The director @ the Mukilteo location; Lauren, is one MIS-Informed woman! After my 2.5 year old had attended this facility for a little over 5 hours I got a call saying that my son needed to be picked up because he was not able to be calmed down and was real irritable. (this did not sound like my child) I was asking questions to find out what might be his problem and was then told "after I asked" that he had not eaten anything! Well I said this is more then likely his problem. My son has a milk protein allergy and is not able to eat most of the foods provided by La Petite, I expressed this to her as well she must have read it in the Agreement that I filled out. I asked if I can just provide his meals on a daily basis... She told me NO! Saying that it was against WA state licensing laws to be allowed to do that. I told her then my son was not going to be able to attend there, she then said "good luck finding a licensed care facility that would be willing to Break laws. I called around and not to my surprise I did find a Kinder Care that is sensitive to children with food allergys. THANK GOD for KINDER CARE!!! The one who have ALL childrens needs at heart! Later that same day I went to La Petite to get my sons medical records from Lauren. I believe this maybe made her even more mad that I had been able to find a facility and she gave me all kinds of attitude, was bad mouthing Kinder Care, not to mention she conveniently had thrown away 1 of the papers that I would need for Kinder Care. What a RUDE woman and I couldnt be happier that my son will NOT be around this woman! Oh and I called and spoke with a rep from Washington State Department of Early Learning and was assured that Kinder Care was NOT breaking any laws!! La Petite is either Misinformed (which using Laurens words, "makes you wonder what else is being done wrong!") or that this is just "their" policy. So as 1 mom to another... Please think twice before allowing your child at a facility that has a director with the moral fiber such as this woman. Not able to make acceptations for a child with a food allergy! WOW... NOT RECOMMENDED!!!!! ** If I could rate with-OUT a star I would **

I cannot say enough wonderful things about the Mukilteo La Petit Academy! I enrolled my daughter in their program after investigating 20+ facilities. The staff at the Mukilteo location is always warm, welcoming & available to talk to me when I stop in. Lauren & Patty are incredible women who I adore; yes, they have made our Christmas list too! Mind you, I dont "need" to place my daughter in daycare, it was a choice I made so she could gain more social skills & experience the wonders of classroom fun! I have, personally, worked in the childcare industry in the past & have found that La Petit shares the compassion for the growth & well being of my daughter the same way I do. My children are my world & I couldnt imagine a better place for them to enjoy such enrichment. I am a MOM to the core & I would HIGHLY recommend this facility to any parent who cares for their child as much as I do mine! Thank you La Petit of Mukilteo!!! <3

Our daughter has been attending La Petite on Mukilteo Speedway since she was 6 months old, and she is now a year old. We have been so pleased with the care and education they give her. Her teachers are caring, intelligent, and very good with kids. She is always excited and happy to be dropped off, and when we come to pick her up, she is full of smiles and laughter. It means the world to me to know that she is happy there. The enrichment activities they do with the kids are great; even though she is only one year old I feel as though she has learned so much. They do art and music projects all the time, and are exposed to different games and learning topics. The lunches and snacks the daycare provides are nutritious and varied. At La Petite, I feel as though my daughter gets the care and attention she needs and deserves. I wouldnt want her to spend her time at any other center.

My son has been going to La Petite Mukilteo for about a year and compared to his previous school my sons and my experience has been stupendous! When my son first started we had issues with hitting and learning material required for kindergarten. With their help we were able to redirect him and refocus his enthusiasm to learning and playing well with others. In the first 6 months he was there they took him from barely making it to excelling and ready for kindergarten. We have had a couple hiccups along the way but they are always willing to help. I dont think my son would be where he is now without the help of his teachers and the director at La Petite Mukilteo. I would recommend this school over any preschool/daycare program out there. A big thanks to all of them and their hard work. They deserve it!

I love having my daughter at THIS La Petite location! She has been there for about 2 years now. She started when she was a little over a year old and is now 3. Everyone there is awesome! My daughter has learned so much! And she loves it and is happy to go every morning. When she started until now she asks me every morning "are we going to see my babies today mama?" It makes me feel good knowing she is in a place she loves and looks forward to going each morning. And knowing she is loved and safe while im at work. I think it really hit me that this is the place for us when she out of the blue picked up a book and started telling me all the letters on the cover and their sounds. She was barely 2 at the time. And she was having fun doing it! We love this place and everyone in it!

My daughter is 20 months and absolutely loves her daycare and teachers. Shes always eager to go inside, and never cries when I leave. Thats the greatest feeling in the world. The teachers there are always on top of their game, and are so good with the kids. I highly recommend this daycare to everyone. My daughter comes home singing new songs and shes even talking a lot more and better since shes been attending La Petite. :) She has been going since Feb of this year, and we couldnt have chosen a better daycare.

y childs experience at the Mukilteo location was fabulous. I always found Lauren to be friendly and helpful. Any concerns that I had were immediately addressed and she supplied any information I needed to assist me in understanding the rules. My child also had allergies so I supplied a letter from his doctor, which I was fully aware is a Washington State Law. I was grateful to know that she followed the rules in all situations, this gave me confindence that my child would be safe while in their care.

Not a good place for children with food allergies! This isnt a bad facility, but they deserve a low rating because they really struggle with observing food allergies. Even with a doctors note on file, they still offer children the food theyre allergic too. There is high teacher turn over combined with lack of communication. Theres potential for it to be a great facility but it needs work.
