Pilot freight service is a joke. I ordered an item through amazon. During the order process I had to select a date and time from available delivery dates. I made the purchase on 1/25. Pilot had the item on 1/25 and it was in transit from Dallas Ft. Worth airport on 1/27 for a delivery date of 1/29. On 1/29 I was contacted by a pilot representative and was told the item had not arrived locally. I go on-line to look at the transit tracking through Pilot and it shows the item was scanned out for delivery. I call pilot and they say it was a mistake that they did not have the item yet. I ask how did it get scanned out for delivery. They say it was a mistake. They then schedule a delivery for 2/1 4 days after the original delivery. They call me again on 2/1 and say they have not received it. I ask where is it at. I am told it is departing a city 150 miles away by truck to arrive later that day but they will not be able to deliver the same day they receive it locally. Then they want to schedule it for 2 days later. I told them if it arrives today then deliver it tomorrow. I am waiting to see if it is delivered tomorrow. If I do receive it tomorrow it will be 5 days past the date originally scheduled for the delivery. It will be 7 days since it left Dallas ft. Worth airport. Oh and on the original request to change the delivery it showed up on there transit tracking that the customer requested a change of delivery. Do not use Pilot delivery. They do not deliver. Go with UPS or fedex. They get it to you when they say they will. also they blamed Amazon for the bad date for delivery. Nice going Pilot. Pass the blame to amazon since you put it on a plane 7 days ago and for some reason you did not ship it to the local airport but the one 150 miles away.

Wish could give negative star. I ordered TV from Dell. Unfortunately for me Dell choose Pilot as Shipping. They said I have to call and schedule an appointment to receive the pacakage. Are they not supposed to do that? On Tracking number they provided it said 8th was delivery date. (Product was ordered on 1st). Called pilot and they said they have the package in wear house, which is few miles from the delivery address. But they said they cannot ship it until 12th. Got an confirmation email saying that it will be received on 12th. On 12th after taking time off to receive the package, they are now saying that it will reach on 13th. I regret doing business with Dell and Pilot

If it is possible to give a negative rating that is what they deserve. THIRD RATE SERVICE. We ordered a tv from Dell during blackfriday. Dell shipped it by air on Monday. Pilot kept the TV in the warehouse and didnt deliver it until the next Thursday. Their delivery person dragged a the TV package across the street from their truck to our house on a rainy day. The package was wet and dinged and had a hole in the bottom. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. They ruined the experience of buying a new TV...........................................

Unable to get a residential shipment in Washington. After five calls, being put on indefinite hold, no answer to calls in Kent and contacting the "executive service manager" I still cant get my shipment. I suspect they are government subsidized to have such bad service. Maybe it just the teamsters. Either way, avoid them!

Missed a very important deadline by 5 days. THE PACKAGE ONLY HAD TO GO 160 MILES and it took 7 days.... Pathetic. I will never use them again.
