When looking for a mover and reading reviews, we were first skeptical of all of the 5 star ratings for Absolute Moving Company, but my wife and I were totally impressed with the professionalism of Absolute from their 1st visit to give us an estimate to our last contact with their upholstery repairman. We were moving from Virginia Beach to Chesapeake and wanted a local mover to do the job in one day. The estimate Jeff gave us was fair and competitive with other local movers. Albert and his moving crew were on time, personable, efficient, and showed genuine care for our possessions. They did the moved in near 100 degree heat in less than the anticipated 8 hours. They made sure everything was in place and where we wanted before they left our new home. During the move, a piece of fabric on our living room sofa was noticeably scuffed up and Jeff had, Norm, their upholstery repairman come to our home and repair the fabric, which now looks as good as new. If you are looking for a mover, hire the best, Absolute Moving Company.

A few weeks ago my company had an urgent last minute need for all of the office furniture to be moved out of the offices so carpet could be installed on a Friday. Then the furniture had to be moved back in and reassembled in the offices on the following Monday. Absolute provided an hourly quote over the phone and said no problem we will be there with 4 movers on Friday morning. The movers were very professional, courteous and careful with our property. Their efficiency allowed them to complete the move in a very timely fashion. On Monday the movers completed the task of putting the offices back together and kindly listened to the employees directions of where they wanted their items placed. Absolute provided a very reasonable price and wonderful service. I would use their services again and would definitely recommend them to others.

This is the best moving company i have hired by far. The last company i moved with was 2 movers and a truck, and they broke alot of my stuff and waisted alot of time, which i paid for!!! But then i hired absolute moving company and they really did a great job in the act of how fast they worked without breaking or even scratching one thing, they also had a very good time frame for my move,and great pricing, not to also include they where very friendly and had a good way of letting me know everything that was going on and or going to be moved. They also called ahead of time instead of just showing up as early as the time i had been listed to be moved at. Great company, and very good workers.

We contacted a few moving companies in the Virginia Beach area who left countless voicemails and called me at every hour of the day offering high prices. I found this local company, got a great price to move out-of-state, and Rick was very quick responding to any questions. They were a half hour late on moving day (we were behind on packing so not a huge deal) however they did show up with four people to move us out when I thought we were only getting three, so the process was expedited. We moved three hours away and they did a great job wrapping everything up and packing it in the truck. I would definitely recommend them.

A+ business. Hired them for a large, local residential move based off of other reviews. Owners personally came to our house the same day we called to give a quote in writing. Price is competitive. Showed up on time for the move day. No damage to any items or either house. Movers were professional, hard working, and got the job done in great time. We move every few years related to work and this was by far the best moving company we have used. Zero BS from start to finish. Highly recommend them.

Outstanding. The movers that reported to my company 3 and 6 October 2014 were professional and courtesy and friendly. They were on time each day and ensured the moving did not interrupt our daily routine.They made sure no items were damaged or broken. They even labled the items so they could go back into the appropriate offices. Great company with some great guys employed by them. I would use them again and highly recommend them.

Absolute Moving came a long way from Virginia Beach to Smithfield to move us to Newport News and we were very pleased with the job they did. They were very careful with the many items that were "antique" to us and they even shrunk wrapped many of the pieces that needed close attention. this was our fifth move with these guys. Great crew. Some had been there years ago. Nice to my family. Didnt rush. This move, there was one smudge on the corner of a sofa. They took care of it straight away. There are some very bad movers out there, be careful. We will continue to use these guys as long as we are in Hampton Roads. I have checked their prices each time, and they remain competitive.

Absolute Moving was the best moving experience Ive ever had. We moved my fiancee from Portsmouth into my house in Virginia Beach. The guys were extremely friendly, helpful and efficient. They were super careful to wrap items like headboards, and flatscreens with their blankets. Overall, the value for the price was excellent. I would recommend them to anyone moving in Hampton Roads.

Hired Absolute Moving for an in town move. The crew was very professional and took really good care of my furniture. Everything was wrapped up really nice and not a dint or ding on the furniture or walls. I was amazed how they maneuvered the larger pieces around the tight corners and through doorways. I would highly recommend them.
