I contacted them regarding getting my heatpump cleaned. I was told by T.W. (a rep that contacted me via email when I used their web contact form) that (copied straight from my email with her) "We do in fact offer a maintenance called a Precision Tune up, which is a 25-30 point inspection process that does include cleaning and servicing the unit and verifying it is running at maximum efficiency. For your area and type of equipment, we offer our Precision Tune up for $ 227.00 plus tax for your Goodman system." Notice where it says cleaning, I specifically asked twice if it was going to be cleaned yet the tech that came out said that was a different service that would cost $170 or so at the end of my service. The tech that came out was great, respectful and gave me a very good run down of everything but was thrown off when I told him about the cleaning when he was trying to bill me at the end. If I was to know beforehand the exact service I was going to get prior to being billed I wouldnt have agreed to have a tech come out. I feel really deceived by their office and honestly wouldnt recommend them to anyone else if this is the way they conduct business. Update: 6/5/17 I was contact by their Service Manager B.V. on May 22nd about what happened. I was offered a 30% discount on the service I originally thought I was getting. I declined the offer to spend more money since I feel that I should not have to pay more to get the service I asked for. On May 25th B.V. said he would talk with the owner and see about getting the cleaning I asked for. As of today there has been no response. I will not be recommending or using G&S again.

Scary evening. I was working in my home office when suddenly I heard a loud WHHHAAMMM and the power went out. Oddly it was only half of the house that was affected. So I thought somehow the breaker was tripped. I went to the breaker box and nothing appeared tripped, but I reset them all anyway to be sure. It helped not. Half my power was still down. So I called around to 5 electrical companies all claiming to provide after hours service, but in fact did not, before finding one that could send an electrician after hours let alone "4-6 weeks out by appt"!! A very friendly and professional electrician arrived within 2 hours and removed the cover from the breaker box. Ill be damned if the power didnt come back on as if by Devine intervention! Immediately he began searching for a loose connection. He knew exactly what to look for. He thoroughly checked each and every wire and connection finding 2 that were loose, one of which was burned to a crisp! He quickly repaired the burned wire and tightened all the other loose connections. Thank goodness, I called around until I found someone to come out. This could have been a devastating house fire! $376.68 for an after hours emergency service and repair was worth saving the precious lives in our home! Thank you, Patrick, at GS Heating, Cooling, and Electrical! God bless you for taking this seriously and coming right away when others would not. You have earned our familys loyalty and repeat business.

Our 20 year old Carrier gas furnace (basic builders model) finally gave out in the early morning hours of 1/21/17. We went to Costco and spoke to the G & S Heating and Cooling sales rep who was manning the Lennox kiosk there. We had a G & S consultant (Ryan) out to our house within an hour. Ryan checked our furnace needs by seeing what type of insulation the house has, the roofing materials, foundation, etc. He was very patient with us and explained the various options and costs that were available. He didnt try to steer us into buying a model that was more than we needed. He checked our carbon monoxide alarm and let us know it was time to replace it. Ryan was terrific to work with and we felt that he had our best interests at heart. We were confident with our choice of G & S. We settled on a Lennox EL 280 two stage gas furnace. Since we used our Costco Executive Membership and Costco Citibank Visa card, we qualified for a rebate from Costco for several hundred dollars, NICE! The installation took place three days later. The two installers were on time, professional and a pleasure to work with. They had the new furnace installed within three hours and left the work area clean. We couldnt be happier with our purchase and G & S Heating and Cooling. We highly recommend both!

Our old furnace died on Christmas Day, 2015. We got bids from several companies but settled on G&S Heating & Electric. They were very thorough in explaining all the features and benefits of the heat pump system we were considering. Selecting an installer endorsed by Costco and a system approved by PUD of Snohomish County afforded us several rebates and credits that brought the price down. And they had a solid reputation and a number of excellent reviews on Yelp and other review services. After G&S installed the system (in one day), the installation supervisor inspected it and saw that he had provided an incorrect measurement on the connector between the air handler and the existing ductwork and they had the error corrected in two days, at no cost to us, of course. Another problem involved the fan coming on for about a minute every 20 minutes occasionally. It took several service calls and working with the manufacturer, Lennox, but the problem has been resolved. We love the system and our heating bill has been reduced dramatically over what we were paying with our old forced air electric system. We are very satisfied customers and would recommend G&S Heating and Electric, Inc. to anyone.

We had an excellent experience with G&S Heating. They were gracious enough to stick us in the day after Christmas (very responsive) because our heater finally kicked the bucket a few days before Christmas. They bent over backwards to get us fit into their busy winter schedule and gave us an excellent deal on our thermostat. Weve been astounded at the overall improvement of our house heating with the equipment they suggested and successfully installed. We noticed almost immediately a much more even heating throughout our home. The only feedback I have is they didnt communicate ahead of time the arrival time for the measurement appointment or the installation appointment. Although, we gave them slack on this since our appointment was set in under a week during their busy season. From Nate on sales and final details to Jon and Jason the installers, they were professional, clean and respectful. Weve had a fair amount of house work done most recently, so weve seen a spectrum of, in particular, cleanliness. We will suggest them to everyone we know whos looking.

I was told one price and charged another. Whether or not this was a misunderstanding, I was told by the technician that he could not give me a copy of the bill and that I would receive my copy by email in a few days.Of course they had to have my credit card number right then. So I called the company and was told the same thing, and that he would get back to me in a few days after they had the time to go over the bill. Which I had yet to actually see, just got a general idea of the cost from the tech. Well, the guy I talked to on the phone never did call me back, and I did receive my bill via email in due course. I did not think it was correct, but it had already been paid. Done and done. The tech seems to have done a fine job, but it all went downhill from there. I pointed out that if I went to a restaurant they would never tell me I would get my bill in a few days, and In the meantime just hand over the credit card. Well, he said, that was just the way they did it. Fine.
