I have been to this post office often in the past 8+ years and, until this year (2016), have had great things to say about them. I have had FOUR packages delivered to the wrong address. Now, when I order anything, I am so paranoid, I check the tracking number often. What has happened to the delivery person?!! Early this year (January), I had two packages that said they were delivered never arrive. One of the packages even required a signature (this was in November 2016), I was shocked when checked the tracking number and said delivered with individual and signed. WHAT?! Nope, that was not me. And, who signed for it, it wasnt addressed to them?!! Thankfully, I called the office (not sure how I got through since it always has a busy signal) and they tracked the package down. They told me the delivery person left it at the wrong address and would be by that day with it. NOPE. Wrong again. She sped past the house, didnt even leave a note in the mailbox. I had to run her down on the street to get it. And, she never told me sorry or what had happened to her delivering it to the wrong address - and let someone else sign for it. Somehow everything I ordered was still in the box, nothing was missing. Today, this happened again to me, package delivered to the wrong address (something I should have gotten 2 days ago according to the tracking number)!! I am trying to call them now, but keep getting a busy signal. This is unacceptable!!!!!

I have always had pretty good luck with this post office and most of the time good luck with the mail carriers. Today I was waiting on a very important package and I was home and saw the mailman put mail in my box then drive off. When I looked at the tracking status it said nobody was here to authorize for the package! I was livid. Whom do I complain to? I had this same thing happen recently with something else that I never received. They never left a slip or anything! I had to call a different post office just to talk to somebody because I couldnt get anything but a busy signal. at this one. He finally tracked it down to my post office (Lorton). I went in there and complained that nobody ever left a slip or anything. They just made me sign something gave me my package and sent me on my way. No explanation. How do I know this wont happen again tomorrow? This package is very important! The last time nobody was supposedly here it went to some other place all the way off Van Dorn and I had to go there to pick up. I am Pissed!!

I greatly dispise this branch. I recently had them deliver a package to me and they lost my package it was never delivered to my mailbox and Ive asked other residents of my apartment complex and they had not seen any package. The tracking number states that it was "Delivered" to my locked mailbox and it wasnt there its been over a week. I decided to put a claim on the package since I paid for priority and it includes 100 dollar insurance on a 70 dollar product that is now discontinued. Waited about 4 business days then they decided to declined my claim stating that it was delivered already. Seriously come on, obviously someone has not done there job correctly. Numerous times I have had to hand deliver other residents mail because the delivery person is too incompetent of placing the parcel in the correct corresponding mailbox.

I had two tellers here and both were really helpful. I had packaged my items in a flat rate box and one of them pointed out that it would be cheaper for me to use regular priority mail by weight, or use a regional box. I am really grateful to him for saving me $10! I am glad they will take the time to inform you about their services rather than just process you through.

Most of the time people only comment on the bad experiences, but this was a very good experience for me. The Asian lady at the service desk was patient and explained the differences and cost between the different Certified mail options. I don’t use snail mail much and when I do, I need help if it is more than a regular letter and stamp. Thank you!

Ive live in the area for 2 years now, the team is very nice and friendly. My waiting time has never been more than 5 minutes. When my daughter moved out of the country they were helpful and very patient as I figured out the shipping requirements.
