I rented an outside unit for nearly all my belongings. After a few months, I discovered mold growing on my belongings. I moved (at my own expense) everything into an inside unit. I had to throw a lot of my belongings away as my furniture warped and mold covered and grew inside things like my AC units, mattresses, couch, etc. There was a leak coming from the ceiling of the unit. Staffs response was less than helpful, "Unfortunately, Washington is one of the wettest states in the country and with non-heated storage units the air becomes stagnant and due to the lack of circulation. Than the stagnant air become moist and heavy, leading to mildew and mold issues. We are sorry that your items became damaged..." I had to replace my belongings which cost thousands of dollars.

The facility is secure, clean and in a great location! The convenience factor is off the charts! They have a covered loading area, large elevators, flat bed dollies for you to use and bolt locks that are extremely difficult to burglarize. The staff member that I met was Evan. He was more like a concierge than a guy trying to rent a storage unit. He was helpful and fast. Im sure he realizes most people dont have all day to fill out paperwork. He explained everything quickly and in a manner that made it easy to understand and follow. If I were able to give it six stars, I would, I HIGHLY recommend College Point Storage!

This place is clean, secure, and up to current fire code. Manager is wonderful! Covered loading area, large elevators, and flatbed dollies available. Highly recommended!
