Seriously, no wonder UPS and FEDEX are preferred. This is my third time in this post office - Ive yet to have a good, or even decent, experience. This time, (I drove 14 miles to get stamps.) Upon entering the facility, it was loudly announced to me that "its 12:02, were not taking any more customers now.Its lunchtime." I stated that I only needed a sheet of stamps and she replied "Nope, its 12:02, we have to be back at 1 oclock and were already late getting out of here." This was my ONLY day off of work. Im in healthcare, leave my house by 5am and dont get home until well after 6-7pm. Were lucky if we get a five minute break during the work day. But I certainly dont begrudge anyone else a meal break. But what about customer service? What about basic politeness? I had no idea that the post office closed for an entire hour at lunchtime. Why cant they break in shifts? And take 30 minutes. WHO needs an hour to eat lunch in the middle of the day. This post office/staff is the epitome of laziness and rudeness. Im sure that none of them have any idea of what customer service is. They are way too entitled. So now, I wont be mailing any Christmas cards because I wont have another day off until its too late to mail them, and all of my packages will continue to be shipped via UPS. Not only do they know how to hustle, they always do so with a smile. Thankfully, we now have a UPS store in King George.

if i could rate with negative stars, id gladly give this location negative 1 million stars. I called this morning around 830 (yes i know before operating hours) to get some information on a package that was 2 day priority mail that is now on day 5. it has bounced around different VA locations and now is remaining on a location in sandston (another location with horrible reviews). A man answers the phone and i asked if i could get some quick information. he rudely tells me to call back at 9 when they open and hung up. i called back at 9 and a different man answers the phone (both not giving thier names when they answered) and i asked the same question. his reply was that i just have to wait until its delivered to my location, and hangs up. i dont know what kind of training they are getting at this location, but its not in customer service.

THEY LOST 1000$ DOLLARS OF MY RENT MONEY ON A MONEY ORDER WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH THIS PLACE I NEED THAT MONEY TO LIVE AND THEY JUST MISPLACED IT?! OUTRAGEOUS Will NOT make the grave mistake of going to this place again. UPDATE: 1/25/16 Failed to deliver a package to us on time. Was told they couldnt fit package in mailbox and left a delivery notice in mailbox. No delivery notice was found in mailbox and I was home the day this happened. No post truck came around the neighborhood. They blatantly lied about even stopping by. The roads are no longer Icy and have been plowed and salted. Me and my wife had to go to work. They have zero excuse. Will escalate these wrongings to a legal case if need be.

Not even worth one star claimed they delivered my package when they didnt. I spoke with driver she said she walked in and dropped it off. I was here all day and she never came in. This post office is a joke and they are all a bunch of liars. Trying to cover up their mistakes with lies. Ill be reporting it and they will find my package or give me a refund..... ......Someone just brought my package by the store said it was delivered to their house and they specifically stated they came in the store and dropped it off. These people do nothing but lie and if she did that to me she is certainly screwing up everything else she does and telling more lies to cover it up...

I wish there wa an option for zero stars. The rudest postal workers I have ever encountered. 11:58am on a Saturday and I walked in with 1 small poly mailer. "Maam, were closed." Very short and aggressive. I replied, "I just have 1 all package and its not noon yet." She said, "well we have things to do after this." And rolled her eyes. This was the same employee that I witnessed being short and aggressive with an elderly woman earlier in the week. Ive only lived here for 2 weeks. This is the only place in King George where I have encountered such rudeness. Despicable!

if I could give zero stars I would, first off on the very first attempt at delivering my package the lady never came to my door and I watched her put mail in my box then later when I went to get it I found a slip saying she attempted to deliver my package but I didnt answer the door, then when I read the back of the slip it said that it was the third and final attempt to deliver which is ridiculous because I tracked the order and it didnt even arrive at the kg location until that morning. then when I called I got a busy signal alllllll day

The worst they use these odors to deliver for ups so usps. Says I dont have a mail box there I live in Dogue and they are to lazy to put it on my door so they return to sender.they even erased the tracking number on one.I paid 75.00 for it and couldnt prove where it was.I reported them to the post master.Now when I get mail to my post office and it has my old name on it some smart a-hole puts a ? Mark on it. Less than 1 star I went to make friends with the head Landy some Spanish person and twice I have left in tears.

Have had numerous packages claimed to be delivered only to find out they were "stole" which wasnt the case after I called and threaten to complain to consumer affairs this is the worst post office I have ever dealt with rude employees, the staff steals items or has them returned not to deliver them. Anyone on here as per the postal office states the sheriff is not to deal with lost packages the post office is and if they dont call consumer affairs they will investigate them

i called the post office around 10 times in one day and the phone was busy all those times ... i had to go up there and talk to someone about my package that was supposed to come in a while ago ..and the lady was short and gave me no answer on what to do really ..and one of my other packages that have all the correct information on it ..is sent to my neighbors house ...called and complained about that and the peoples response again was very vague ..

Terrible just terrible. Many times usps would say my items have been deliverd in my mail box and I never receive the item. Im always home and never see them put items in my mailbox. They always say they will do an investigation and nothing happens. Im under the impression that this postal office is stealing items and Im tired of it. This by far is the WORST post office ever. Plus their phone is always busy and they are always rude.

Constantly getting neighbors mail, have complained numerous times to no avail, sent a large check back one time with a lie for an excuse! It took a couple of months to get it back!! Now an expensive handbag was delivered to the wrong street and wrong house! I pray I get it back! These mail carriers are WAY OVERPAID!!!! Pay them minimum wage or fire them, Im tired of not knowing when or whos mail I am getting!
