This is the 3rd time Ive tried this place in about a year. I thought maybe each time it would be better than before. Not. The first time I went there, I left a $10 tip (without looking inside) thinking the car would look fantastic for as long as they had it back in the tunnel. Nope. They didnt wipe down the interior or console. I just left. Second time, same thing, but I got the cheaper wash and they said wiping down the console, etc. wasnt included in the price. I said okay and left, with a $5 tip. This time, I made sure to READ what all was included in the wash I paid for (Platinum = $26). That wash includes cleaning the interior, wiping down the door jams, cleaning the console, etc. When they told me my car was ready, I looked inside and was pretty pissed. They didnt wipe ANYTHING down. I walked around the car on the outside and it had streaks on it and the back end was still dirty. I said something to the kid that "cleaned" the interior. He went back and got a cloth and some spray and wiped down the back of the car with that. Then he used the SAME RAG to "clean" the interior and door jams. He cleaned the door jams, THEN the console. The console was still dirty. (I had spilled soda or something on it and there were spots.) I sat in my car for a few minutes and some other guy walked up and looked at me like I was stupid for sitting there, and I told him the interior needed to be cleaned better. He went and got a "supervisor" who "cleaned" it again. I thanked him profusely and he said he wanted to make sure I was a happy customer. He walked away. I got in my car and the console is STILL DIRTY. Three strikes and youre out. Ill never go back to this place. With all the poor reviews, I really dont know how its still in business. WHY dont the Managers/Owners care more and hire better people? Very disappointed. (Oh, $3 tip this time.) There is also a pretty large spot that looks like the brushes scratched the paint. I am going to take it home and see if my husband can buff it out. If not, guess what? Youll be seeing my face again, and his.

I pulled into line at about 5:28pm and got yelled at from afar by a worker. I couldnt hear him but as he got closer he said "We close at 5:30." I replied with "Im sorry, I didnt know" to which he said "Too late now" because I was already in line. He got so upset, but about 5 minutes later (because the line was moving so slow) they moved all the blue cone things to let someone else in that they apparently knew. He wasnt wearing the uniform, so he either doesnt work there or wasnt on shift. They all obviously knew him, so him coming into the line wasnt a big deal, but me coming in two minutes before they close was. RIDICULOUS. Do they realize how they treat their customers? When I finally got to the bay door I realized they didnt give me the receipt to put on the dash and I saw someone about to walk by so I rolled down my window and told him they didnt give me one. He told me to just tell the guy that was right inside that I was getting the $5 wash. While he was finishing saying that, the guy inside starting yelling at us and waving his hand in an impatient manner. It wasnt even my turn yet. They were still spraying the car in front of me. Right after that I see the distant bay door close and start wondering whats going on.. After a while they finally come up to me and tell me that they have to defrost the tunnel and that it will be about 5 mins. So, Im sitting here still, over 30 mins later, In front of a closed bay door. Still waiting to get a "quick" $5 car wash. After all this trouble, this just really sucks. I come here all the time, granted I dont have much contact with the employees because Im normally in and out. Im very disappointed that they have so many rude people working there. The company could and should do better than that. Good luck Smart Car Wash.

Pros: Environmental friendly, wide range of services Cons: Damage to vehicles, service, expensive, wait times This was my favorite place to go to get my car washed! I moved to Woodbridge and searched high and low for a car wash that was all about service and making sure you were happy with your experience. Sadly, the appeal of service ran out for them. It used to be you would take your car there and everyone was friendly and they were all about making sure your car was taken care of and that you were happy when you left. Right before you left, they would have a paper that you would sign stating that you were happy with the service you had received and that you are happy with the wash you chose. If you decided that your car was not washed to your expectation, they would send your car through again. Those were the days! Im sorry to say that after 3 years of being a loyal customer, I can no longer take my cars to The Smart Carwash. I recently took my wifes brand new Jeep over to get a platinum wash. When I got home, I noticed a large scratch on the hood of the vehicle. The car was recently purchased brand new with no scratches or issues. Ive previously had a scratch on another car after taking it to The Smart Carwash but understand things happen, but this latest one was more than a slight scratch. Overall, Ive noticed service has gone down lately, employees seem to rush through some of the processes. The Smart Carwash used to do a checklist before sending you on your way to make sure you were fully satisfied, but that no longer happens. Im sad to see the service go and sad to search for another car wash. Thanks for the previous experiences and hope you go back to focusing on service and quality.

Mostly friendly staff, but generally lazy and incompetent. The manager is always working hard to please customers, but has no time or anyone to help him supervise the lazy workers. From the first person who scrubs your tires all the way to the last ones who wipe down the interior and exterior of the car, its nothing but a half-assed attempt to look like theyre actually working. The tire scrubber made two quick pushes with a soapy broom on each rim. Like thats gonna work! The towels they use are so dirty they leave streaks on both the car and the windows. When I got in my supposedly finished car, I couldnt even see my previously clean dashboard navigation screen because it had filthy swipe marks on it, as did the rear view mirror. Half the guys who were quickly wiping the water beads off the car only had one filthy towel in their hand, so they rested their free hand on both the car and the glass while they wiped with the towel hand, leaving hand prints on the clean surfaces. When I got home, less than 3 miles away, the swipe marks on the hood of the car were dried on. I had to rewash it by hand. The car looked nearly as bad as when I brought it in for the platinum wash! $23 for a half hour wait, and it looks this bad? And its not like this was a rare day. This has happened three times in a row! I just keep thinking they were to busy or had an off day. Now I realize this is their new norm. Three strikes and youre out, people. Im done with this place. Such a shame, the quality used to be the best in town. The last two years it has really plummeted. They just dont care anymore. Trust me, take your car somewhere else to get washed. Youll regret it if you dont.
