20+ year 610 Veteran...I am a retired Marine who has been taking his vehicles to 610 Car Wash since the 80s...I take each vehicle (3 each) about every 10 to 14 days to get the deluxe car wash. They do the interior/exterior, windows inside and out and wheels w/tire shine. The work is simply outstanding and the best you will find ANYWHERE in the world. It is a great deal and a superb value. The whole process takes 15- 20 minutes, tops. I have a pick-up truck that was "trashed" inside by three wet and muddy hunting dogs over the course of the winter. Hair and sandy dirt everywhere; even under the seats. I took it in to 610 and paid extra for the special detailing and was shocked when that truck came back cleaner than when it was brand new. 610 Car Wash is an rare example of one of the last businesses in the U.S. that provide truly outstanding services at true value prices...You will never, ever find a car wash ANYWHERE that can even come close to the quality work done there. You can go to other car washes around town and you will not find one that is even remotely comparable to the job they do to your car at 610. I figure that I have had my vehicles washed there over 1100 times so, I guess that I am qualified to "speak from experience". I never wash or wax my vehicles at home or by hand and they all are fully protected by Rainex that beads up when it rains and makes the windows remain clear. I have a 2004, 350Z car that still looks brand new, inside and out and it has only been cared for by 610...I have two trucks that are also in pristine condition thanks to the work done at 610 Car Wash. Anyone who criticizes this establishment is in my opinion, either mentally disturbed or just a plain liar. The manager and employess always treat everyone with dignity and respect and do a truly remarkable job employing, training, mentoring and providing scholarship funds to the kids that work there. I am very thankful that 610 Car Wash is there, otherwise there would be no where to take my vehicles to keep them in the shape I have become accustomed to for over 20 years. When 610 Car Wash is gone there will be nowhere else to take your car to get this level of "clean" at any price. 610 Car Wash REALLY is a good deal. Beware of the liars and kooks that have written reveiws here as they will steer you wrong and keep you from finding one of the few "good deals" that remain in this world. Go to the 610 Car Wash a see for yourself and dont forget to get the license plate cover that they put on for you so, you can get discounts when you surely will return after you "see for yourself"...SEMPER 610 CAR WASH!

I worked for the Car Wash for the summer after my freshman year of college. After a little while they needed another cashier inside and I was "promoted." I loved that part because I got to be out of the heat. Facts: -The management absolutely talks bad about employees. -Tips are with held for seemingly inane reasons. -I used to count the tips and then deposit them in Garys safe after closing, there was never any documentation (except for a small handwritten note) of how much money there was or how it was distributed. -Jeff is actually a good guy. -Gary is absolutely a tyrant and difficult to work for. Any day he was working I was on edge constantly. He will yell for no reason at anyone who is unfortunate enough to cross his path. -I spent a decent part of that summer helping redo the mulch in the whole shopping center (which Gary does own). At the end of one long day pulling weeds and spreading mulch he took the girls that had been helping to lunch and sent the boys back to work. I appreciated the lunch, but that was just wrong. -The cars dont come out very clean. Even when I was working there I noticed dirty cars. -The windows are always streaky afterwards. My recent customer experience: -I bought a new car at the very end of this summer and took it twice in two weeks to be washed there. I knew it wouldnt be perfect, but the car wasnt very dirty and I just wanted it to stay looking nice. -The third time I took it there something happened to it in the car wash and the hub cap was bent when it came out. -They took the car out back without saying anything to me as I watched in confusion. They ran it through again. -Apparently my car had "hopped" the track inside the car wash and the conveyor kept moving. The vehicle behind it hit my car damaging the bumper (on a six week old vehicle). I was told I must have a severe alignment problem (which I had checked and I didnt, go figure)or low tire pressure (which they checked there and it was fine). -They refused to do anything about the damage claiming if my vehicle operated correctly it wouldnt have been damaged. I will NEVER be back. My family will never be back. Our many neighbors will never be back. If you choose to go there, definitely dont take any nice vehicle and go at your own risk.

This place has the WORST customer service I have ever experienced, that goes without exaggeration, and it was horrible even dealing with the manager. The manager had knowledge that sending a vehicle with a loose part could do irreparable damage to the vehicle, yet he nor any other of his workers gave any kind of verbal warning, as they have a responsibility to do. My mother took the car to the wash for me, and did not know their "gentle" car wash would do the damage that resulted. They had a responsibility to warn her that the loose plastic going through their car wash could rip my actual mirror off completely, causing 10x the damage that already existed. The manager admitted he has seen cars get damaged further from his car wash, and that his car wash damaged my vehicle, yet he did not own up to the responsibility of damaging my vehicle. Not did he own up to the responsibility of giving a warning to customers or simply refusing to send a car through the wash in order to avoid the situation and damaging a customers vehicle altogether. Even after his admission, he STILL refused to give a measly $22 refund! Unbelievable. In case you havent heard, manager of Carwash 610, the customer is ALWAYS right. He had absolutely no business etiquette, and customer service is horrible! I do not recommend going to this "business," where they, even the manager, clearly do not truly care about their customers or the state of their customers vehicles or the damage that they CAUSE to those vehicles, regardless of it being original or exacerbated. Car damaged. No refund. Not to mention it was a poor cleaning job. My mother spent an additional hour on it herself to get what they missed. There are still crumbs/dirt visible between the seats and arm rest. Absolutely disappointing. DO NOT GO. Youll waste your money and potentially lose money in the event that they damage your car and basically say, "Oh well."

Disclaimer: I USED to work there about 15 years back and know the owner (but not close since working there). If you have a NORMAL car without weird aftermarket crap hanging off it it AND its not a rust bucket that has not been washed in 3 years while sitting underneath a PINE tree covered in bird crap...well..then you will be fine. The people that complain are ones that expect miracles. These are the same people who think that 15 bucks 20 years ago has the same value as 15 bucks today. Their expectations are sky high because anything over $4.25 is in their mind outrageous and for 15 bucks they expect somebody to sit in front of their spoke rims with a toothbrush cleaning off the brake dust that has been caked up for 3 years. Even better are the ones that use their cars as trash bins and want you to clean the combination french-fry/ice-cream/gum thats in their cup holders. The owner is tough. He takes no crap from his employees (and some would say can be a bit abrasive at times), but you have to look at what he deals with which are teenagers and 1/2nd year college frat boys. The ones that make it and are good stay. The ones that are bad get kicked to the road. If you want a good job at ANY car wash go during the week. It does not take an IQ of 190 to know that if you go on a sunny sat morning with cars lined up around the corner to know that quality might suffer a little (even though any owner of a car wash would say otherwise). As for damage, if your car is covered in dirt how the hell do you know there IS NOT a scratch underneath all that crud. If you have weird aftermarket things on your car then its at your own risk. Ive been happy taking my car there. Its good. Just understand that a 15 dollar car wash is the going rate everywhere (at full serve places) and does not mean that new car will come out the other end.
