Beware.... Use UPS or FedEx. If your mail is routed through the USPS distribution center in Sandston, Va, prepare to have problems. I was tracking the certified mail envelope I had sent my 2015 Va. state taxes in. The envelope made it from my local post office to Sandston quick enough but then it was out for delivery for weeks. I called USPS customer service. They assigned me a case number and said they would get back with me. They never did. I kept tracking the envelope for about 2 months then one day, the tracking number could not be found in their system. I called them again, gave them my case number, and they were unable to give me any answers. It was like my envelope never existed. I called the VA. state revenue department to see if they had received my tax return. They did have it so the envelope had indeed been delivered but never scanned as such. This was not the first problem we have had with items going through Sandston. From now on if I have anything of any real importance I need to send to someone... IM USING UPS!!!

A) this is not a post office, this is just a distribution hub. B) theyve been delivering the wrong persons mall to us for a year now, weve complained twice, nothing has been done
