This funeral home is family owned and treated me as family. Ive had to entrust my loved ones with them THREE times now and each encounter was compassionate and professional. For the individual who gave them one star and complained about having to pay for services before the cremation took place, FYI that is STANDARD procedure for ANY provider. The health department charges $20 per death certificate, not the funeral home. Why should the funeral home pay for your death certificates? If people are going to leave reviews for others I think they should be accurate first off. If you want to complain about the cost, call the other funeral providers right down the street...they charge 3x as much. Tuell-McKee has been in business since 1926 in Tacoma I found out while looking at info online. They must be doing something right to be around for so long and have 3 locations. Thanks again to the staff at the Bremerton location for helping me each time I needed them! But I do hope I dont need their service again for a long time!

Have had two experiences with these people the first time with my son and they gave his remains to someone that wasnt authorized and I never did get them back. Now its my husband and they have been real jerks first they would not let me cremated until I have them pay that I didnt have the money although I got great credit. So my sister-in-law paid the tab and now theyre telling me because I chose the basic cremation but they dont give out death certificates and I have to pay $20 for one when its just on a piece of paper and I need 5 and I have to have them for the life insurance and other things and I have no money Tuell Mckee are only in this business for the money, they do not care. $756 to cremate a body and they cant even give you a death Certificate? Unless you pay a $1000? This is wrong.

Despite this is not my favorite thing to do but they basically have a build your own service packages and are very professional and by far have good rates!! Especially for military honors!! Rest in Paradise Daddy!
