I wrote seveal reviews as my opinions changed dramatically after being here for a month so it goes in descending order, copied from another review site...(After almost two months and 1 month of personal training impression) Dont sign up for the trainers! They try to scam you and they dont understand basic math. My account has been screwed by these people because they explicity told me the training for one month would cost me one thing and then I ask a basic question about how to notify for cancellation and all hell breaks loose. There is a complete breakdown of communication between what the trainers are offering and doing and what the head trainer, Kevin knows. I guess Kevin is supposed to be in charge of accounting but instead of trying to solve the financial fiasco that his employee put me in, he argued about my "fitness goals" and how it didnt make sense why I would sign up for a trainer for one month. Instead of arguing, APOLOGIZE and FIND A SOLUTION. They lie to your face and they do not know the first thing about customer service. I had to argue with this man over what his employee told me, when everyone else I tried to ask had said to go to this man and he doesnt even know how to respond to the customers. JUST DO THE BASIC MEMBERSHIP. Ive been looking up alot of stuff on my own and doing much more research than my trainer has. He showed me a few new things but everything else Ive been doing on my own . THE TRAINING IS NOT WORTH THE PRICE..the staff is pretty much worthless at the front desk,,they just wear makeup and stare..and the guys think its all about tight shirts and muscles. After arguing with this man back and forth, he charged me the wrong amount ANYWAY--which is just a big EFF YOU in my face. Now I have to dispute this charge and try to get the excess refunded to my card. (After I actually got ready to sign up for general membership) the only thing i found weird was they have a 3.50 fee each time u use ur debit card, if u use your debit card. so they want your account number, routing number and bank name. so it was seven dollars and change today and then the first installment comes out march first & the annual fee comes out in may. kinda convoluted at first (This was my first impression) i love the price and the fact that it was new so i checked it out...the reviews do this place an injustice to some degree. this is much better than la fitness up the road! small, new, and they have the updated equipment with the tvs and iphone attachments hooked up! im so excited. the front desk girl we talked to was very helpful and cheerful! and she answered all our questions and that made me feel more at ease. they let us roam around to preview the facility and i thought that was soo cool. its so small and cute and its a really nice facility. im so excited to get started! now there is a annual once a yr fee of 39.99 but its a dollar to join right now & ten dollars a month...either way its hella less expensive than any other place ive found. its more personal of an environment where u can come in and work out and go. thats what i like

Get ready to invite youre cheap boyfriend that couldnt invite you to a decent Valentines Day restaurant so he settle for Wendys in Tacoma. (You know who you are >.>) Ever just wanted to avoid eye contact while doing awkward movements with your body in front of a mirror and giving your best? This is the place! Judge free zone. Meaning they dont judge you! That means beginners will have to chance to really shine while you climb the latter of muscleville. Get ready to make exes cry and your friends envy of when they were out drinking and dating, while you were never seen in the day of daylight cuz you were getting hefty with muscle like an albino African lion in its mating season! Your used to be baby face will be transformed into... another baby face... a baby face with biceps! O.O Jeeebuz is that baby ripped? You bet your sweet cinnamon buns he is! Experience amazing staff, that are always there for questions. No longer to you have to shy away like L.A. Fitness where if asked a question you felt like the kid with his pants down trying to be awknoledge by the hot girl in class. (Yeah Ashley, i hate you.) but feel confidence that theyll have your back on anything. Like your own personal bro that just wants to chill. Just chill. No Netflix. So get pumped and and shout like a maniac to your nearest planet express! Whooops... planet fitness!

Horrible, this company is not trustable at all. Its a big big big trouble to get them off your back, theyll rip you off by taking money off your account even after you cancel your membership , Im still having trouble with them even after canceling my membership for freaking 7 months, they took off $191 from my account a few months after I cancelled with them for personal training, when I called the customer service and asked them why they charged me since I have canceled my membership!!! Youll be wondered how the girl on the phone shamelessly responded; this is what she gave as a response; "this is what it is"! Her response left me speechless...... even for the last month of my membership I didnt receive any service nor a single session of training at all, even though I never needed a personal training, my only reason For personal training was to get to know the gym and stuff since Id just come from Europe and I wasnt familiar with the system in the USA, it was a awful experience, However I disputed the amount, after 6 , 7 months they again took the money, Im still fighting this ridiculous fight to get my money back and I dont know how far and how long Ill be going on with this trouble to finally get rid of them.. Im fed up with just getting charged for nothing, plus the headache that they give me. this people are total nuts that dont understand anything but cheating the members, stay the hell away of this nasty gym.

Never liked the gym from day one. Equipment and machines always broken. Drinking fountain was broken for months. Smells bad and never any paper towels in the locker rooms. Not a clean gym, always disgusting in the locker room. They say its $10 a month but there is a secret $40 a year fee, turns out $15 a month (advertised as $10 a month). Today I canceled my membership and was forced to buy access for the rest of this month and the following. Because I am asked to cancel on the 10th. "Great you want to cancel today? I will just go ahead and charge you for the rest of this month and all of next month since you dont use it". I was trying to get the charge off for the following month (since Im not planning on using it) but their computers were down and it was taking forever. It shouldnt take an hour to pull up a customers contract to prove they have to pay for an additional month when they want to cancel. Shows they do not value the customers time. Dont recommend this gym, would rather pay 5 bucks more and go to LA fitness down the street where they have great customer service.
