Theres a reason this is a one star PO, but is it any surprise? I will pay $$ more or drive a longer distance to go elsewhere. I put in for a mail hold, got an email confirmation, and a reminder the day it ended that I needed to go pick up my mail from them. Show up to get the mail, my mail cant be found anywhere. They claim they never had it on hold, despite my confirmation and numerous emails from the USPS. Sure enough, mail wasnt held and all was crammed in my tiny apartment box for two weeks. Hopefully I had no packages come, because if I did, they are long gone now. In addition, I had two packages scanned delivered and nearly three weeks later (19 days), they mysteriously showed up. One was an item that couldnt have been replaced and another was a custom Christmas gift the creator graciously resent at no charge (before they were found). Absolute incompetence. The manager today at the station when asked about my mail hold situation literally shrugged her shoulders and didnt say a word when I asked who was responsible and who to come back and talk to. The area manager is a total a-bag, even confirmed by my complex manager who also has massive issues with the USPS. This place is such a joke, when I relocate, Ill be sure my mail is not delivered by this post office. Oh and lastly, Ive lived here six months but continue to get mail belonging to four different people. I once put a RETURN TO SENDER on one and what do you know, a week later...back in my box. Apparently you dont even need a high school diploma to work for them.

My aunt sent me a package a WEEK AND A HALF AGO, she tried calling all day and there was a "busy" tone, I called all day, and then tried again the next day and the same thing happened. I tracked my package and it said it was out for delivery for 3 days, and I still have not received my package. So I went into the store to pick it up and when she asked what my address was she said she talked to my aunt and told her it was already on the truck today and it was going to be delivered today. (which it WASNT) I told her that I tried to call for the passed two days and the line just gets a busy tone, and then she proceeded to tell me that they do a "screening" everyday from 1-3, well guess what lady I called at 12, 4, and 6, ALL BUSY TONES. Im going back in there tomorrow and Im not going to be happy or pleasant. I dont know exactly what the hell happened to my package but the people were rude and NO HELP AT ALL. Im reporting this to the US postal service company and I hope that this store gets a visit or a call from corporate because this is absolutely insane. Im curious as if the workers are stealing peoples packages or something???? WHERES ALL OUR STUFF??????????? ALSO to the lady working there my aunt said she didnt even speak to you on the phone until after I was even in there! Bunch of lazy, liars. -12 STARS

Horrible Post Office: I moved into a new Apartment and the post office needed to change the locks on my Box and give me the keys. I had them hold my mail at the post office which seems to only happen 45% of the time. 55% of the time the mail is returned to sender. The GM is rude I was told it would take a week to get the key changed after a week I was told no it will be 2 weeks because there back logged. After 3 weeks I was told they would get to it when they had the time. I pointed out this was inconveniencing me as I work 0700 to 1800 Mon to Sat. To pick up my mail I must take a half day off work drive home "45 Min to and from work" Just to pick up my mail. I was told that I needed to calm down and that they would get to it some time. over a month later now 45 min ago I went in to pick up my mail and asked if they had my key they told me no. I asked who I needed to talk to I was directed to the GM. When I commented that that would be a pointless conversation the GM laughed . I left I went home and called the regional PO to complain told them what was going on. They called the Local PO and after 10 min came back on and told me that they say the key was there and I can go pick it up. SO we have Rude and LIERS!!!

Lost multiple packages somehow, took my number and said their manager would call me back about it, which never happened. They also keep their phone line off the hook or disconnected all the time as Ive called their number countless times and it automatically goes to busy. Ive even called while standing there in the store at the counter just to see and it still goes to busy. Seriously, try it. Call that number, I guarantee you it will be busy no matter what time of day it is... UPDATE: Confirmed as worst post office Ive ever had to suffer using. They have lost MORE packages of mine. They say theyve delivered them but I told them to leave them at the front office of the place I live. UPS and FedEx dont fail at this, why is it so hard for the USPS to do the correct thing? Even the supervisor there told me the delivery people arent supposed to leave them at apartment doors but to deliver them to the front office. Either the idiots are losing my packages, or theyre leaving them at my door after I expressly told them to STOP doing so and they are being stolen. Either way, their service is horrible. Theyve either lost my items or caused them to be stolen repeatedly after being told to NOT leave them at the door.

This complaint is not about the PO facility itself, it is about the mail service at Southmore Condominium complex off of Weslyan. Mail is regularly put in the wrong mail boxes. On a given day, I can have 2 or 3 residents mail in my box (which indicates it was not done in error, rather negligence). Many resident have complained about having to deliver other residents mail to their homes, because they were incorrectly put in their mailbox and dont want to drive it back to the post office. I have driven other residents mail to the post office to ensure they ultimately get their mail. Several parcels turn up missing, that show delivered after tracking their package. On November 26th, at least two residents packages that showed delivered, never made it to their box. Keys to a large parcel locker were put in their mail box, but when they unlocked the locker, it way empty. I am now missing a package that showed delivered 12/6, but no key to the large parcel locker was in my mail box. THESE PROBLEMS LIE SQUARELY WITH THE MAIL CARRIER. I am involving the police at this point and will be calling the postmaster to resolve this issue.

There are only a handful of people there that are actually nice... Brian and the older white haired gentleman are about it. Everyone else is rude and treat their position of handling your mail as a reason to be degrading and treat you like you are inferior because of this position. I conduct my at home business through the mail (meaning I spend $$$ THOUSANDS $$$ a year at the post office) and I have had it with the rudeness at this location. My home town post office was never this rude and Im from Miami! So now, because of the rude staff here, they will be loosing thousands of dollars from me alone. FedEx is cheaper anyway and they are great with their customer service, I really dont know why I have put up with the abuse from this facility for so long to be honest. I will not be using the United States Postal service for my business transactions any longer.
