Jimmy and Kevin are outstanding Managers they always make sure you are being taken care of and treat you kindly. I have had a number of issues I have come here for including a brand new engine replacement. There prices are fair and they dont try to sell you things you dont need. Jimmy even walks me through the whole process showing me whats wrong. I have recommended it to everyone in the area I know. UPDATE: To Honest Man - Every shop uses industry standards from a book or cd to spell out how much time a job should take. Usually these values are for inexperienced mechanics and include repetitive actions that may add extra time to the job such as only having to jack the car up once for an oil change, but when they rotate your tires time for jacking the car up is included again. The shop has three ways to make money, with only one being an honest and viable way to stay in business. They make money on parts, labor, and book time labor turn around. Lets extrapolate, parts, they have to buy these so it’s not a profit generally, what it comes down to is three things; the quality of the part, the honesty of the mechanic and the ability of the mechanic to shop around in his local supply. If the mechanic is honest he will buy the best quality parts required that he can at the lowest prices available. When doing this he makes little to no money on parts but has to charge you for that. Dishonest shops can buy used parts and charge you for new ones. Next is labor, each shop can choose how much an hour of time costs you and usually display that openly. This money goes to many things such as being split between the mechanics doing the work and then the overhead of having a shop and then to the owners pockets. It is expensive to stay in business and after paying out your bills and employees you usually aren’t left with much. The next part is the book value. If a book says you can only do this amount of work in one day’s course for these types of jobs then you are limited to only making a certain amount of money. The experienced mechanics can do the job in a shorter amount of time than the book, allowing them to take more jobs, however it doesn’t matter if it takes him longer or shorter to do the job you still get charged whatever the book rate for hours were. So in closing the shop makes most of its money from the labor and the ability to work jobs faster allowing them to get more in. That is how the system works in a nut shell. So for those of you like honest man that don’t know how this works and are not willing to pay for the services then buy a bike or take public transportation or send your kids to mechanic school so you can make them work for free. This is life, it is free business and you can take it or leave it. What you get at one stop is the peace of mind that you are working with honest men who will always treat you fairly and will never give you a run around. Remember you get what you pay for most of the time in life and at one stop when you pay honest rates you get honest work. If you ever have a problem you talk to Jimmy or Kevin and unless you’re an unreasonable person they will come to reasonable solution with you.

I started to experience some car trouble traveling down 95 to NC. I was lucky enough to exit off and continue to head south on Jefferson Davis Hwy where I saw One Stop Auto. I was extremely pleased with the level of professionalism, friendliness, and generosity of the staff and owner Jimmie. If I lived in the area there would be no question for me where I would take my car for service. Even though it was clear I would likely not be return business I was still treated extremely well and I have not had someone be so kind and generous to me knowing it would be the last time he would see me. I know they operate in the best interest of their customers, always. I cant believe with all the nearby choices I got so lucky. Within 20 minutes I was back on my way to NC for the weekend. Superb place people!! I could tell in my short experience there, they do things the right way. Because of my desperate situation I could have easily been taken advantage of. A Car place that doesnt actually take your pockets for a ride. Not whole lot of good people left in this world like the owner of this place. Thank you Jimmie!

I have been going to One Stop for about 10 years now! I love them. I refer all of my friends and family. I have actually met people that have traveled from Deleware and Pennsylvania just to have their car serviced by One Stop. There has never been a hard sell! A few years ago I took my car elsewhere for an oil change to take advantage of a free service. When I went to pick my car up the tech told me that my brakes needed to be replaced. It was right before Christmas and I wanted to travel out of town. So, I took my car to One Stop for the brakes to be replaced. I received a call, maybe 20 minutes later and it was One Stop. The person on the phone asked why I had brought my car over. I told them I needed my brakes replaced. He said, Maam, your brakes are brand new! Why did you think they needed to be replaced? I told him that another service center told me to do so, and that is why I brought the car in. I went and picked my car up, free of charge, and felt very valued by the honest service the team at One Stop provided.

I brought my scion tc in for an oil change. I did not have an appointment, I just happened to look at my mileage vs my sticker and it was over due. When I walked in a very nice lady took me right in, I believe her name is Callie.. I knew it might of been a while since I walked in without an appointment, so I brought a book and sat in their lobby. Well it did take a little over 2 hours, so they didnt charge me for my oil change since my wait time had a while. I trust this shop and am very satisfied with their courtesy. I didnt expect my oil change to be free. I would just say to make an appt so your wait time wont be so long, or plan on dropping your car off. She did make mention that she doesnt normally give free oil changes but I could tell that she just felt so bad. All and all, I love One Stop.

VERY honest and knowldgable when giving advice or estimates. Had my 02 TJ clutch and flywheel replaced. For this service I only gave 4 stars because my final cost was a little higher than my estimate, but it was still fair because the extra part was unexpected. My family and I have been going to this shop with all our cars since 1978. Jimmy and Kevin are honest and will tell you what is needed and options to the repair. If it isnt right they will make it right within reason. I have recommended them to all my friends, co-workers and relatives over the years and will continue to do so. I have been to the other Stafford mainstays like Eddies and Kazs, but have had the BEST service, value and honesty at One Stop.
