing me a lot less than I expected. I would highly recommend taking your truck here! Thanks again.

Dont let the name fool you, they work on all vehicles. This is a fantastic Family run shop with great customer service on the front of the house and mechanics in the back that really know there stuff. I have used Diesel Power of Virginia for 20+ years for ALL my vehicles needs... Oil Changes, New Tires, electrical work, break work.... you name it. They are fair, honest, and great people!

Id give you no stars if possible. Im in a bind and I called to see if they had a coolant filter kit (such as a Sinister Kit or Rudys kit) in stock... I spoke with two people and both of them didnt know what I was talking about. Thisu is one of the best diesel shops around? I found another local shop in the 23111 area code that had one in stock. Very disappointed!!

Even though they could have gouged me on all the problems with the vehicle, they explained in detail why the car was not worth the repairs and helped me start looking for something new.
