The salon had been recommended to me by the bride-to-be as I was attending an out of town wedding. My sisters and I were so very pleased with Marcus and his staff. The salon itself is beautifully decorated and created a serene environment. The staff was so accommodating and our hair and makeup turned out just as we wanted. The 2 days prior to the wedding had been grueling with my sisters lost Mother-of-the Groom gown and all of her clothes, power failure at the hotel causing us to change hotels for the night. Our Saturday morning was rejuvenating at Illusions by Marcus and we were extremely appreciative of their kindness and talent. I would highly recommend marcus and his staff!

Was visiting the area and this place was recommended to me. I booked an appt. for a manicure, upper lip wax, and eyebrow wax. Unfortunately I was not really pleased with the manicure or the eyebrow wax. The manicure felt more like a family member had tried to do my nails. The polish wasnt applied well and I had to remove it by day 4. I thought the eyebrow wax was okay until a day later when I noticed a missing piece of skin from the outer edge of my R eyebrow. I *think* this was caused by the wax, but I cant say for certain. I simply dont know if my stylist, Amparo, was new or if she normally doesnt perform these services.

Found Illusions Salon and Day Spa when I looking for a new salon as I just moved to the Williamsburg area. I was very pleased with the professionalism, the decor, and entire experience. Amparo was my colorist and I absolutely love what she did with my color and cut. Booked my next appointment for my hair and I am looking forward to experiencing their facial and massage services too.
